Hey everyone! I have a couple things I wanted to share with you all :).
I have lately been brainstorming on ways to make unique mob ideas. I know both fang and amlup have used negative potions stacked atop of mobs ie poison etc. I thought wouldn't it be great if when the mob died you got a positive potion effect? This would give the player incentive to go in for the melee kill and get the positive potion effect. The mob I made gives the player a 30 second speed buff and they will be the main mob in this area.
And they look like this
I also named them Jungle Demon so if they somehow kill you, which they shouldn't it'll say Dylanamite was slain by Jungle Demon ;). Thoughts on this?
The other thing was a made a structure that I am super happy with thoughts?
Good idea with the potion effects. The structure looks great, too.
On the topic of positive potion effects, I've had a specific idea for an area to replace one that I've previously made and am unsatisfied with. It consists of a tall cavern with ledges and cliffs you make your way up, and the mobs would have jump boost potions you can use to advance when you kill them. I think it could work pretty well if done right.

I like this it looks cool. I like it and on the topic of custom mobs. What are all you peoples favorite type of custom mobs. I really liked the invisible cave spiders in IM.

I agree with this idea too seems great. Wish I had time to play every CTM map ever (well almost every CTM map ever some are just rip offs and some are just plainly bad)

The shoes look kinda out of place.. Maybe try chest only instead of boots? Looks like he just lost some armour...
Can you turn Light on at the building? It's totally black for me...
Every bloody CTM map series boasts that it's bigger, longer, and harder than other CTM series. It's almost as if it's a **** measuring contest. (bigger, longer, harder...)

This made me think... Witches that drop a poison slowness weakness antidote when you kill them, think that would be a good idea?
You should change the thing to a PVPer stuck in a mapmaker's body now because I see you on project ares 24/7

It's kinda bothered me that people use OCD so flippantly. Granted, I've made my share of claims regarding OCD, but I'm willing to be a large portion of you who use that term aren't actually diagnosed with OCD. You might like things to be symmetrical, or even perfect. But that's perfectionism, not OCD.

Indeed.. OCD is when you are almost killing yourself because it's not the way it "SHOULD" be... When you rebuild a 100 block long corridor, that isn't made out of 1 block (me playing monstrosity)...
kinda weird i did built multi-block corridors in my own map and not feeling to change it...
Good example of OCD: asking a Youtuber in the comments to make his ladders start at the bottom instead of skipping the first block (was not me)..
I guess you can... BTW, don't forget about the option of making a splash potion of poison X (1tick) and slowness X (1tick) ride the witch, going of when you kill her. That's something totally different then them dropping antidotes that you can stock up...

I'm not entirely sure that would work. In UT3, Amlup gave out splash antidotes with effects lasting for 3 seconds, but unfortunately, they didn't work fully unless you were hit with them directly, meaning you would have to look straight up and throw it. That means that the idea you suggested only has the possibility of working if you're directly under the witch when she dies, which is pretty impractical. It also might not work at all if you put it as 1 tick.
