I've played Minecraft off and on since beta days, but usually just on a private or LAN server with friends. I don't know that much about Mods or Modding or building elaborate maps. I can download a modpack via technic and get it running, but that's about it.
My problem is that I have a 5 almost 6 year old who loves watching Minecraft videos, and suddenly I've become that mom who doesn't know how to program the VCR (if that analogy even works anymore!).
He wants to do things like the Lucky Block Challenge. I've got a Crazy Craft Installation with lucky blocks that works, and usually I just hand him an empty world and a stack of lucky blocks and let him go to town.
But are there actual Lucky Block Challenge Maps out there anywhere that I could use? I feel like their must be, and I've looked and looked, but I'm starting to feel stupid enough to ask for help.
For example, he loves PopularMMO's and in their videos they always link to their featured mods, and I think I could probably get those installed. But is there a map like their arena with the place to battle, and the villagers to trade with and all of that stuff already set up?
Can anyone please help me before I feel like I need to just go sit in a rocking chair on the porch and yell at kids to get off my lawn?
