Well, here's what I've got so far with this area! (night vision because this area is SO DARK!)
More bridges, stairs, and trees are on the list to be added. Any suggestions for other structures i might try? (don't say towers, i swear i've had enough of towers XD )
How about some ruins of an old village? Maybe have some shops and such. Alternatively you could try making a farm.

Ehh, too plain. Using one block on one certain block. My suggestion is to put different blocks that looks like grass, like Green stained clay or something. Same goes with the tree leaves, other than that, it looks good.

Uhh, Apollo WAS using green and lime stained clay already. Look closer at the picture.
Also, I think the area looks kind of cool. There definitely should be more stairs and bridges, and possibly some spawners hidden in trees if you want to be a troll.
How long has it been since the last community-question was asked?
(I've been away for pretty long in the thread and the Dani thinks it might be a nice start)
Anyways, here's the question that has brought me back to here: CQ: Do you prefer maps that have a wide range of themes(1-2 Wools per 'theme', like a LOT of the current CTMs) or maps that have one(maybe two) overall-theme(s) that stretches through the whole map? (This means gameplay- and aesthetics-style, NOT lore)
For me, personally, I enjoy maps with a consistent theme through the whole map, because they feel more immersive and I can get a better feeling for the map (Spellbound Caves and Kaizo Caverns did a great job at this).
In a map of many themes, every intersection kinda feels like some sort of Level-select screen in Trackmania - Do I want to go to the steep snowy mountains or into the fiery lava-desert?
I really prefer making theme variant maps. I made a map last year, Hikaro Jungle, and that was a map that was completely jungle themed. It turned out pretty well, but I ended up getting bored of building the same type of aesthetic for every area. Most of the areas look different, but there are a ton of similarities between them. Really makes the map kind of bland aesthetic-wise. Variant maps really keep me mapping because if I don't want to be building a forest area, I could go and work on another area.
I really like the themes you used in your first map, Into The Storm. I'd definitely recommend people to download that and look at how varied some of the areas were!
PSA: HE IS LYING. INTO THE STORM IS GOING TO BE TAKEN DOWN VERY SOON. IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED TO DOWNLOAD!!

Ya it is really great especially the black wool and red wool everyone loves it when they play it, Into the Storm is a great map made by Squirrel chipmunk!

Quality. Streams.
Yes, this is an actual picture from Dylan's stream. This is why you should watch it
cough cough I can also cough cough
I think the entrance to Gourden's Stronghold (Nether area of the map, Green Wool) is quite grand enough.
I like the colour pallet but I think the nether portal needs some modification, just keep it simple
To be honest that nether portal looks... derpy.
Wow, I love that monument
It's nearly here...
Legends of Argon.
Wow! It's looking really good! One thing I'd suggest is to use another block other than just andestie on the structures, so it looks prettier
A bit more of a generic area, any thoughts/suggestions?
WHERE DID YOU COME FROM. I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD.
