Why on earth did I decide to place SO MANY #$%@%@ PILLARS!?
Edit: Just saw the missing stair block in the first screenshot... I should go fix that.

Also, this is why i chose not to do interior areas, they're sooooooooooo much work ;3;
Oh, and in other news i'm now wiring the redstone for Valley of the Fallen, so that area is almost done! And i have the teleporter working so the spawn is officially done too (well it needs a story book, but i'm doing those at the end)
But Torture Chambers is aesthetically finished. I guess I technically met my goal of finishing it before the end of today, as I exited the world at 11:55 PM. Turned out really well, though, and I'm happy with it. Considering it's the only interior area in the map, hopefully that means the other areas will be a bit quicker to make.
I'm going to call that a day. First thing tomorrow, area 2: Trial By Fire.
Edit: I guess I'm not completely done with Area 1 yet as I still have to place a few logs and blocks of cobble (it's going to be a very limited-resource, scavenge area), but that's something I'm going to deal with when I'm working on gameplay.

Okay day 2 has started for me. Yesterday I finished the first and second area aesthetically and loot wise, and now I'm working on the third and final area.
Impressive Ragirk. Very impresssive, although personally I think you should've tried to take as much time as you could on the map, so you can make it be perfect (because you did finish more than a day early...).
Everybody's maps are looking really good! I guess it's only fair I share a sreenshot too. This is a custom cactus I've been working on. It's probably taken a good ten hours to get it looking this good, but I'm pretty happy with the end result:
I swear I didn't work this out before the planning period. If anyone is interested in a tutorial let me know! Back to cartography...
This map was created by me, Ragirk, as part of the 3rd CTM Strawberry Jam, a 72-hour mapping jam hosted in march 2014. I created it using SPC and MCEdit, and it was made in version 1.6.2.
Many months have passed since the events of your previous adventure, the Song of Life, and you have returned to where your adventure begun so long ago. Beneath the ruins of the grand mining complex, you will search for three gems of extreme significance, so that you will be able to open the Starlight Vault and collect the magical crystal, the Star of the Underworld, the first step to knowing your past and destiny.
Alright Ragirk, because you're done, I have nothing to do but LP it. Expect footage this afternoon.

Dangit Sketch, now you make me wanna do some interiors soooo badly. Looks really good!

woot woot.
My mini-CTM map! It's a fun map, so play it!
It's probably a hard drive issue, linked with my skype issues. Can anybody think of a solution other than a new hard drive?

The Wrecked Clutter of Bookshelves, where all memory is stored. This is Dungeon 2a, accessible if you do not put the 'Blocks' disc in the disc box.
Reinstall MCEdit. Allow permissions. Use an admin computer account.
Did that, and this is the only account on my computer.
reminds me of my *delicous* lime wool
I don't even know what I'm building anymore.
EDIT: THANK YOU SO MUCH, IT WORKS NOW. WHY DID I NOT CLICK RUN AS ADMIN?

Special thanks to Axl Rosie for the sig.
It's not a square, so you beat me.

I am on your level bro
Though you can only play 4-6 levels in 1 playthrough...
I know how to make spirals. It was meant to be like that for gameplay purposes.
