Hello! I'm working on a project called "Right Out of the Blue", a minecraft collaborative puzzle map. If you are a skilled map maker, I might hire you to be part of the map. Here is the sign up form:
I'm not too into puzzle maps to be honest, and I wouldn't know where to begin in making one. However, if your map is intended to have a story, I am a pretty skilled writer and could probably come up with an original story for your map(If you don't already have one). Just offering because most puzzle maps have pretty terrible stories and writing, and it would be a good way to set yours apart.

I was thinking my map's storyline would go something along the lines of "a corrupted computer program messes up a giant laboratory, causing you to have to escape the lab and destroy the program". You can write the story for the map, and if you don't really like my idea of what the story should be, you can make up your own.

Build Genre: A bit of both. Mostly building and redstone though.
Preferred Map Section (Shifting Platform Puzzle, Infinite Hallway Puzzle, Gravity Flip Puzzle, or Anti-Maze Puzzle): I think the Infinite hallway would sound fun. I love that kind of stuff. I can also bring new ideas to the table if needed.
Screenshots: Got new computer last weekend due to the old one being chewed and destroyed my my little bro. :/ I will get on mc and do a quick build as soon as possible.

The Anti-Maze is a maze that keeps changing, so like you take a wrong turn, go back to try and pick the right one, but now there's 3 ways. The shifting platform puzzle is just how you thought, so I hope I've explained it well enough for you.

The Infinite Hallway is a pretty simple puzzle, and I'm glad someone took it because I needed it to make the map, "Complete", I should say. The goal of the puzzle is to get to the end of the hallway. But it is a lot harder, adding twists and turns, infinite hallways, multiple hallways that intersect with each other, etc.
and scroll down just over half-way to find a map I made in 72 hrs for the strawberry jam. It's not very good and bugs render it unplayble, but the redstone elements all work fine!
Section: Anti Maze (already build something like this 2 times, one time in survival with ~40 different rooms and one time in creative with 100 room, every single path open and closes randomly)

All you need to do is work on your part of the map and send it to me. I will do my part also and I will Mc-edit your part and all of the team's parts into the main map, and I'll release it.

Great! If you develop a concept, just find a way so that I can download it. I'll make it into a schematic and paste it into the main map and it'll be up for download!

At the moment I have 100 ~4x4 rooms with 4 doors.
All doors open/close at random times.
Even the rooms which only have 3/4 rooms next to them have 4 doors.
Where these doors, which currently lead into nothing, are, I plan to build special rooms with only one door.

Great! Now, I need you to make a 2nd part of the puzzle. Make it a bit harder than the last one, maybe the platform goes quicker or a bigger room with more platforms. Feel free to use the previous map as a template and tinker around a bit. Also remember to use relative coordinates this time so that the coordinates don't get mixed up in the main map.

Brilliant! The room I sent you was a concept/introduction and I'll probably leave it in as that. As for a second room, I've got plans...
Just some questions, is there any build style I need to follow, any story-based things I need to do or anything else I need to know about?

No, not really, what I have planned is you get caught escaping a prison and S.O.S.M, {Self Operated Security Manager}, who is a robot, sends you to the first puzzle and says "If you think you're so tough, try and complete this puzzle." and the first puzzle will be your platform puzzle.

hmmmm. Seems a little vague....
can you please define what an 'anti-maze' is and how long you would like each of these puzzles to be?
EDIT:
Just begun making a moving platform puzzle and just realised that this may not be what you want.
Can I confirm that a 'shifting platform' puzzle means a puzzle involving jumping between moving platforms or have I got this wrong?

Ahh yes, just as I thought. I just need to finish off a couple of experiments and I should have a concept that'll work.
Expect it Thursday/Friday hopefully.
After some tinkering around, I have a concept!

Yeah, that's fine. I might leave opportunities for S.O.S.M to have a comment on the proceedings. I'll get started tonight.
