Please, me and a freind need nudged in the right direction with the bookcases. I know about the saplings and left/right correlation. Your map is amazing. But extremly non-directional (on purpose I would think).
So I got to the end of the game, which was amazing by the way. But...
I can only seem to find the 2 endings, Spiral and Aftermath (Aftermath was first). Can you give me some kind of hint to finding the other 2? Last thing I should say is that you are able to go into separate gamemodes when you get the Aftermath ending, but not the Spiral ending. (so you will get a warning and... y'know, Aftermath things)
Justwanted to let you know just in case it was a bug since Aftermath is 1000% harder than Spiral, spent about 40 minutes on that final Aftermath puzzle, but the game overall had some very creative solutions, but you REALLY need to think on the bookcase, beacon, and the final puzzle on Aftermath.
I hope to see more puzzle maps from you guys in the future.

"Right direction with the bookcases" and "left/right correlation" as in...?
If you're stuck on the number 1~12, then look around and see for common colours!
Also, thanks for your comment. The map is designed to allow players not to solve every puzzle in order, so it might also be a little confusing XD

Congratulations for finishing the map! You might be the first ones finished the map here xD
We are not able to control the gamemode after you get to the endings, due to the chunks unloading problem.
The difficulty of the puzzles are supposed to increase for each puzzle you solve! So that's why you need to think extra hard xD
To find the last two ending, you might want to check the room below the fountain! This should provide you the location of the clue.
You don't need to try it 4 times! We put the "west compass" in so to allow players to relate the lights to the clock.
But, I said I dont know which direction is west.
If I go to the main hub with the hoppers that oyu insert shards, above you is a colored "clock" ceiling, which then you need use the light pattern where the compass is to use it. But I still dontk now where is "west".
If the "west" means that the compass shows a direction I need start with, then I am ok. But otherwise I have mess in it. I am gonna try to do it. Will reply if I will complete the clock puzzle.
Ok. Tried 4 TIMES with different direction looking at the colors.
Nope. None of them work.
Do I need wait till the bacon beam to turn different color after pressing the pressure plate of a different color or something?

Is this a bug?
First of all, the lights and the middle ceiling does not require any rotating to get the correct answer. Hope that clarifies your confusion!
You don't need to wait for the beacon beam to turn to that colour. That's just an indication of the colour you entered.
You might want to try to wait for that... if you can enter the colours really quickly.
If nothing else work, open up the manual and turn to the last page. The button on that page might fix the "bug". (it's unavoidable, we haven't come up with a solution yet )

"does not require any rotating"
But then which "directiong" way of facing the colors on ceiling to look at it?
YOu know, you can stay at the orange color and look to other side from the orange color and do it with rest of colors.
It doesnt clear up the confusion. More like I am getting more confused when you explain my that.
When you put in the final Shard in the Aftermath ending, right-clicking the hopper and waiting will eventually start to turn the game upside down. This is probably just a glitch with Minecraft in general, but it's good to note anyway
Those other 2 endings were great! I had such a hard time figuring out the answer, but with both of those endings...
Oh boy... let's just say that things can go really grim, really quick. But the first two endings just seem... off, is that kid in the Aftermath ending the kid of you the player? What the heck had even happened in the Spiral ending?! Also, one of the two harder to find endings had an "Obligatory reference" that I really liked, and was very fitting.

The two clues are in the same direction, meaning that whichever way you are facing for the first clue, will be the way you have to face to apply the first clue to the second clue, and thus get the correct answer.
Hope that this is clear enough and the puzzle works for you! If not, reset the puzzle, use the last page of the manual, and enter your answer again.
If nothing else works, you might have encountered an unexpected bug! In that case, inbox me your answer and attach the world file. We'll look into it and respond ASAP!

I post a lot of spoilers lol.
Congratz on finishing the whole map! Well done!
As the features stated, the storyline is really implicative, so the meaning of each ending won't be too obvious!
However, I can tell you that the timeline of the Aftermath ending is somewhat later than the other things happened in the map! So the kid might have some relations to the player... That's all I can say here.
I'm glad that you liked that little reference we put in xD
Hi, I've really loved your map and 1 of the hardest challenges I've even faced I life, I've spent about 4 hours and completed 3 puzzles (I used this page to help me). But there is no evidence for the last puzzle (shard of murder) on here so I've got stuck, so all I ask right now is for a hint of 1 of the owners to help me finish the 4th puzzle and progress to finishing. Thanks! :D:D
I believe the last puzzle is related to the saplings, right?
To solve this, you have to know the amount of each type of saplings, use this information on the 4x4 empty grid represented correspondingly by that type of sapling. It's like a sudoku but not really...

So I tried doing the pattern exactly in that direction based like the lantern blocks, starting from that color where the first lantern blocks will light up.
Unfurtunely, even before that I clicked on the button in book to make it "fix" up and then pressed reset (because before it, it wuldnt want to reset into white) and put the correct pattern in "clock" puzzle room with colors.
And nothing happened after that. I checked every room and nothing.
Is this a bug? I could send you screenshot by what image I was doing.
You start with color Brown and end on color Red. Right?

You might be putting in a shade of black that's too dark Void Walker.
I forgot to mention this in my other post but...

Got past enchants.
The spinning room is obviously a clock but has nothing to do with the colored numbers.

YES I SEE THE LIGHTS no I don't understand what they mean.
It's too late for this.
I can't anymore.
UPDATE we now have the shard of warmth and the shard of grief. What nOW
