The map is based around Sound Effects In Minecraft, from Grass Blocks breaking or placing sounds, to mobs to even harder to tell sounds. The 14 major rooms are very much based around recognisable sounds to many players so it is achievable but the 11 Bonus Rooms are a bit out there and it can depend on the player's actions if they have ever heard such sounds before. Finally the map will end with 3 Observational Questions (typical in all my maps).
Map Requirement:
It is required/recommended to play this map with Chat Settings 'hidden' and Subtitles Off as this is cheating since the playsound command is displayed in the chat/command line. In the spawn room there is a test command block so you know if it's enabled still or not. In the Observation room I will have you re-enable your chat settings so you don't forget to change them back after the map is over since I thought it would be a smart idea since I know I would forget myself and thought it would be a good inclusion.
It is also required to play in survival as the stone pressure plates are not tagged so in adventure mode as tagging is required the map could be unplayable.
Random Idea I Came Up With Just Now As Of Typing This Thread Up, For 2 Players, A House Rules Like Idea Really:
If you are playing two player (which this map is made for 1 player but there is no commands disallowing 2 players, I'd be ok with the second player possibly allowing subtitles or chat settings on if they wanted to add more to the game or give hints between each other. Just thought I'd state this here if anyone wanted to add another layer to the map similar to how some add their own rules to a card or board game. :))
Map Goal:
The goal is to answer correctly to be rewarded with a Stone Pressure Plate to move on to the next room. You have 4 options to guess which is which. Around Major Room 9, the rooms will have signs above the blocks/items so you have to think about some things being simple like a Beacon Activated or Deactivated 2 option decision to make. Or others more particular on 3 around Swimming when rising up to the surface, diving underwater or swimming in the water with the 4 option being whatever the case may be for what it could sound like rather than related to the other 3. So the difficulties will range based on many factors of what it could sound similar to, make you think it sounds similar to, or just 2 or 3 commonly related to that train of thought.
Images are of Room 1, Room 9 when things change up a bit, Bonus Room 8 where incorrect answers can be placed since I don't have recycle bins in this map like I do Version Guesser. And the Observation Question room layouts.
Added the Chat Settings image to the Thread for proof of what I mean Players are required to change to play the map. You will be prompted to re-enable them in the End of the map so you don't forget to and since the end of the map 'Requires' you to have them on again for the Observational questions being displayed with the chat/commands so it's best to have them set to 'All' again.
