A little hint would be appreciated.
Alright.
After brick finding puzzle, you should have been acrossed a large storage area, and then a small office, and then trapdoors, and then finally "the room with a golem where you fought some slimes, zombies & blazes". You'll have to go back to the large storage area, and then there must be a elevator shaft, if you go up the ladder, there should be a door. If the door is locked, it means you haven't accessed security chamber, which you probably already went.
P.S. The official name for the map is Minecraft: The Escalation. The reason why I sometimes don't use The or Minecraft is simply because to reduce text length.

1. The mountains around the place are painfully obvious brush strokes. Please smoothen them up.
2. I dislike the multiple paths. To my knowledge, Half Life is a linear shooter so I expected as such. & I imagine so would other players, so mentioning that there are multiple paths can reduce annoyances with players. I personally was quite annoyed that I kept missing stuffs through no fault of my own
3. I'd suggest to retexture dispensers so it's not brutally obvious where the mobs are coming from. I actually expected you to use redstone activated custom spawners for this. Extremely surprised that you didn't. I strongly advise you to do so. Ask for help if you don't know how to use them. I know many MANY mapmakers who would love to help you figure out how they work
4. Retexture the mobs, Creepers, witches, spiders, silverfish, slimes, Blazes - all of them, to fit with the HL lore.
5. Better directions would be helpful at the start. I just stumbled upon which way to go.
6. The stone gets kinda annoying to look at. Maybe consider some texture variation? You have all the blocks of Minecraft to use since you're using a custom texturepack. Go crazy.

8. I'm not sure I like the aspect of being able to enchant weapons in a game like Half Life. Just give better weapons as the players progress. That way you don't have to mess with xp bottles. I wish there was a command to disable normal mob drops & ONLY allow custom ones

10. That's about it. Despite what you may think, I'm REALLY looking forward to the full map & I don't mind waiting indefinitely. Take your time & make it right. Don't release prematurely if you don't feel like it's good enough.

Of course I don't want to use dispensers! Player can 'use' dispensers, and like you said, it's quite obvious to see if mobs gonna spawn there. You probably tried Hypixel's Herobrine's Mansion (I hope I got the name right) I was simply amazed by how he coded all the spawners in the right place. My map also supposed to work like that, but it didn't worked quite well. Mobs aren't spawning. And furthermore, I work on map by connecting directly into map via Minecraft Client. If I put the spawner in map, I can never be able to go into map and fix the bugs. That 2 issues bugged me a lot. Maybe the other mapmakers have solution to this problem?

More varying structure designs were planned, but just like the mob texture, it was unintentionally kept delayed. I will add more variety to map from time to time! In fact, current demo release texture pack is 'optional', but in full release, you'll need the pack at all cost to complete map. (Probably it will be 'Resource Pack' on that day )

Renamed weapons will be in the full release; again, it wasn't my intention to remove them from the map. Probably they snuck out when I was editing chests in the map.

Alright, but rarely, I want to show player the progression of map by showing them moon sets and sun rises behind them. (Just like in demo map!) Other than these parts, I will use daylightcycle.

Thanks! Of course it wouldn't be the custom map if I keep the default Minecraft look too strongly. But I still do want to make it feel like Minecraft. As if entire Half-Life world were sucked into MC's square shaped universe. Either way, what I wanted was people's opinion. I want info about what people would like to see in my map and such. If I kept the project private and suddenly released a full version after I completed the entire map, what if I've done something people don't like? or a big mistake? (Like Anistuffs told me that there are some major flaws in this map) So that's why I made the demo map and released it; simply just to get to know what people likes and don't, and which part should I improve, and what should I concentrate on. (Apparently the biggest issue now is that lack of spawner usage, multiple path, and some of the terrains; which definitely will be fixed in full release.)

& capital letters on signs in Minecraft are annoying to look at. Or maybe that's just me. Maybe it's just me also that utterly utterly hates the trapdoor parkour section & everybody else just loves it.
I haven't played HL but I'd imagine it to have a clear sense of direction, something this map lacks. While watching my videos during editing I realized that for most part of the map I was just running around clueless pulling levers hoping a door opened taking me to a newer area where I again run around clueless pulling more levers hoping another door opened taking me to an even newer area where I rinse & repeat the process.
Despite the overabundance of signs there was very little direction. Also, I've started to hate the visible redstone where it isn't required. In the labs it makes sense, not everywhere.
I know I'm continuing to find faults long after my LP but that's only because this map has the potential to become one of the very best maps ever made. & it's heart-wrenching to see such potential wasted. This map, from a technical viewpoint, is a freaking relic other than the chat-text. This feels like a beta map other than the chat text & beta was 2 years ago. That is physically painful
Edit: I understand that it's just a demo & also that it's entirely my fault that I had raised my expectations of this map to astoundingly high levels. But honestly, that only happened going by the screenshots & the trailers. & frankly, why should I not expect a map to be as awesome as it can possibly be?
So take your time & make this map just that. As awesome as it can possibly be. We will wait. Trust me, I've been waiting for Innswich for over 1.5 years & I still think it'll be the best map ever. We can wait but make this worthy of the wait
