Welcome to Pacman! Over a year ago I set myself the challenge of creating a fully functional Pacman minigame in Vanilla Minecraft using the same ghost AI as the original Pacman game. After many hours and attempts, I've finally managed to create a map that manages to accomplish this, and much more!
Features include:
Full ghost AI identical to the real Pacman game
All original sound effects
Smooth movements for all ghosts and Pacman
Directional updates for all ghosts and Pacman
Live score and high score updates
Edible fruit (2 per round)
Functional side tunnels
Wiggly joystick
Fast resets

Dude this is so cool, did you use item frames to get the custom animations or did you use a resource pack that has a bunch of combinations that switch the blocks in a certain pattern as the entity moves along it? I would love to know but keep making great minecraft inventions!
Yes the map uses a custom resourcepack. The default animations (pacman eating, ghosts wiggling) are animated block models. The different directions that the ghosts/Pacman can face and Pacman's death sequence are all different block models that I used /replaceitem to cycle through.
Fixed a bug that caused Inky (blue ghost) to get stuck when trying to use the left side tunnel. This addresses all of the bugs that I have seen in videos to date, so please let me know if you find any others!

I hope you don't mind, but I added it to Craftures as well. http://craftures.com/map/pacman
Updated the download file to fix two bugs:
- Pacman will no longer occasionally lose two lives at a time.
- Time should now display properly on the win screen.
