Hey Karrott, you use Kamyu's Tools, right? Could you tell me how to install it? :3 I want to make some mobs with custom drops, and it sounds much easier to do that with Kamyu's.

There really is no way to ,quote in quote, "INSTALL" it. You download the .zip, extract it, and look for the name of the program in the form of an application. You run it, and you can go from there.

Good to know, thanks! Could you also tell me where it outputs? I've heard it's confusing.
Hey, does anyone know if it is possible to create dyed iron armor through NBT tags? If possible, can you also see if this works for tools too? I vowed to not use my computer so I'm not doing that.@Witty You're back!

Every bloody CTM map series boasts that it's bigger, longer, and harder than other CTM series. It's almost as if it's a **** measuring contest. (bigger, longer, harder...)

Thanks, guys! It works!
@Pie With my new custom spawner skills, I shall test this! Also, why the hell aren't you using your computer?
As I promised yesterday, here's a display of the mob variant I've been working on; the Thistleback!
The Thistleback is essentially a buffed silverfish. They come in two varieties: light and heavy. Light Thistlebacks are fast and plentiful, but don't do very much damage. They have a rare drop of a "Gleaming Thistleback Spine", that is, a Sharpness I enchanting book. Heavy Thistlebacks are slow, but also very deadly, as they have the strength potion effect as well as thorns (leather helmet with thorns I). They have a rare drop of a "Gnarled Thistleback Spine", a Thorns I enchanting book.
The Light and Heavy Thistlebacks also have more buffed variants; the Thistleback Queen and Thistleback Drone. Thistleback Queens have doubled speed effects over the Light Thistlebacks, as well as strength. They have a high drop chance of a "Gleaming Thistleback Spine - Level II", a Sharpness II enchanting book. Thistleback Drones are twice as slow as the Heavy Thistlebacks, but they have twice as much health, as well as the Thorns V effect on their side. They drop a "Gnarled Thistleback Spine - Level II), a Thorns II book. These super-buffed variants spawn very rarely (weight of 1 against the normal variant's weight of 10), and always have their nametag above their head.
I'm planning an entire area around these guys in Dreadsky Depths, but I haven't yet balanced them around that scenario, so I won't be releasing the schematics for the spawners. I'm really excited about the possibility of creating variants like this, so expect more displays like this in the future!
(To be fair, I came up with the idea for Thistlebacks before we knew anything about Vechs' custom mobs like the Char, Boomer, etc.)
Awesome! How did you make the menu show the names of those four books?

I imported the spawner with MCEdit, but it doesn't spin... Weird. Oh well, I shall experiment, for I am Indomitable Infamy who likes to alliterate!
I assume he highlighted each one individually and took a screenshot, then edited them together.
That.
Also, thanks to everyone who's responded positively about the Thistlebacks so far. I'm really looking forward to testing them out in the actual dungeon they'll be in. I'm planning on using custom spawner features (from both 1.4.7 and 1.5) to their fullest in Dreadsky Depths.
I've actually been working on quick-spawning ghast towers today (not the immobile ones like Vechs'), but I'm having a bit of an issue with RequiredPlayerRange. In the custom spawner tool, I plug in 24 for that value, and then importing it in-game, I measure it and the range is still 16. Is this an issue with the tool, or does that tag even work? I'd really like to know.
show us, show the world you can make something beyond the average CTM map, show us not only a map but a piece of art.

It'll be better when I put the Skeetos in :). Also, I never really did like that dungeon, I kind of had to force myself to keep working on it because I didn't have any better ideas. I'll be revealing a far more aesthetically... interesting area tomorrow. Also, lava balloons. Someone try to figure out what they are. (:<
