Hey there, all. I stream CTMs as well as other indie games, Minecraft servers and probably that's it. I'm your supreme overlord too so I command you to CHECK ME OUT: www.twitch.tv/techniclepanther
does anyone know if mojang has any intention of removing giants? i might want to use them in a dungeon.
No, ec=xcept fir the fact that giant AI is extremely unreliable. They basically randomly walk around, and if you come in their misplaced hitbox they do 100 (50 hearts) damage.
Btw since Im getting a page here.... Nvm some1 had to post while I was typing this...
What loot would you prefer? Randomly tierd loot, causing junky chests, or just good loot. And in 1.8, how would you feel about immediately acquiring an enchanting table and me hiding books and lapis around the map. Would you like finding a chest containg just a piece of lapis? Or should I junk up chests with coal and wood so you have something to spit through?
Hey guys, i'm gonna start work on 3 maps now, basically i'm making three test ones to build my skill back up from my hiatus, and then i will take the most balanced and best areas for my next two swords maps. Also, were any mention-able maps released while i was gone?

Community question:
What do you think is the most preferable method to make brewing be unaccesible?
1. Make there be no cobblestone to craft brewing stands.
2. Make there be no nether wart.
3. Make there be no glass bottles or the materials needed to craft them.
4. Make there be no water bottles (basically a command block that removes them from your inventory).

number 4, except with brewing stands as well as bottles. nether wart can sometimes make things look cool.

2. Simply because that cant be used to make other stuff.

I choose door #2, netherwart can't be used for crafting, so it wouldn't be bad if it wasn't there.

I would go either 2 or 4. But somehow number 4 would be a little unnatural, so my final answer would be number 2.

As for the giants thing:
Since the giants attack AI, thingy, isn't like other mobs, if I had to make one, I would tend to use the giants as cosmetics only (also to intimidate the player) so the giants isn't solely the main mob of my area. A good example would be the giants in Emerald Dreams 3. The real hazard isn't the giants themself, but the mob that came with them (no more spoiler).
My name is Fangride and I really don't erode areas.
Now quote that and add fancy lettering and you got yourself a ctm community commercial! :V
I am..... The coolest mapper on earth (ya we all know thats a lie....)

But of course, someone below me will probably just ignore me and continue this thing anyway...
I am serious though >.> I've never used the erode tool in my life. I use a weird combo of air and material brushes instead.
ladies and gentlemen this is why SI has taken
3 5 102 yearsyeah... i did that for a while and i found that erode brushes work really well.
I don't think they do.
