Updated the review section a bit with some notable changes.
-First off, the color/number system for rating reviews has changed a bit. We've added a fourth color to distinguish maps of a higher score. From now on, Teal will be a score from 24-30, Green will be a score of 18-23, Golden Rod will be a score of 11-17, and Fire Brick will be a score of 3-10. It's only slightly more complicated than the previous system, but you guys will catch on just fine. This change was mostly made so that there could be more distinction between higher-rated maps.
-Second, I've added a "Joke Reviews" section, so we can chronicle the lulz. I do not want people switching to only writing joke reviews! If it becomes a problem, it will be removed from the OP so we can return to normal reviews.
And that's about it. The list of reviews should be up to date, but keep writing them up! Skeeto and Dylan will probably be on the account later to work on a few other things.

Also, it's still not in the regular map list, much less upcoming maps.
Dude, I added your first map to the New Releases list, a place that is much more likely to get MORE attention than the big map list or the upcoming maps list. -_-
Upcoming (correct me if I'm wrong, other 4!) means maps that aren't released but have been announced to be working on, or, like Desolate Dreamscape, in beta. Once they're released officially they'll be moved to the "new releases" section where everyone can see them and review them
I think open-beta maps are separate from upcoming maps, but closed-beta maps can still be counted as upcoming. IDK, bring it up in the PM.
Okay, I've decided that, since I've ragequit Inferno Mines about 15 times, I'm going to be beating SBC first, and honing my skills. I'll be posting updates on my progress here. I doubt any of you will be interested, but I figured I might as well, to stop me from ragequitting.
Update 1:
Got the wood and made a small wheat farm to grow while I worked on the white wool. Ran over to entrance, watched two skellies & a spider have an infighting threesome, ran in, saw a skelly and a creeper, tried to get a record, ended up killing creeper. Saw another creeper, that one blew up. Skelly kept shooting me when I tried to enter, managed to punch it out into the daylight. Ran in, placed a torch, blocked off stairs, took coal. Had a scare with spiderps climbing over my barricade. Tunneled into potion box, then dug straight down into fleecy box (cheap, I know, but I had no food.). Came back up, tunneled into enchanting room, nearly had a creeper blow the table up, put some level 1's on tools. Tunneled to sapling box, took stuff, set up a temporary base at the entrance with a bed, workbench, and double chest. Tunneled under spider spawners to avoid feesh, broke them. Coming back to my base, found that a ton of spiderps had built up trying to climb my barricade. Creeper blew me up when I was trying to come down into the next bit of the dungeon. Had to peaceful toggle D: because the mobs were killing my computer. Raged because the peaceful toggle and a creeper explosion that had happened right after I died made me lose almost all of my stuff (zombies picked my stuff up, then died because of peaceful.). Ragequit that area, since I already had the wool. Currently farming a lot of wood.

Lava Leaps II
Difficulty: 4
Overall Enjoyment: 7
Comments: Lava Leaps II is a fun little map, with a slightly devilish opening. All in all, though, it's a bit too easy later on. You get equipment that basically allows you to sail through other parts with ease. One thing I don't like is the islands are placed very weirdly. It just doesn't look very natural. There are also a lot of obvious brush strokes, and a tree surrounded by a square of water. All in all, the map is rather fun, but a bit ugly and a bit easy. Some of the structures looked rather nice, and KingKaider seems to be good at caves, but a cube of coal ore? seriously?

Comments:
Sea of Flame II, the remake of Vechs' first map, Sea of Flame, is a well laid out Open-World style map. It is fairly good for one of Vechs' earlier maps and it still holds up well today. Most of the dungeons have some kind of unique aspect to them; they look cool, but they are not amazing looking. It is fairly easy to beat and so you don't have to spend too long completing it. Some of my only complaints about this map are that the black wool is too easy and the brown wool is annoying to find. Other than that it is a fairly solid map. Although Vechs says Sea of Flame isn't his best work, it is in no way bad.

Comments: This map looks amazing from first sight. It blows your mind, and gives you time to prepare for the dangers ahead too. The walls are beautiful, and the lone tower in the centre really brings it out as well. The gameplay is very interesting, involving risk vs reward factors and quick thinking for your next hasty step before attacking the tower. This is the second map in the Dragonstone Keep series of minimaps which are all splendid examples of Fortress Assault, along with beautiful aesthetics to hold them up as well. Xek has trained himself well to provide a difficult but fun experience for the expert players.
I was looking over the areas I have made so far and I think I am happiest with how this one aesthetically turned out:
Thoughts?
Might wanna do some block variation on the stone - put some random cobble, stone brick, ect. to spruce it up. Otherwise looks quite nice!
On another note, I'm thinking about making my Victory Monument a fair bit larger and using BUD switches with them. What do you guys think - smaller traditional monument with a few chests and not a lot of space, or a large one with BUD switches and room to make a full base?

Upcoming maps, bro. (I know it is upcoming, just funny that you put that date on it.)
Hybran and I could fix that, if you want...

Depends on how you look at it. Yes, it's under water, but it's not under water.
Tecnically, it's surrounded by water that's surrounded by glowstone. You still don't want to let the Creepers go off.
1000 posts!
Congrats!
