I'm so sorry! I said a couple months ago that I was going to make a Spaceport Alpha, but things happened and I completely forgot about it. However, I have 2 different versions of Snowball Valley that I have made within the past two years (one version is closer to DKR, but doesn't look as nice in my opinion and probably not large enough, the other is more recent, larger, has more of a natural look, and has another track alongside it). If you are still accepting new races, I can edit one of those to be Mario-Kart-In-Minecraft-compatible and submit it.

Yeah, I'm still accepting new tracks (despite what I said in the latest version's readme.txt)! With the recent burst of popularity from Pat's new video, I decided to re-open track submissions, as I'm sure some new tracks will start popping up again (and the awesome members of the NeoGames community are still making tracks as well). I intended v1.5.2 to be the final update, but there's some bugs with the newer features that I didn't find in testing so more map updates are eminent anyway
I'm almost done with my latest track, It's based off a track from an obscure-ish N64 game, I won't reveal which racing game it is yet. I Just have a couple of track Ideas for my next one. This might be considered attention seeking, but vote if your interested in seeing me do a certain one.
Give each idea a score from one to ten, here they are.
Cookie land- A cookie themed track complete with a milk river and hot chocolate volcano:
A spooky track, I don't have too many ideas yet:
An Arabian/Persian themed track:
A Northern European track, with fjords and cliffs:
An old harbor with a section in one of the cargo ships:
EDIT: I have an Idea for a museum track, and also a stadium, I'm also open to suggestions from anyone on any of my previous races, or track ideas.
This track is based off of Bayou Run from (Drum roll please) Destruction Derby 64! It is a lot different from the original, but you can tell that it is inspired by it. If I did not change it, It would have been very flat and boring, so I put a bit of a twist on it. I at least kept the most recognizable sections from the original game. I don't want to seem demanding, but I think the track would work best if it were sunken into the ground (There's a few objects that Imply this). Anyways, here is the submission info.
What I could do is post a few screenshots of both versions and see which one you prefer (although I REALLY like my newer one better). Then I can make that track compatible with MKMC and submit it.
I like the one on the left better generally (seems to have a better shape/scale), but there are some sections where I kinda like the older one better (I guess it's the art style?). Use whatever you like best, really. Both seem like they'll work fine.

Awesome, thanks for the submission! It'll be in the next update. I've got a sweet tooth for obscure n64 racers too, for a long time I really wanted to re-create a track from Rush 2049 but I never got around to it.
Ok, so when I imported my track from the original world to MKMC, I started having issues. First, it kept spamming "Highlight Nodes: [Activators] [Race Exclusive] [Race and Battle] [Battle Exclusive] [None]" in the chat
I ignored that hoping it wouldn't affect anything, but when I tried to place nodes, the mob for each node didn't die, thus they didn't activate.
Did I do something wrong when importing? Would any command blocks that were in the schematic have an effect on it?

I imagine the scoreboard is bugged somehow. First, try using the highlighter tool (snowball) to see if that stops the spamming. Next, try using creepers with spawn eggs to get rid of the mobs that aren't dying and maybe it will sync things up again after they blow up (allowing you to place nodes again).
If none of that works, try exiting editor mode and going back to the title screen, typing "/scoreboard players reset @p" to clear your scores and then "/tp @p -500 80 -500" so the game can reset you. Hopefully that fixes everything.

Maybe I'll do that after my next track's done. Now I know why you called the first track Presidio. I think I will do Either Haight or Mission, but it will be a lot of work. Maybe I will hold off on it until later, but I hope I eventually get to it.

Haha, yeah, that's where the name "Presidio" came from. "The Gauntlet" is also named and inspired by "Gauntlet" from that game as well. A track from 2049 would be super cool! Definitely an undertaking with how long and intricate the tracks in that game are, though.

None of that worked. But what I'll try to do is move it to a new world, get rid of all command blocks, redstone units, and armor stands/other entities that may have an effect on it. I don't know if that has anything to do with it, but that's what I am going to try to do. I'll do it later when I have a chance to.
Also, the one I am using is the one with another track alongside it. I was wondering, if I use that other racetrack, can I use the same spot, or will I have to re-import the schematic at a different location for it to work correctly?

Oh darn, sorry about that. I have no idea what went wrong there.
You can totally have them in the same area, no problem.
It's possible that some checkpoints, item blocks, etc will be active when you don't want them to be depending on where your activators are. If you place activators strategically at the edges of each track (at least 100m away from each other so they don't link up) you can keep the map from running extra unnecessary nodes during gameplay. This might be necessary if you're dealing with more than one race spawn since the map can't really tell which "activated" race spawn to send players to (it'll just pick one) and that could cause player to be sent to the other nearby track accidentally.
I tried to re-import it without all the redstone and entities. This time the spamming didn't happen, but the nodes still won't activate.
The nodes are entities (invisible armor stands). If you import without entities, the nodes will be lost.
If you still can't create new nodes with spawn eggs, check -503 61 -470 and make sure there's a redstone block there. Check the command blocks immediately connected to that block and make sure they're working as well. Maybe try placing a few nodes right there and see how the system reacts? Setting your "spawnMob" score to 0 might help too.
Using MCEdit on your worlds seems to cause issues for you and I'm really not sure why. What version are you using?
I meant that I killed all entities before importing to MKMC. I had placed some command blocks and armor stands before, and there were probably chickens and other stuff like that around.
I teleported to that location. When I was there the nodes I placed worked, but they still didn't work on the track. I figured it was because the worldspawn was somehow messed up, but it still didn't work when I reset the world spawn.
PSA: If you're encountering the node placement bug (where mobs don't die and become nodes), just place several creepers in rapid succession. The issue will correct itself after one of the creepers decides to explode.
Just a quick update on my latest track, I am 90% done, I just need to add directional arrows and checkpoints, then add some scenery. If Flamingosaurus wants me to DM him a schematic so he can test it I will gladly accept. There's also a huge empty area where I have no Idea what I should add there.
I'm planning to have a Nighttime version of it (with a different route) and a battle course located on top of the ship While it's out at sea. I might call it "Top Deck" (I know there will be jokes where people call it Top Kek).
Also I accidentally spawned in a baby villager once, and unlike a baby zombie, it did not die.
Thank you!

So I did screenshots. Which one do you think is a better fit for MKMC?
The one on the left is the newer one, and the one on the right is the older one. Each screenshot was taken in the same respective spot in each track.
