RULES:
- The map is compatible only with version 1.20.2 of Minecraft.
- Install and activate the resource pack "Across The Time II - Resource Pack 1.20.zip" before starting to play.

- The "OptiFine" mod is recommended for playing "Across The Time 2":

- Solo playable but possibility of cooperative play: 1 to 3 players advised, Maximum 5 players.
MULTI :
- You have to install a server. To do this, many tutorials are available on the internet like this: https://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Tutorials/Setting_up_a_server
- You must assign yourself the administration of the server by writing this command in the server terminal: /op [playername]
- Do not use plugins with "Spigot", "Bukkit" etc...
- Enable the command block.

If there is a problem when launching the map or the resource-pack, you have to allocate enough RAM to Minecraft. - Recommanded required (1 player): 4Go. - Recommanded required (3 players): 5Go. - Recommanded required (5 players): 6Go.
Since the events of Across The Time, you have managed to return to your era and a few years have passed. The hero you embodied has resumed to his old habits in the city where he lives: Hill Valley. This town, following the disruptions of the magical source, was able to partly transform it and so, use it as an energy source. But in this new peaceful life, evil resurfaced. It eats you away since you drank the source of corruption in the Kingdom of Angband in the old days.
This all besides the fact that your heroic acts are completely forgotten in the modern time in which you live, and your new daily habits are driving you completely embittered. You gradually start losing the control of your mind; nothing seems to have control over this mystical power of the ancient source of corruption. The person who was the hero of the 7 Worlds seems to have faded and sank into a hellish vortex. You start killing innocents…
This is when a mysterious being appears; the only name that he will give to you is a letter… « S ». A new reason to fight will arise from the threat of this evil energy. »S » will entrust you with a task, a mission in which you will have to wipe out the heroic life you have spent in Ëarndhel and question the people who helped you in the past. But this new quest might give you the opportunity of making a name in a new world of the past of Tellurön.
You will have to travel the land of Silberländ in order to get rid of the evil in your mind. This mission, far less heroic from the one you had to save the 7 worlds can seem much less epic as well. This task won’t be easy and many things will be revealed about you. You will travel from one region to another, from towns to villages and also through new dimensions. You will not only learn more about yourself but also about the history of the seven kingdoms. Many more surprises to come…
The hero that you were must avoid chaos and oblivion; you were not the chosen one from the 7 World for no reason after all … Control the magic of the old days « Dahäl » by learning more spells; master the numerous weapons and armors; help the people of Silberländ; collect you own fortune with the local currency « Chronoton » and climb the levels to become even more powerful. A new epic adventure awaits you in « Across The Time II – Time for Regrets ».
Across The Time 2 is just like the previous one : a RPG Adventure style map PVE with a multiplayer mode: from 1 to 5 players.
You will need to complete a very long journey through a main quest, across a huge semi-open world.
Many quests and challenges await you on the road as well as a lot of battles against monsters.
As in any other RPG you will be allowed to choose your skill and select your answers on some dialogue. In order to improve your abilities and evolve, you will have an evolution system based on your level and a highly developed economy to help you progress.
Also hundreds of items (partly customized by texture pack) are included in the map. They can be available in shops or to collect in the monsters’ loots you kill.
A magic system of leveling and power was created for the map, and many things, which will be introduced later on.
Your path will be full of pitfalls and the monsters you meet will always be more powerful than the previous. Normal Mobs like the elites will have a level system according to the player’s power. Like that, improvement and progression will sound even more attractive.
Many customized bosses will stand in your way. You will have to fight using all your strength … but also cunning, to beat them.
In open areas, monsters will reappear to enable the players to farm and increase their power.
To fight these dark forces, you can use multiple fighting styles: Distance (Arc), CAC (Sword, Axe, Mace…) and Magic (out of attack or assistance).
The power of monsters relative to the player's level will be indicated by a symbol above the monster's head.
The player will have the ability to increase the power thanks to the experience, chests or quest rewards.
A leveling system appears in Across the Time 2 called "Rising". It will allow to define the power of the player compared to the monsters.
Each of these levels you'll win:
- Additional Hearts,
- Dahäl max,
- Skill points.
Sharing of Heart and Dahäl will be done automatically but Skill Points may be spent in different categories at the Weapon Master.
The maximum level that can be reached by the player is set to "50".
But we have not neglected the end-game because after this maximum level, additional ranks called "MASTER" can still be won.
So the player can continue to evolve and increase in power even after completing the main quest.
During your adventure, you must travel through a very large area, and you will also meet many NPCs.
Besides your long main quest you will have access to additional content to improve your experience. Through side quests you can discover plenty of other areas and awards.
Nevertheless, you can rest assured: monitoring book quests will help you to exactly where you need to go to your main quest and so know where you are in the other side missions, all in a single click.
You will need just to press an icon and each of the quests will be specified in a list in the chat. Then, you will be able to know what the hero must done, what he has completed and what he must be found by clicking on the name of the quest.

Curiosity will be rewarded, don’t be afraid to adventure… many surprises await you!
The GPS work on the principle of triangulations coordinates. Here we serve only a plan in 2 Dimensions (X, Z), it's all that matters because if the player is lost will know the azimut and find the goal he seeks. The height will no longer be a problem after.
The choice of the objective (primary or secondary) will therefore be possible thanks to the help book quests. It will be enough so that the lost player activates the system by a simple click in this help book quest he will then choose in the chat. An arrow will appear directly above his head indicating the precise direction view of the goal. In order to evaluate the distance between the player and the objective, the arrows will have 8 different colors. The red will mean that the player is still far from the goal, then when he comes near it will turn to orange, then yellow to finish by shades of green.
In order to increase your will of traveling to faraway places, the Exploits system resurfaced.
On top of side quests, you will have challenges to achieve along the adventure; you will earn XP and money as you complete them.
During your adventure in Across The Time 2 you will be accompanied by more than secondary objectives whose display is directly linked to the game in the menu.
This will allow you not only to have extra rewards but also to be able to follow your progress of the story very easily, and for those who aim to complete everything and unlock secrets they will have the availability to complete many groups of advancements (adventure, travel , history, fights, etc...).
In addition a new system of Exploit was realized: the Panorama. You can be an explorer and discover all the places and beautiful views of the area.
Through the side quests you will talk to people, conversations during which you will have several choices to make.
Those choices will have an influence on the reactions and the awards you can get. A reputation’s counter will constantly calculate: if you do good you will be rewarded in a very distinctive way than is you do absolute evil around you.
The gameplay will be greatly diversified according the choices that the player will make in his evolution.
As in any RPG, the player will evolve by cap of level, and in Across The Time 2 the player will gain points of skills that can be spent in several attributs as you can see in the following picture :
– « STR » Physical strength and the damage he will do with the hand weapons and arcs.
– « RES » The resistance to the physical damage of enemies.
– « HAS » The strike rate of CaC weapons and not ranged weapons.
– « SPD » The movement speed.
– « HER » Health generation.
– « DAR » The rate of Dahäl regeneration points.
– « LUC » The ability to find rarer magic items.
– « HUN » The saturation of the player’s hunger bar.
Obviously this won’t be free, in order to unlock abilities you will hate to spend your experience points.
The player can choose different difficulties: "Apprentice", "Veteran", "Master".
In order to stop the player from foolishly running into traps or in a room full of monsters, it will always be sanctioned by a death penalty. But although this penalty is adjustable according to the difficulty, a checkpoint system will always save the last position.
The price of death will be calculated by a percentage of Chronotons according to the chosen difficulty. If you play in a great difficulty you may lose experience.
If you die, your body will reappear on the last checkpoint you checked. You must not forget to validate them since most of them won’t be automatic.
Although horses will be available, Waypoints will be very useful to get from one point to another in an instant.
They will be available in each strategic region of the map. In order to use them you will have to find them first and unlock their ability to teleport.
In the kingdom of Sylberländ you will find multitude of items of all kinds and especially some to kit you out to fight evil : Weapons (bow, sword, dagger, mace, axe) Armor (leather, gold, iron, diamonds) and shield.
Different classes of items will also be available: some in abundance and some other on very rare occasions.
Common (Items with malus) Quests (Items for quests) Uncommon (Items with bonus) Rare (Items with enchant and bonus)
Epic (Items Powerful items) Legendary (Items very powerful) Mythical (Customize items with unique effects)
Some items will be customized thanks to the textures pack, for example the Epic currency« Ecaille Souveraine du Chaos ».
In addition to the enderchest, we created a system of portable-chest like bags that you can summon whenever you like (for example in a dungeon) thanks to the Dahäl.
Magic spell is based on the incantations with books which is practical thanks to the Dahäl incantation’s tool.
This new item makes it easier to cast the spell, as you can see on the video.
Each spell will be available in Magic Book and may improve according to how many times you used them.
At the beginning the spells that were not used yet will not have much impact, but gradually as the player uses a magic spell, its power will increase. Moreover some spells will see their visual effect change as they evolve.
When a spell passes a level you will need to check it at the Master of Dahäl’s place.
There are 10 levels by spell book, and there will be more than 25 spells in Across The Time 2.
Always important in an RPG-like game is the economy and in particular the currency, here still called « Chronoton » as in Across The Time first named.
It will be used mainly to buy many items in stores that will serve you in your adventure.
Monsters will drop some coins whose number will vary according to their difficulty, and you will have to complete missions or sell the loot from a specialist dealer to gain Chronotons.
But although Chronotons will be useful, it will not neglect another currency that reappeared in Across The Time 2 « Ecailles Souveraines du Chaos » (or in english « Scale the Sovereign Chaos »). This currency is a very rare and legendary item, you can purchase powerful epic items in a store planned for this purpose.
During your journey you will find several towns populated by NPCs including traders who are willing to do business with you.
Each of the towns or villages will have all kinds of shops who you can buy various items with your Chronotons :
– Blacksmith (weapons and armor)
– Grocery (various Food)
– Alchemist (Potion)
– Enchantress (Clothes of Dahäl)
– Woodcutter (coal)
– Stable (Horses)
– Clandestine Market (Sovereign Object)
– Master of Dahäl (Books of Spells)
You can also spend some Chronotons to the hostel from the main town to rest and recover quickly all your life.
A bank will be set up in several cities in order to protect your money in case of death. Indeed when you die you lose a percentage of Chronotons you have on you.
Deposit your money in the bank and during your adventure you will protect your gains.
A very satisfying way to immerse yourself in Minecraft adventure is the resource pack, because it allows you to have available to numerous customization.
Especially, add the customized items such as new weapons (knives, masses, legendary weapons), various objects specially modify for this adventure (Sovereign Scale Chaos keys, quest Object). They will, moreover, designed in 3D as you can see in the images below.

Also, the resource-pack allows another presentation of the inventory, including many customs sounds.
Of course not to mention a soundtrack with new original music composed for the map entirely.

Finally, as you understand, Across The Time is not a simple map Minecraft. It's a Universe, a Story in its own right! Thundesrtruck who created and writes the story continues to flesh it out day by day. In the map you will find many texts, but many are very long and will be for some diffused on our Internet site.
Other stories of Thundesrtruck are in development and will surely be novels to be unveiled apart from the game in books.

The construction of this huge map requires much time, resources and technique to build, terraform, or create commands blocks systems and now in functions.
That’s why we use a few plugins and software to help us in this difficult task.
To develop and encode in Minecraft functions we use VisualStudio.
We have a private server in Minecraft 1.13.2 to work together on the map and using Spigot we guarantee the support of all our favorite plugins such as World Edit and VoxelSniper.
We also use MCedit and NBTedit to help us change some technical and internal aspects of the map.
For rendering pictures, we use primarily the shaders Sildurs Vibrant directly into play and we will also use the software Chunky to make larger photos of the map.
Trailers videos are created with iMovie and the music is composed with Logic Pro X on Mac.
Regarding the resource pack we use the paint.NET software for 2D textures and BDcraftCubik Pro or BlockBench for 3D.
We do not hide behind the ambition that is this project, especially when it is a totally free work for people.

Hi, it's been a week since the "Across The Time 2 - Time For Regrets" map was released. We have received quite a bit of feedback regarding bugs and balancing issues.
So we have decided to make an update available.
This version 1.0.1 improves the font rendering, balances Dahäl spells and fixes some bugs (you will find details here :

Additions and Improvements:
- Some alteration spells now produce permanent particles on the player for the time the spell is applied depending on their level.
- The font of the resource pack has been improved.
Balancing:
- The number of skill points needed to increase Dahäl's regain has been increased a bit.
- The number of skill points needed to increase movement speed has been reduced a bit.
- "Soquai" torrent slimes no longer appear before starting the "Budding Archaeologist" side quest.
- The power of the spells "Explosive trap", "Power ray" and "Swarm arrows" has been increased in the last levels, but their number of use to evolve as well as the consumption in Dahäl has been increased.
- The power of "Wolf" and "Golem" spells has been increased overall, but their number of uses to evolve as well as the consumption of Dahäl has been increased.
- The number of uses to evolve as well as the consumption in Dahäl of the spell "Earthquake", "Thunder", "Absorption" and "Bait" has been increased in the last levels.

- After completing the quest for "Aldelrion", "Rodmat" boss spawns without dying automatically when the player goes into the arena to kill him again.
- The message "not enough Chronotons" no longer appears after validating the transaction with an innkeeper and the NPC "Negan Greyson".
- The display of the percentage of total completion of the map in the "Consciousness" book is displayed correctly when several players are connected.
- If the player does not want to help the NPC "Chiara", now she is definitely fleeing her house.
- Numerous fixes have been made to Dahäl spells.
- The NPC "Garry Traskel" no longer returns his quest by talking to him again.

How much RAM do you have to allocate for your game? It's not a broken resource pack, it's just heavy enough to load the music.
In short, it is recommended to 4GB of Ram as well as to wait 30 seconds for the resource pack to be loaded.
Additions and Improvements:
- New players can now join a game already started by other players on the server (Maximum 5 players).
- A security system is now enable if any new player connects to the server when the game has already been started.
- Some secret chests have been added.
- During the introduction, the first combat cinematic has been shortened and it is possible to skip the first dialogue between "S" and the player.
Balancing:
- Boss "Doom" is less aggressive but his resistance is slightly increased, and when the player falls from the arena he no longer dies every time.
- Boss "Ted" is faster and Skrappy's progenies is more powerful.
- Boss "Blobby" does less damage.
- Some chests have been modified to contain more items, especially those hidden by crumbly blocks or solid ice.
- "Stray" entities now have a little less resistance and movement speed.
- "Vindicator" entities now have a higher movement speed.
Bug fix:
- The main NPCs during certain cutscenes in Angband appear normally.
- Player invicibility security during intro no longer remains enabled when the player has started the game and another player logs in.
- The achievements "Lost Island", "Salmon tasty" and "Dahäl Master" can now be unlocked.
Miscellaneous:
- Some dialogs have been corrected.
- Blocks have been added in some places to prevent the player from getting stuck.

Hey, we made two more hotfixes with some balancing, bug fixing as well as the addition in the download of the "Lite" version of our resource pack. So here we are with version 1.0.4 of Across The Time 2.
Additions and Improvements:
- The compressed file now also contains a "Lite" version of the resource pack to allow players to change it if Minecraft crashes.
Balancing:
- The number of particles in the "Vonaheim" dungeon from the puzzle of the wind throwing the player into the void no longer correlates with the number of connected players.
- The speed of levitation in space has been increased a bit.
- The number of Exploit points required to obtain "Ultima" has been reduced to 4500.
Bug fix:
- It is no longer possible to kill boss "Umbra'Tyanth" before it has completed its first phase.
Miscellaneous:
- Some dialogs have been corrected.

Additions and Improvements:
- Reward chests have been added to the end of the "Myrath", "Käron", "Golem", "Miehanov", "Naër", "Aozathreyon" bosses.
- Ender chests have been added to some boss reward rooms.
Balancing:
- The "Doom" boss is a little less resistant and if the player forgets to pick up the "Medallion", he has a chance to drop it again provided he has completed the "Jzargo" quest.
- The cooldown of the spells "Spectral Axe" and "Spectral Bow" has been slightly increased and it is now impossible to accumulate weapons in the inventory when the spell is at level 6.
Bug fix:
- It is no longer possible to get absorbed more quest items than necessary when several players are positioned on the gold pressure plate.
- When several players push the Slime block at the same time in a Billgart riddle, it no longer disappears.
- Battle sound no longer plays after killing a boss.

We are finally approaching a new big step in the development of Across The Time 2: the update 2.0.
It has been 6 months since the map was released and we were working on developing an upgrade from the 1.13.2 map to the 1.17 version of Minecraft. Basically, we only wanted to do a functional update for the latest versions of Minecraft, but over time we made the choice to add content like new mechanics.
In this update 2.0 a lot of improvements and balances have been made to the game as well as to the resource pack.
To illustrate all of these changes, here is a photo showing some of the equipment.
As you can see, we have chosen a new font that is much more readable than the previous one that many players had complained about.
You will also notice the addition of a new class of weapons and armor "Obsidian" as well as a new category of weapons "Spears".
There will be no less than 150 new items. with new monsters, achievements, visual effects, and even new music and a new difficulty.
In short there will of course be many other things, this is only a small preview of the improvements to come. All the details will be included in the patch note (we are not sharing it yet because it is still subject to change).
These changes will be in addition to the improvements made with version 1.1.0 (which could not be uploaded due to some problems with mechanisms that have become obsolete in version 1.16.5 of Minecraft) which the patch notes already have been shared here:

Lately, one of the notable improvements of this update is the performance. From now on there will be no more resource pack lite, only one resource pack will be enough to run the map according to the configurations of each one. Indeed with Minecraft 1.17, the loads will be much faster and smoother than during 1.13.2, which also means that there will be no more freeze when loading music on the map
So in all hundreds of improvements, additions, balances as well as dozens of bugs that will be effective with this new update 2.0 of Across The Time 2.
Unfortunately, players who have already started the map in 1.13.2 will not be able to save their progress on this new version available in Minecraft 1.17. Too many major changes was implemented with this new update and it will therefore be mandatory to start a new game if you want to benefit from any improvements.
But if one day we bring new content, know that thanks to 1.17 you will no longer have to restart the game from the beginning (this is also why we wanted to make this upgrade in version 1.17 of Minecraft, it allows even more freedom). Indeed in the next versions after 2.0 you will only have to place the correct folders of the new map in the old one without losing your progress.
Regarding a release date, for the moment we do not prefer to communicate one, but it will arrive shortly. Mojang has indeed officially announced the release of the last official version of Minecraft 1.17, it will be on June 8, 2021! They have just released their fifth pre-release of version 1.17 and the tests already carried out on it are very conclusive. In short, it's a story of a few weeks, so be prepared...
Hey! The new Across The time 2 map update 2.0.0 is now available for Minecraft 1.17.
Lots of content, balances and bug fixes have been made, not to mention that the game has been optimized under the very latest version of Minecraft.
Thanks to this new port to 1.17 and the performance gains we were able to afford to add more gameplay content as well as environment.
Attention, as indicated in our previous article, this update is only available in version 1.17 of Minecraft, which means that the old versions of the map are obsolete. You will therefore have to restart the map entirely if you want to benefit from the latest changes made to this version.

Additions and Improvements:
- The map is now fully and only playable in the latest version of Minecraft: "1.17".
- New textures have been added to the resource pack which has been updated for the latest version of Minecraft.
- Over 150 new items (Potions, Weapons and Armor) of different rarities (Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Sovereign, Legendary) have been added and distributed in certain dimensions of the game.

If you started the map in 1.17 and want to have these changes, you can simply copy the version 2.0.1 "datapack" folder and paste it in place of the version 2.0.0 folder. (In case you make these changes, still make a backup of your map)

During this summer, we still made many tests in order to detect further points to improve for the map.
Two months after the release of the biggest update in 1.17, we are therefore making another update, less substantial in content but which involves some changes and many balances or fixes.
It will be, in a way, an update for die-hard collectors.
Indeed, this new version 2.1.0 brings a whole new functionality: the random sale of items at merchants.
All these items (Armor, Weapons, Potions) can be purchased from blacksmiths or alchemists.
But also, we are bringing a new category of Exploits called "Collection". This category will be consistent because it will list all the items in the game that can be looted or purchased (except "Sovereign" items).
With this update we have also optimized the "Datapack" so that the map requires less RAM to run.
Also, we did some balancing of the difficulty of certain bosses, the price of certain items and the loot table. We also fixed many exploits as well as the entire French dialogues.
Regarding the many other details of balances and fixes, we advise you to read the patch note available below.
This update is playable with version 1.17.1 of Minecraft.

Additions and Improvements:
- The "Datapack" has been optimized, and the map or server now use less RAM to operate.
- Added a new random "purchase system" for merchants (Armor, Weapons, Potions) which re-initializes every 30 minutes. All items and all rarities can be offered (depending on the seller).
- NPC "Vulk" now sells "Billgart" items after completing his side quest, and NPC "Emera Palundra" now sells bows and crossbows.
- A new category of "Exploits" named "Collection" has been added. This contains the list of all the items of the game that can be found in a loot table (this therefore excludes "Sovereign" items).
- More than 20 new "Exploits" concerning skills have been added including new "Exploits" concerning obsidian armor, arrows and Asunark turquoise stone.
- Some wall weapon racks have been added in Ryliath Hero's House.
- The effect of the mythical weapon "Ultima" has been improved.
- The "Creeper" and "Skeletons" have a new texture.
Balancing:
- On the black market the purchase price of high rarity items has been increased a lot.
- The drop rate of arrows from enemies and chests has been reduced.
- The potions drop rate has been further reduced on entities (the LUCK effect no longer affects entities at all).
- The selling price of potions has been further adjusted.
- The purchase price of "Ecailles Souveraines du Chaos" against Chronotons, after the end of the main quest, has been halved from 250 to 125.
- The drop rate of "Ecailles Souveraines du Chaos" has been slightly reduced.
- The size and movement speed of "Slimes" have been reduced.
- The repair rate of weapons and armor has been increased overall and balanced according to the category of the item. Also epic and legendary set armor can now be repaired.
- The price of repairing legendary items has been increased from 500 to 750 Chronotons.
- The price of the "Thunder" spell has been increased.
- The "Bastion" shield for sale against "Ecailles Souveraines du Chaos" at the NPC "Sirna Kho" has been changed from 5 to 10.
- The purchase of the last 2 upgrades of the spell "Stock" is now unlocked for all players.
- The bet at 2500 Chronotons with the NPC "Charles" has more chances to offer better items.
- Gold weapons are no longer automatically repaired by a multiplicative relative to the number of players connected.
- The higher level of "Stock" spell as well as the purchase of the additional level against Chronotons are unlocked earlier in the game.
- The skill effects of some weapons and armor have been adjusted as well as the power of the effects of throwing potions has been slightly increased.
- The durability of netherite weapons has been reduced a bit.
- The difficulty has been slightly increased in "Master" and "Nightmare" for the bosses "Geström" and "Elevator".
- Players are now teleported out of the arena if all golems die during the "Elevator" boss.
- The "Somniophage" boss can now be repeatedly killed. In addition to the victory of the boss, items falling to infinity are teleported to the center of the arena.
- The boss "François" absorbs more health when he is close to the player but the time of this phase has been reduced and the players are also teleported down if they stay high.
- The difficulty of the bosses "Subjects", "Scavenger" and "Kum" has been slightly increased.

Bug fix:
- In Ouranos, it is no longer possible for items to duplicate from chests cast with the "Stock" spell.
- In the "Nightmare" difficulty, it is now impossible to no longer lose Chronotons by dying according to certain situations.
- The skill effects of all equipment sets are now active on the player if fully equipped. The "Exploits" of the sets concerned are also unlocked.
- Skill effects of equipment from the "Otaurian" set found on armor racks now work.
- "Creepers" no longer do ground effects when they explode.
- The level 7 of the spell "Tiid Klu Ui" is no longer validated directly after passing level 6.
- The "Barbarian" NPC behaves normally again in front of the "Jarat" camp.
- The NPCs "Gregor Gacko", "Tyrgols Gacko" and "Alphonse" are now susceptible to destruction magic if they become hostile.
- The player is no longer blocked in front of a guard in "Kortaek" if he meets the village chief beforehand.
- The continuation of the main quest in Billgart's Dimension normally triggers when the player quickly passes through the portal.
- The mythical weapons "Lost Past" and "War Lord" again have their descriptions under their name.

this map looks awesome. for some reason, when i click on the world, it says "errors in currently selected data packs prevented the world from loading. You can either try it with only the vanilla data pack ('safe mode') or go back to the title screen and fix it manually"?
Hello everyone, after a few months of absence and an article accompanied by not very encouraging information, we are back this time with very good news!
Indeed, we found and took the time to release the new 2.2.0 update on the Across The Time 2 map.
Of course, time is not the only cause, motivation too! Donations continuing to arrive despite our last news, new people arriving on our Discord discovering our work, of course the new Minecraft update 1.18 pointing the tip of its nose, but also gameplay improvements waiting for its implementation since a few months, and finally our dear PumpKingFR continuing to work on the Ultimate ATT2 guide (available in BETA FR version here).
Many of these parameters have made this update possible.
Initially, thought for minor changes, it finally acquired the status of "major" given the new elements brought to the timelines.
The title of this article will make sense when you read the sequel and the accompanying patch note.
Indeed, one of the major additions of this update is that we have listed all the secrets of the map. This has created a whole new category of Achievements called "Secret" with additional experience rewards when the player discovers the many secrets of the map (some hidden behind the ice have even been added).
But that's not all, the great novelty of 1.18 was to add verticality to Minecraft. Indeed, there has been an expansion of the possibility of building 64 blocks from the bottom and the same from the top. That is to say that we gained 128 of verticality (y axis) in total, and you have surely guessed which dimension benefited from it (see the presentation photo)...
Yes, now Ouranos has the true appearance of what we had originally imagined. The illusion of verticality and immensity of this dimension is even more marked. Please note that this does not mean that this is an enlargement of the playable area, but simply of the viewing distance showing even more than before the repetitiveness of the dimension.
Other visual additions have also been made to certain caves in Sylberländ.
But to end with the major additions, this is a gameplay element. Indeed, a temperature parameter is now present in various areas of the Tellurön dimension.
Depending on the condition of certain biomes such as the snowy mountains of Elcheol, the desert of Kert or Nojélanth, the volcano, etc., the player may suffer several penalties depending on the intensity and the number of clothes he will wear on him.
It's an element that adds a bit of difficulty in certain areas of the game that we found a little too easy.
More details about other minor additions can be found in the patch note below. You'll also see some balancing changes including the HUN ability effect has been nerfed quite a bit.
Of course, we also fixed quite a few bugs.
In short, we hope you will enjoy this update. Unfortunately the map is now only playable with the latest version of Minecraft 1.18.2, these changes are not compatible with older versions of the map.

Additions and Improvements:
- The map and its resource-pack have been updated and is now only playable on the latest version 1.18.2 of Minecraft.
- The depth of field of the "Ouranos" dimension has been doubled. Now the player has greater visibility of the vertical dimension repeat.
- Some new vegetation has been added in a few biomes.
- "Chronoton" coins on ground are now directly absorbed near the player even if their inventory is full.
- Miscellaneous items can now be sold in units or in stacks for 2 Chronotons per food item and 1 Chronoton per normal arrow.
- In the mountains of "Elcheol", a more significant and progressive "cold" penalty applies depending on the altitude where the player is.
- In the desert of "Kert" and "Nojelanth", a more or less powerful "heat" malus applies depending on the altitude and the location.
- The "cold" and "heat" penalties apply to various ability effects (HUN, DAR, HER, SPD, HAS). These effects can be reduced whether or not the player wears a full set of equipment or leather clothing and can be canceled if he carries the Mythical weapon "Fenrir" concerning cold and "Kinuil" concerning heat.
- Extra food has been added to the rewards of some quests.
- A new tab in the advancements containing around thirty "Exploits" has been added. They list the many secrets found across all dimensions.
- The long dialogues of the main quest all now have a way to quickly skip them.
- Added an option in the book "Conscience" on page 9 of the tutorial, it sends a random message revealing a trick more or less useful for new players.
- Some secrets of chests hidden behind ice have been added.
Balancing:
- Hunger skill effect "HUN" has been nerfed. Now it is more difficult to recover in saturation by increasing this stat.
- The HER ability effect has been increased as a bonus and a penalty.
- The spawn frequency of some monsters in "Angor Palace" has been decreased.
- The "Frenzy" attack and the last phase of the "Serile" boss are more dangerous. "Serile" indeed becomes much faster and more powerful during this phase.
- The boss "La Flamme Noire" is a little more resistant from the "Veteran" difficulty and the boss "Käron" has two additional minions that spawn at the start of the fight.
- The power of the mythical bow "Warlord" has been increased.
- The number of chests to open, needed to unlock their Exploit has been adjusted.
- The total number of Exploits has been adjusted and now stands at 9120 points.
Bug fix:
- Entities no longer spawn infinitely on the NPC "Babbu" when the player has given him more than 2500 Chronotons and is at a certain distance from him.
- The help indicator for the secondary quest concerning Namrïn now points to the correct position of the NPC.
- "Namrïn" NPC no longer has a chance of not appearing in front of the Exiles camp when the player is following it.
- If the player does not have time to get out of the cloud towards the passage of the third tower of "Ouranos", he is no longer TP in a loop while getting stuck.
- Fireballs no longer cause the player to jump high above a certain level of spell power.
- The indications of the bells of "Ouran" boss now remain activated indefinitely as long as the player has not shooted them.
- The shortcut when exiting the boss "Ulkoggumi" no longer opens so that the player cannot chain kill him too quickly.
- Alderion now automatically takes the legendary axe "Nekr Al Felèsil" from the player's hands.

The ultimate update "The Final Challenge" v3.0.0 of "Across The Time 2" is finally here!
This final release marks the end of a great adventure, indeed this update will be the last major one. From now on, we don't just have a simple Minecraft "map" but a fully-fledged game, everything we dreamed of doing on Minecraft!
The v3.0.0 is distinguished by these 3 styles of challenge: combat, parkour, exploration. Indeed, there is now new content challenging players on these 3 aspects.
- Combat:
A final test, with consecutive arenas to challenge the toughest players in combat, has appeared. This consists of 5 tournaments to be completed in one go (with however breaks and rewards between each tournament).
- Parkour:
A timed parkour test, allowing the player to measure his time and also earn rewards if he beats a certain time, has been added.
- Exploration:
Over a thousand "Adventquest" exploration symbols have been scattered all over the map. The player will therefore have the possibility of collecting them and will unlock additional "Exploits" for each region completed.
To introduce these new challenges, at the end of the game, a great final side quest will close the story of the hero of Across The time 2.
During this new quest, the player will have to face bitter memories. This is why new areas, modified music and NPCs are appearing.
New mythical rewards are also added, including exceptionally an entire mythical armor set, and also a weapon that can only be purchased by the wealthiest...
Of course, there are still plenty of other additions which are detailed in the "changelog".
Also, balancing has been implemented in this latest version. The rate of experience to gain to level up has been changed a bit to balance the increase in the number of Achievements.
A balance expected by players has also been made: now the repair rate of items at blacksmiths is higher.
Lots of other balancing as well as many major and minor bugs have been fixed.
Aside from all these major changes, 3.0.0 is officially the update with full Chinese translation.
Not only has the resource pack been updated, but the map is also available with the latest Minecraft version 1.19.2.
We have finally reached the end of what we have imagined since the beginning and we are extremely proud of it. But without you, this probably wouldn't have happened. Thanks to all your support, we were able to find the motivation to reach the end of this fantastic adventure.
Of course, this doesn't mark the end of everything, the website will be back soon after a big maintenance problem, and we will surely continue to fix some bugs if there are any, but it will only concern minor updates.

Additions and Improvements: - The map and its resource pack have been updated and are now only playable with the latest 1.19.2 version of Minecraft. - It is now possible to choose a new language option in addition to the one already offered in "French" or "English". Indeed, the map has been fully translated into "Chinese" and can now be played in this language. - A final sidequest closing the hero story of Across The time 2 has been added. This quest will automatically activate after completing the main quest. - During this new quest the player will have to face painful memories. Therefore new areas, modified music and NPCs have been added. - A final test made of consecutive arenas to challenge the toughest players has been added. It consists of 5 tournaments to be completed in one go (with breaks and rewards between each tournament). - Each tournament is composed of several randomly defined arenas that follow each other. The player will have to complete a total of 10 arenas to complete the 5 tournaments. - The 1st tournament consists of 4 out of 5 arenas, each of which sends 4 different waves of simple lackeys. - The 2nd tournament consists of 3 arenas out of 7, each sending a wave of 3 bosses and a few lackeys. - The 3rd tournament has 2 arenas out of 3, each sending a wave of 6 bosses with more or less powerful lackeys. - The 4th tournament has 1 arena sending a wave of 20 bosses with many powerful lackeys. - The 5th and final tournament has 1 final arena with a final boss. - A huge reward will be available at the end of the event with also the possibility to find the unique mythical armor set "Hermetic". - The "Hermetic" set is composed of the entire armour equipment, each of which has a 1/4 chance of being dropped at the end of the event (only one set can be completed in its entirety). - The effect of the complete set gives 1 point to all abilities but the player will not be able to jump anymore and like all mythical weapons it will consume Dahäl. - A time trial with a timer for part of the quest has been added to allow the player to measure their parkour time and also earn rewards if they beat a certain time. - Two new battle music have been added. - A new gameplay element has been added regarding exploration. Indeed, more than a thousand of "Adventquest" exploration symbols have been scattered all over the map. The player will be able to collect them and unlock additional "Exploits" for each completed region. Also, each symbol collected will give Chronotons. - A new "Combo" system has been added. This will be effective for players reaching level 50, and will determine the number of consecutive kills the player makes. Indeed, the more enemies the player kills quickly, the more experience bonus he will gain. - A new "Mythical" item has been added, it can be purchased from blacksmith "Vulk" after the end of the game for an astronomical sum. - It is now possible to change difficulty from the consciousness book only if the player did not choose the "Nightmare" difficulty at the beginning of the game or if he is not in a boss arena. - The full set bonus of set items is now displayed in the description. - Added 2 new panoramas "Nojelanth desert" and "Nojelanth forest". - In the hero's house of Ryliath it is possible for the hero to give himself the mythical sword "Fortuity". - Almost 100 new Exploits have been added.
Balancing : - Player leveling has been balanced to take into account all experience rewards added with the many "Exploits". Also, experience for gaining "Master" levels has been balanced. - Panoramas can now be re-triggered whenever the player wants if they leave and return to the area where the panorama is located. - The item repair rate at blacksmiths has been increased. - The "Felroth", "Miehanov", "Vonaheim", "Ulkoggumi", "Naer" bosses are a little more resistant, especially for the "Apprentice" difficulty. - The mythical weapon "Fortuity" drops more experience depending on the player's level. - The mythical weapon "Kinuil" has ten times more chance of being dropped in the last bet at 2500 Chronotons. - The boss rewards have been adjusted according to the chosen difficulty. - The bees in the boss "Hive" no longer loot anything, however the reward at the end has been increased. - Some food has been added to Hill Valley for the introduction. - Some Exploits rewards have been adjusted. - The drop rate of the legendary item "Nekr al Felèvsil" from the secondary quest "Memories from outer-time" upon the death of the boss "Rodmat" has been increased. - Trembling no longer activate when the player is on a horse. - The selling price of "Jorïn" has been slightly increased. - The coloured rays indicating the rarity of an item on the ground has been adjusted. If the player reaches the maximum number of achievement points he will unlock the "God Mode".
Bug fix: - A major bug in the game's armour has been fixed. Indeed the "Toughness" was not well taken into account. From now on, the player will resist a little better to all damages if he puts armors with a higher toughness. - When the player enters in "Billgart" dimension, he will no longer occasionally be teleported to the start of the game at "Hill Valley". - The secret chest indexing system now works for all hidden chests on the map. - If the player exceeds the max level of the HUN stat, the bonus is no longer inactive. - In the last Elytra flight test in Uranos the player is no longer blocked if he fails a first time. - Boss "Miehanov" and "Vonaheim" can no longer be defeated by knocking them out of the arena with the mythical weapon "Sästr". - The NPC quest "Garret Temeral" can no longer be failed if the player has already completed it. - Emerald's first quest can no longer be blocked if the player opens the passage before talking to the NPC. - Etotsira now reappears every time at home after his fight against the player. - The "Asurok" boss no longer has a chance of dying directly when the player enters his arena. - The "Full obsidian!" exploit can now be unlocked. - Fixed "the destructor" exploit by adding all killable and quantified mobs. - If the player leaves or does not respond to Ouran in the arena, the dialogue proposals can now reappear.

After two years of operating Across The Time, we have decided to release an ultimate update for Minecraft version 1.19.4.
For those who are not aware, Minecraft is preparing for version 1.20, and the latest version released announced quite a few new features for mapmakers. Although we didn’t take advantage of these technical innovations 100%, as it would require a lot of work, we were able to improve Dahäl’s spells, which finally calculate the number of victims.
So, we have evolved some systems, fixed some bugs, and even added some gameplay elements. For example, we added a new category of enemy, the “super elite,” or a system of evolution for the blacksmith that unlocks as the player buys or repairs items.

The 3.2.0 update officially releases on April 8, 2023, also to celebrate a community that is only growing. Yes, we have crossed the 1000-member mark on our Discord!

We thought we wouldn’t release any more updates with additional content, but the Minecraft developers still surprise us with some small surprises. It was impossible for us, with a map of such potential as “Across The Time 2,” to leave everything aside.

Additions and Improvements:
- The map and its resource-pack have been updated and is now only playable with the latest version 1.19.4 of Minecraft.
- Added a new category of enemy: the "super elite". They are more lively and powerful than other enemies but give greater rewards.
- Added a blacksmith evolution system set to 5 levels in total. These levels are unlocked when the player buys items or repairs them.
- Each level of blacksmithing unlocks an additional ability to sell weapons or armor and increases the repair rate of items.
- Some secret chests accessible in Elytra (especially in Angband) have been added in certain places.
- All chests in the game that can be opened now have particles of different colors depending on their accessibility.
- The second phase of "Ouran" boss has its own music.
- The player's game time now starts counting when he clicks on the button to start the map, and it will be displayed at the end of the main quest just before the credits.
- Added many other miscellaneous "Exploits" in different categories that can now be unlocked.
Balancing:
- If a new player not registered in the game joins a game, a message is now displayed to specify that all players who started the adventure must be currently connected.
- Dahäl's "Destruction" spells have been smoothed in their damage according to the evolution of their power level.
- The damage of the "Shake" spell has been increased.
- The effect of the "Tiid Klo Ul" spell has been increased.
- The effects of "Axe and Bow Spectral" summoning spells have been increased.
- The cooldown of the "Healing" spell has been slightly increased.
- The effects of the "Berserk" spell have been increased.
- When the player sleeps at innkeepers now food saturation is regenerated in addition to life.
- The number of bosses to be killed to unlock the last Achievement "Boss Genocider" has been decreased to 250.
- The number of Exploits needed to obtain the mythical weapon "Ultima" has been increased to 10000.
- The maximum number of "Exploits" points has been increased and is now 15290.
Bug fix:
- Entities killed by players with Dahäl's spells and legendary weapon special effects are now counted in the statistics.
- In multiplayer, other players can now automatically join the final combat arena.
- If the player fights the "Owlkärr" boss again before depositing the time gem, he will no longer be blocked in the main quest.
- In "Billgart" it is no longer possible for the main quest to reset automatically.
- Two of the Eternän soldiers in the Exiles camp can now respond to the player.
- "Exploits" for final arena completions can now be unlocked.
Miscellaneous:
- Various minor bugs have been fixed.

No one was expecting it, but you're not dreaming; one of the biggest updates 4.0.0 for our map "Across The Time 2 - Time For Regrets" is being released today! We hadn't planned to expand and improve it, especially almost 3 years after its release, but it turns out that we had bursts of motivation and a wild idea for a major map improvement.
Indeed, this update, called "Secret of the Runes," introduces a new central gameplay system that significantly enhances player features that haven't been touched so far. Now, throughout the dimensions of "Across The Time 2", you will find over 27 runes with different rarities that can be combined to form "runic words." Once placed, these runic words will grant you feature improvements such as additional hearts, increased Chronoton and Experience drop rates, and more.
To craft these runic words, you can now create recipes using a container, and you will have the opportunity to craft other specific recipes that offer additional surprises.
But the additions don't stop there. You'll have to discover a massive secret dungeon hidden deep within the region of Sylberländ. This new endgame content will challenge you to uncover a special reward: the mythical spell "Secret Seeker." It will help you uncover all the secret locations on the map to make completing 100% of the map easier. This spell was created by a community member who loved our work, "Orian34".
Originally intended for the latest version of our map, we decided to implement it in this update because it brought interesting content.
There are still other additions, but to be honest, this is one of the largest updates, if not the largest, that we've ever made. We say this not only because there are many additions but also because we have never adjusted the map's balance as much in a post-BETA update as we have in this one.
As you can see in the patch notes available here, thanks to the bonuses from runic words, we had to rework many gameplay systems such as experience gain for level progression, certain abilities, monster spawn rates, death penalties, item values in shops, and more. Many bugs have also been fixed. For more details on the update, we recommend reading the patch notes below.
This update was made for Minecraft version 1.20.2. The resource pack had to be modified, and some changes were also made.

Additions and Improvements:
- The map and its resource pack have been updated, and this new version is now only playable with the latest version 1.20.2 of Minecraft.
- Added a new gameplay system: runic words. Once completed, these runic words, composed of “runes”, can offer new exclusive bonuses for all players: Extra Heart, Dahäl Max, Chronoton and Experience Gain Rate, Decreased Spell Cooldown Rate, Increased spell damage, Increased Boss Drop Rate.
- Added 26 Runes that can be dropped in different locations in the game (chests, elites, bosses). Of various rarities, level and tiers, they are used to compose runic words.
- Added a rune room behind the NPC "Kelmya" in Ryliath where runic words can be crafted and stored.
- Added a container with a maximum of 5 slots for creating recipes that give various rewards in exchange (runic words, runes, ESC, etc.).
- Added a new page in the "Consciousness" book dedicated to runic words as well as the list of available recipes.
- Added, as a reward for a special recipe, the mythical potion "Elixir Vitae" whose numerous effects can last 1 hour.
- Added a large secret dungeon hidden in the depths of Sylberländ, with no secondary quests associated, but an NPC will give hints to players to access it.
- Added, as a reward for the new secret dungeon boss, the mythical spell "Secret Seeker" allowing you to discover all the secrets of the map.
- Added over 200 chests and 35 additional hidden symbols.
- Added runic ores that give a chance to obtain runes and can be collected by hand throughout the Sylberländ region.
- Added a "Recycler" level system that evolves depending on the number of items that have been sold by the player (the higher the level, the more expensive the items can be sold).
- Added a level of the storage spell, automatically unlocked by the NPC "Ithil", before opening the portal to the dimension of "Billgart".
- Added the possibility of forcing the reset of the lists of items for sale in stores against 250 "Chronotons".
- Added many new achievements related to runes and runic words.
- Added the "Eternan" level for players exceeding 300 "Master" levels (the "Eternan" level is infinite but only earns one skill point at each level).
Balancing:
- The "combos" system has been balanced and is now initialized at the start of the game for all players.
- The luck statistic "LUC" and strength "STR" can now be increased by two additional levels. However, it will require spending more skill points in the Consciousness book to unlock them.
- The final levels of strength will progress less exponentially in power, allowing more flexibility in designing an equipment set based on strength.
- The final levels of movement speed "SPD" will cost slightly more skill points.
- The final levels of Dahäl "DAR" regeneration will cost slightly more skill points.
- The regeneration rate of Dahäl's effect has been generally decreased.
- The gain of extra hearts at each level has been shifted to higher levels.
- The number of experience needed to gain a level has been further increased overall.
- The frequency of automatic spawning of enemies has been increased a bit.
- Tip messages now appear in the chat every 15 minutes automatically and can be disabled through an option in the "Consciousness" book.
- The mythical weapon "Interfacer" no longer jams, and the player can shoot as long as there are ammunition in the left hand.
- Player fatigue from using lances has been slightly increased.
- The number of "Slime" to kill for the quest from "Garry Traskel" has been reduced to 10.
- The health point of the boss "La Flamme Noire" has been reduced a little.
- Legendary gold weapons now have a slightly lower self-repair frequency.
- The price of house extensions has been increased slightly.
- The sale price of items has been balanced to evolve according to the level of the "Recycler".

- Many bugs preventing the completion of certain Achievements have been fixed.
- The boss "Karon" once again drops items as a reward for defeating it.
- It is no longer possible to be pushed back when climbing the Soquaï waterfall.
- The player can now receive the "Chronotons" reward if they choose to return the "Trias" bow as their second option.
- Certain Billgart dimension checkpoints will no longer bring the player back to "Ryliath."
- The player can now, if he fails, exit the final arena and return to Sylberländ.

But in this new peaceful life, evil resurfaced. It eats you away since you drank the source of corruption in the Kingdom of Angband in the old days.
Across The Time 2 is just like the previous one : a RPG Adventure style map PVE with a multiplayer mode: from 1 to 5 players.
Your path will be full of pitfalls and the monsters you meet will always be more powerful than the previous. Normal Mobs like the elites will have a level system according to the player’s power. Like that, improvement and progression will sound even more attractive.
The player will have the ability to increase the power thanks to the experience, chests or quest rewards.

- Dahäl max,
- Skill points.
But we have not neglected the end-game because after this maximum level, additional ranks called "MASTER" can still be won.
So the player can continue to evolve and increase in power even after completing the main quest.
During your adventure, you must travel through a very large area, and you will also meet many NPCs.

In order to increase your will of traveling to faraway places, the Exploits system resurfaced.
During your adventure in Across The Time 2 you will be accompanied by more than secondary objectives whose display is directly linked to the game in the menu.
In addition a new system of Exploit was realized: the Panorama. You can be an explorer and discover all the places and beautiful views of the area.
Through the side quests you will talk to people, conversations during which you will have several choices to make.
Those choices will have an influence on the reactions and the awards you can get. A reputation’s counter will constantly calculate: if you do good you will be rewarded in a very distinctive way than is you do absolute evil around you.
– « STR » Physical strength and the damage he will do with the hand weapons and arcs.
– « RES » The resistance to the physical damage of enemies.
– « HAS » The strike rate of CaC weapons and not ranged weapons.
– « SPD » The movement speed.
– « HER » Health generation.
– « DAR » The rate of Dahäl regeneration points.
– « LUC » The ability to find rarer magic items.
– « HUN » The saturation of the player’s hunger bar.
Obviously this won’t be free, in order to unlock abilities you will hate to spend your experience points.
The player can choose different difficulties: "Apprentice", "Veteran", "Master".
The price of death will be calculated by a percentage of Chronotons according to the chosen difficulty. If you play in a great difficulty you may lose experience.
If you die, your body will reappear on the last checkpoint you checked. You must not forget to validate them since most of them won’t be automatic.
In the kingdom of Sylberländ you will find multitude of items of all kinds and especially some to kit you out to fight evil :
Weapons (bow, sword, dagger, mace, axe) Armor (leather, gold, iron, diamonds) and shield.

Monsters will drop some coins whose number will vary according to their difficulty, and you will have to complete missions or sell the loot from a specialist dealer to gain Chronotons.

Hi, it's been a week since the "Across The Time 2 - Time For Regrets" map was released. We have received quite a bit of feedback regarding bugs and balancing issues.
So we have decided to make an update available.
This version 1.0.1 improves the font rendering, balances Dahäl spells and fixes some bugs (you will find details here :
Players who have already started the game can update their map without losing their progress by copying/pasting the "datapack" folder as well as the "resource pack".

I'm sorry, but uh, the resourcepack is extremely broken, every time i try to activate it (ingame and in the main menu of MC) it instantly crashes my game.
"We're all just stories in the end, just make it a good one, eh?" - The Doctor.
How much RAM do you have to allocate for your game? It's not a broken resource pack, it's just heavy enough to load the music.
In short, it is recommended to 4GB of Ram as well as to wait 30 seconds for the resource pack to be loaded.

We are finally approaching a new big step in the development of Across The Time 2: the update 2.0.
It has been 6 months since the map was released and we were working on developing an upgrade from the 1.13.2 map to the 1.17 version of Minecraft. Basically, we only wanted to do a functional update for the latest versions of Minecraft, but over time we made the choice to add content like new mechanics.
In this update 2.0 a lot of improvements and balances have been made to the game as well as to the resource pack.
To illustrate all of these changes, here is a photo showing some of the equipment.
As you can see, we have chosen a new font that is much more readable than the previous one that many players had complained about.
You will also notice the addition of a new class of weapons and armor "Obsidian" as well as a new category of weapons "Spears".
There will be no less than 150 new items. with new monsters, achievements, visual effects, and even new music and a new difficulty.
In short there will of course be many other things, this is only a small preview of the improvements to come. All the details will be included in the patch note (we are not sharing it yet because it is still subject to change).
These changes will be in addition to the improvements made with version 1.1.0 (which could not be uploaded due to some problems with mechanisms that have become obsolete in version 1.16.5 of Minecraft) which the patch notes already have been shared here:
Lately, one of the notable improvements of this update is the performance. From now on there will be no more resource pack lite, only one resource pack will be enough to run the map according to the configurations of each one. Indeed with Minecraft 1.17, the loads will be much faster and smoother than during 1.13.2, which also means that there will be no more freeze when loading music on the map
So in all hundreds of improvements, additions, balances as well as dozens of bugs that will be effective with this new update 2.0 of Across The Time 2.
Unfortunately, players who have already started the map in 1.13.2 will not be able to save their progress on this new version available in Minecraft 1.17. Too many major changes was implemented with this new update and it will therefore be mandatory to start a new game if you want to benefit from any improvements.
But if one day we bring new content, know that thanks to 1.17 you will no longer have to restart the game from the beginning (this is also why we wanted to make this upgrade in version 1.17 of Minecraft, it allows even more freedom). Indeed in the next versions after 2.0 you will only have to place the correct folders of the new map in the old one without losing your progress.
Regarding a release date, for the moment we do not prefer to communicate one, but it will arrive shortly. Mojang has indeed officially announced the release of the last official version of Minecraft 1.17, it will be on June 8, 2021! They have just released their fifth pre-release of version 1.17 and the tests already carried out on it are very conclusive. In short, it's a story of a few weeks, so be prepared...

Hey! The new Across The time 2 map update 2.0.0 is now available for Minecraft 1.17.
Lots of content, balances and bug fixes have been made, not to mention that the game has been optimized under the very latest version of Minecraft.
Thanks to this new port to 1.17 and the performance gains we were able to afford to add more gameplay content as well as environment.
Attention, as indicated in our previous article, this update is only available in version 1.17 of Minecraft, which means that the old versions of the map are obsolete. You will therefore have to restart the map entirely if you want to benefit from the latest changes made to this version.

Mojang very recently released Minecraft update 1.17.1. It is therefore with this version that we have updated the Across The Time 2 map.Version 2.0.1 is now available in 1.17.1. and whose changes are indicated below.

If you started the map in 1.17 and want to have these changes, you can simply copy the version 2.0.1 "datapack" folder and paste it in place of the version 2.0.0 folder. (In case you make these changes, still make a backup of your map)

this map looks awesome. for some reason, when i click on the world, it says "errors in currently selected data packs prevented the world from loading. You can either try it with only the vanilla data pack ('safe mode') or go back to the title screen and fix it manually"?
Hello everyone, after a few months of absence and an article accompanied by not very encouraging information, we are back this time with very good news!
Indeed, we found and took the time to release the new 2.2.0 update on the Across The Time 2 map.
Of course, time is not the only cause, motivation too! Donations continuing to arrive despite our last news, new people arriving on our Discord discovering our work, of course the new Minecraft update 1.18 pointing the tip of its nose, but also gameplay improvements waiting for its implementation since a few months, and finally our dear PumpKingFR continuing to work on the Ultimate ATT2 guide (available in BETA FR version here).
Many of these parameters have made this update possible.
Initially, thought for minor changes, it finally acquired the status of "major" given the new elements brought to the timelines.
The title of this article will make sense when you read the sequel and the accompanying patch note.
Indeed, one of the major additions of this update is that we have listed all the secrets of the map. This has created a whole new category of Achievements called "Secret" with additional experience rewards when the player discovers the many secrets of the map (some hidden behind the ice have even been added).
But that's not all, the great novelty of 1.18 was to add verticality to Minecraft. Indeed, there has been an expansion of the possibility of building 64 blocks from the bottom and the same from the top. That is to say that we gained 128 of verticality (y axis) in total, and you have surely guessed which dimension benefited from it (see the presentation photo)...
Yes, now Ouranos has the true appearance of what we had originally imagined. The illusion of verticality and immensity of this dimension is even more marked. Please note that this does not mean that this is an enlargement of the playable area, but simply of the viewing distance showing even more than before the repetitiveness of the dimension.
Other visual additions have also been made to certain caves in Sylberländ.
But to end with the major additions, this is a gameplay element. Indeed, a temperature parameter is now present in various areas of the Tellurön dimension.
Depending on the condition of certain biomes such as the snowy mountains of Elcheol, the desert of Kert or Nojélanth, the volcano, etc., the player may suffer several penalties depending on the intensity and the number of clothes he will wear on him.
It's an element that adds a bit of difficulty in certain areas of the game that we found a little too easy.
More details about other minor additions can be found in the patch note below. You'll also see some balancing changes including the HUN ability effect has been nerfed quite a bit.
Of course, we also fixed quite a few bugs.
In short, we hope you will enjoy this update. Unfortunately the map is now only playable with the latest version of Minecraft 1.18.2, these changes are not compatible with older versions of the map.

Hello everyone,
The ultimate update "The Final Challenge" v3.0.0 of "Across The Time 2" is finally here!
This final release marks the end of a great adventure, indeed this update will be the last major one. From now on, we don't just have a simple Minecraft "map" but a fully-fledged game, everything we dreamed of doing on Minecraft!
The v3.0.0 is distinguished by these 3 styles of challenge: combat, parkour, exploration. Indeed, there is now new content challenging players on these 3 aspects.
- Combat:
A final test, with consecutive arenas to challenge the toughest players in combat, has appeared. This consists of 5 tournaments to be completed in one go (with however breaks and rewards between each tournament).
- Parkour:
A timed parkour test, allowing the player to measure his time and also earn rewards if he beats a certain time, has been added.
- Exploration:
Over a thousand "Adventquest" exploration symbols have been scattered all over the map. The player will therefore have the possibility of collecting them and will unlock additional "Exploits" for each region completed.
To introduce these new challenges, at the end of the game, a great final side quest will close the story of the hero of Across The time 2.
During this new quest, the player will have to face bitter memories. This is why new areas, modified music and NPCs are appearing.
New mythical rewards are also added, including exceptionally an entire mythical armor set, and also a weapon that can only be purchased by the wealthiest...
Of course, there are still plenty of other additions which are detailed in the "changelog".
Also, balancing has been implemented in this latest version. The rate of experience to gain to level up has been changed a bit to balance the increase in the number of Achievements.
A balance expected by players has also been made: now the repair rate of items at blacksmiths is higher.
Lots of other balancing as well as many major and minor bugs have been fixed.
Aside from all these major changes, 3.0.0 is officially the update with full Chinese translation.
Not only has the resource pack been updated, but the map is also available with the latest Minecraft version 1.19.2.
We have finally reached the end of what we have imagined since the beginning and we are extremely proud of it. But without you, this probably wouldn't have happened. Thanks to all your support, we were able to find the motivation to reach the end of this fantastic adventure.
Of course, this doesn't mark the end of everything, the website will be back soon after a big maintenance problem, and we will surely continue to fix some bugs if there are any, but it will only concern minor updates.

Hello to the entire Adventquest community,
After two years of operating Across The Time, we have decided to release an ultimate update for Minecraft version 1.19.4.
For those who are not aware, Minecraft is preparing for version 1.20, and the latest version released announced quite a few new features for mapmakers. Although we didn’t take advantage of these technical innovations 100%, as it would require a lot of work, we were able to improve Dahäl’s spells, which finally calculate the number of victims.
So, we have evolved some systems, fixed some bugs, and even added some gameplay elements. For example, we added a new category of enemy, the “super elite,” or a system of evolution for the blacksmith that unlocks as the player buys or repairs items.

And of course, to download this new version, which unfortunately is retroactive, so only for a new adventure, you can do so on the Download page.
The 3.2.0 update officially releases on April 8, 2023, also to celebrate a community that is only growing. Yes, we have crossed the 1000-member mark on our Discord!

Hello everyone!
No one was expecting it, but you're not dreaming; one of the biggest updates 4.0.0 for our map "Across The Time 2 - Time For Regrets" is being released today! We hadn't planned to expand and improve it, especially almost 3 years after its release, but it turns out that we had bursts of motivation and a wild idea for a major map improvement.
Indeed, this update, called "Secret of the Runes," introduces a new central gameplay system that significantly enhances player features that haven't been touched so far. Now, throughout the dimensions of "Across The Time 2", you will find over 27 runes with different rarities that can be combined to form "runic words." Once placed, these runic words will grant you feature improvements such as additional hearts, increased Chronoton and Experience drop rates, and more.
To craft these runic words, you can now create recipes using a container, and you will have the opportunity to craft other specific recipes that offer additional surprises.
But the additions don't stop there. You'll have to discover a massive secret dungeon hidden deep within the region of Sylberländ. This new endgame content will challenge you to uncover a special reward: the mythical spell "Secret Seeker." It will help you uncover all the secret locations on the map to make completing 100% of the map easier. This spell was created by a community member who loved our work, "Orian34".
Originally intended for the latest version of our map, we decided to implement it in this update because it brought interesting content.
There are still other additions, but to be honest, this is one of the largest updates, if not the largest, that we've ever made. We say this not only because there are many additions but also because we have never adjusted the map's balance as much in a post-BETA update as we have in this one.
As you can see in the patch notes available here, thanks to the bonuses from runic words, we had to rework many gameplay systems such as experience gain for level progression, certain abilities, monster spawn rates, death penalties, item values in shops, and more. Many bugs have also been fixed. For more details on the update, we recommend reading the patch notes below.
This update was made for Minecraft version 1.20.2. The resource pack had to be modified, and some changes were also made.
