Looks very promissing! Kinda reminds me of Aramis, dunno if you heard of it (it's also a HUGE adventure map). I know this is a WIP but I wanted to tell you to be carefull not to use MCedit to much but fill your world as much as possible (dungeons, random ruins, bandit hideouts, sudden events etc.) Because if it's all just about exploring a marvelous but almost empty map, it would be a bit of a pity But I love it so far and I'm definetely going to follow this (I'll also PM you some more precise ideas you could put in your map)
Your terrain looks great, but the houses could use some work. But that's okay, looks great and look forward to playing it. (I wish I could actually carry out my plans to make custom maps but it just never works out :D)
