Maybe both are memorable And it's fun, but I'd rather keep the amount of creators as low as possible for this one. Aside from a bit of redstone help from a friend or two, it'll mainly be what I and Revolvee can do!

Oh, decent redstone perhaps, but nothing too fancy either And admittedly, I haven't looked all that much into the behind-the-scenes of Boss Battles, mostly because the amount of wires scares me. Do you know of any good redstone tutorial series that start from the basic and go into the complex? I might have to watch one of those.

Right now, though, there's some really amazing things you can do with just spawners and mobs, that the redstone doesn't need to be as "huge" anyway. For example, controlled rapid spawning thanks to redstone lamps being on and off, with some simple redstone clocks and a randomizer, potions being thrown by moving blocks out of the way with location spawners and more.

I guess that spawners CAN do a lot of things without too much redstone, so that's another option. I already know what I'll be doing for the short parkour segment there'll be, using potion spawners for some unexpected challenge

There's just lots of things that are provided now that can really simplify the experience, which I can't complain about
Using latches for weak points, and things such as wooden buttons for hit spots is a solid way, or you could do the 'time' boss fight, where you need to survive and attack back. I really like Jigarbov's from Eronev 2, as it uses some really nice mechanics.

Using both the "fighting back mobs" and the "hit weak points" is about what I'd like in a boss fight, so I'll be sure to try that. I also haven't checked that map out, so I might do that, too Gee, plenty of things on the menu, that's for sure.

About the zombie spawners holding TNT, I don't really get how that affects the gameplay, is it just a nice little drop when you kill them?
Oh, it doesn't directly affect the gameplay per se. Instead, it will affect the players, depending on who they are... which means some will enjoy this feature more than others, all depending.

I can assure you none of them are correct! At least, I hope so... otherwise, the surprise factor is half-ruined.
But, it isn't exactly what it appears to be. It just so happens that the first one holds TNT, that's all!
