For the infernal mob drops I think that you might want to add the occasional drops of useful items like sunstone and moonstone, which I am having trouble getting. I have fought some fairly tough infernals now and all that I've gotten is some chain and iron armor, and most commonly an iron hoe, which is by no means useless, but honestly it isn't worth the trouble of having potions thrown at me and my enemies turning invisible.
Ya, that is my thought process as well. Though I have considered adding heart pieces as drops, but if I add that I might buff them a bit more....

Definitely, heart pieces are just a bit op and you wouldn't want them to be too easy to get, and by the way, I get infernal mobs all the time in the nether.
Edit: They are almost always pigmen so it is a simple matter to trap them, build a shelter so as not to die from other pigmen, and slaughter the pigman like a pig.

Hail the textbook, for the textbook contains knowledge and knowledge is power. Those who do not seek new knowledge even occasionally are likely to live their whole life in a state of un- fulfilling stagnation.
Also I think you need a quest that rewards tarma root somehow, that stuffs a pain to get.
Edit: Oh yeah, I forgot to mention earlier, I found an exploit, for infinite water source blocks. If you use a glass bottle on a source block it doesn't absorb the source and then you can put into an ex nihilo barrel and then use a bucket to pull it out and voila, a free water source block.
EditEdit: Also, I think you need to check with the biome thing, I can't summon the water guardian because there is no biome that is "predominately water". If i'm doing it wrong please tell me.

You can craft a water barrel for infinite water. You can also setup liquid transfer nodes to collect infinite water as well. Honestly the only thing limited water dose is make unsightly terrain around lakes, rivers and oceans. Water is ridiculously plentiful and seeing as this is a survival island, water will never be a problem.

Fun fact: The reason I disabled the infinite water trick was to make removing water easier, and to make peopl use mod added ways of making water.
Now then, I am still working on the next update and it is a big one. A quick summery of what you can expect in the next patch(Hopefully ready in a few days):
Fixed orechid's spawning gravel/sand/dust ore. Now you won't get useless stuff like lead!
Fixed a few quests and problems with NBT.
Added a gold caped silverwood wand to the "Final" quest in the TC line. I even made sure it was fully charged!
Made earily game TC easier by adding aura nodes to a few quest rewards, and gave out a fully charged iron capped wood wand as a reward. If you run out of ordo, I recommend killing pigmen for more.
Added a mana bean to the TC quest "Sinful delight". A single mana bean, mind you.
Added witchery seeds to a few quest rewards to remove the "Harvest craft grass gamble" a bit more.
Buffed infernal mobs a bit(From 2.0 more HP to 2.5, and re-enabled a few of the nastier effects like wither)
Added more loot to infernal mobs.(Heart pieces, reward bags, infinity orbs, sun stone, tarma root, ichor...)
Other small changes and bug fixes
In addition to all this, I've started work on two new questlines: Gear Game and Storeroom Stocking.
Gear game is about making tools, armor, and weapons not covered in the main questlines(Necromancers robes, bark belt, pickaxe of distortion). Storeroom stocking is about using magic to automate the creation or farming of X. Might be a stack of thaumiom blocks, 1024 nether wart, ice blocks... If there was a way I could think of to automate it, I added quests for it here.
In addition to all the quest changes, I'm currently planning to seek permission to distribute all the mods in this pack(All have open permission bar two, which I need to ask for via PM). If I get permission, I can distribute the mods, the map, and the config in one download.
I might also have a few tricks up my sleeve, but I can't say what I have in mind yet. Let's just say I have a youtuber considering trying my map, and leave it at that. They haven't said yes, and I want to finish this update.

The hunger overhaul mod greatly increases then time it takes for (vanilla) crops to grow. Because paper is an important resource you're going to want a large sugar cane farm. Making a watering can will help get you started on the farm. The watering can will be your best friend in the early game and help you get food faster.

Just one question, how does one get ordo from killing pigmen?

how this works is that one has their wand in the bottom row of the inventory and slays monsters, they will drop an Aspect orb. Pigmen seem to be the best source of the Ordo one

if you want something in life then either work for it or give up on life and get it in death
I got the reward bag that contained : 1 rail, 32 powered rail and 1 minecart
I dropped the single track and it disappeared.
This is normal, though I can't tell whether it is intentional or minecraft is being derpy.

You're going to hate me for the final quest here(The one with the beacon icon).
Hoohoooo. This looks like its gonna be fun. Can't wait for that update and I trust that I will hate you for the beacon icon quest, though I think that I have a good idea of what it is.

It needs one beacon. And 164 nether star blocks.(I at least give them back at the end).
Fun fact: 164 is the number of blocks needed in a top tear vanilla beacon.

Never heard of a nether star block, what mod adds it? Though you caught me only slightly off-guard, I expected it to need a but-load of nether stars, but I expected it all to be in beacon form, in a way what you did is easier, just so you know.

Ouch...
And I thought getting only a single nether star was tedious enough. I'm assuming there must be an easier way to summon the wither then having to gather 3 wither skullls.

Well, there is a way to build a mob farm for skulls, a way to auto summon the wither, and ways to auto-kill the wither. The reason I made this quest was as a great challenge: The automation of every step. Besides, since you get to keep the blocks you get all the nether stars back.
Fun fact: You would need 1477 nether stars to beat this quest. Have fun...
