Hey everyone, I'm going to skip introduction and get to the point. A while back in TU9 on the Xbox 360 edition (the end update), me and my friends started production on an adventure map. Sadly, due to redstone restrictions, terrible lag on the Xbox, and disagreements among the team, the map stopped production half way through. With the purchase of my new computer, i would like to bring the map back alive, but update it with new features such as from updates 1.2-1.8. The map may involve completely updating various places with new update mechanics and items, and worst case scenario, completely porting all progress over, or starting completely over again. I'm hoping that the mod tool made by Opryzelp can port the map over, but i heard there were some errors so a complete redo may be imminent. The map is a Co-op map, so consider that.
I'm looking for:
Hard workers, dedicated to possibly having to rebuild a map from scratch
Story builders. (The general concept of the story is there, but the details have been lost in time.)
Redstone workers. (BIG NEED)
People savvy with command blocks, and barrier blocks (maybe).
People who also own an Xbox 360. (In case we have to port all progress over manually.)
I would like to keep contact via Skype with all workers, so the ideal age for this project would be 13-19 (I'm 17, and find myself uncomfortable talking to those out of my age limit.) If you are interested in being a part of this map, then please leave your Skype details below, and we can talk more about plot and all that. Also i might add that i am in the CST zone, so anyone not in the US may experience difficulties planning times to meet, and build.
The Meaning of Life, the Universe, and Everything.
This is my all time favorite adventure/survival map:
The hidden puzzles on each island/continent with clues leading to them showed a lot of thought and consideration. It was a great map knowing that no matter what I ended up doing, I would find something custom--whether it was getting gutsy and sailing to the farthest island or holing up in my base and mining to find elaborately planned dungeons and secrets. That's what makes a great adventure map to me!
I would most enjoy helping you with this map. 2 Things to note though. 1:I do not use Skype for various personal and technical reasons, 2: I do not own Minecraft on the xbox. I would still gladly work on the map if we can work around the two "problems"
