Hello and welcome to Version Guesser, a map that asks about Release, Beta, Seecret Friday Update & April Fools Updates with the questions relating to a year, items, blocks or features.
There is 13 major rooms with hints (in Beta), 2 Observational Rooms (a typical thing I do in every map of mine) and 15 Bonus Rooms (all rooms are part of the full Release version) with no hints and are just simple Version related questions compared to the 'Odd 1 Out or What Belongs' since I went into a transitional period when making my next map Sound Guesser to drop "that" format of questions.
The goal is to answer correctly to get a Stone Pressure Plate to open each Iron Door.
A I'm not one for tagging blocks in my maps since I'm learning too it is recommended to play in survival so you can play stone pressure plates, if your in adventure mode the map will/might be unplayable due to the mode using requiring tagged blocks/items/tools/weapons to use with such restrictions.
There is a range of questions either based on the 'Odd 1 Out', 'When A Feature was Implemented', 'The Year an Update Came Out' and so on possibilities. Sometimes you will get junk items instead of a Pressure Plate to signal that you answered incorrectly while other times it will just tell you some other responses instead for certain rooms where no items/blocks in item frames are present in that room (not counting the Clock on the wall).
Hints Are Only In The First 13 Rooms Of The Map, But What Do They Do Exactly?
There are Hint chests with hints written on the paper if you need a bit of help. Yes all questions can be answered on the Minecraft Wiki as I looked there to make all these questions for the map in the first place. So you can double check if I presented the question right while also cheating for the answer.
Answer Chests and Spawn pointing:
Some rooms have Answer Chests though above the Hint Chest encase you really need help more directly to straight up give away a deeper clue/spoil the answer. Use these only if necessary. There is also Beds and Command Blocks to set the day to Night for checkpointing if you want.
I am open to feedback at the moment no matter what the case even as the Release version is out now.
I do have images of the rooms/question presentation if you want to see on the Curseforge page (more images on Curseforge due to the 5 limitations on the forums, these new ones are of the bonus rooms), but otherwise I have the same ones here in this thread just in case.
