Regarding the level I put up for testing, there has been several improvements.
-It's more difficult
-More lighting. It's easier to see in the dark.
-The redstone circuitry itself acts like a puzzle, so I've place a hidden chest in there.
-Since anvil came out in 1.2, placing this level higher up significantly decreased the lag spikes when you press a gate switch. In addition, it has less redstone by taking advantage of already laid out redstone.
-Included a level bypass
i would love to help test. i don't know what you mean by os, but i have a macbook air that can run normal minecraft with a bunch of simpleish-moderate redstone usage on far distance. i can also provide feedback.

If I helped you or you are pleased with my work, push that big green + over there!
just from the pictures looks like you spent alot of time redstoning how much time ish did you spend?
EDIT: also yea as said below my computer can handle normal minecraft but has trouble on complicated maps hope that helps.
I spent about 5 or 6 hours planning the puzzle with a pencil and piece of paper. Then I took about 10 hours with redstone. I ran into a lot of problems and had to do redo a lot of stuff. A "prototype" of what I started out with is outside.
And I am specifically looking at how the lag is once you toggle the switches so I need to see how low spec and high spec can handle it.
My computer has 2gb ram. Dunno what OS is ( if you ell me ill tell you what it is) I can run minecraft modrately well on fanccy graphics, perfectly on fast. I will also provide any feed back necasary
Are you running Xp, Vista, or Windows 7? Is it 32bit or 64bit?
i am running a windows 7 computer..its pretty fast... and i will get back to you with a video. :biggrin.gif: (and if im alowd ill put it on youtube.)(im a small youtuber)

Leave me your:
1. OS you're running.
2. Computer specs (I need people of all ranges)
3. If you can provide feedback I request.
If I choose you, I will send you a pm to the download link along with some more additional information.
Edit:
Thank you for all the testers and for the feedback. The map is now live here: http://www.minecraft...le-stunzle-v11/

12 GB RAM
6 64 bit CPUs
1 GB AMD Graphics Card
Never experienced lag with anything
edit: almost forgot the 1 TB HDD

I have an i7, Windows 7 32 bit, 4GB RAM, GEFORCE 230M.
I'm not sure what kind of level the Redstone is at but I do know a fair bit.
