That's really about all I can criticize! You blew my expectations clear out of the water on this one. I saw the concepts of being able to generate buildings and such with spawn eggs, but this is it taken to its absolute extreme: a living, growing world.
I beg of you to do a sequel for 1.9, taking advantage of features like the randomized loot tables they're adding. This was easily one of the most memorable minecraft maps I've played in years. I might just give it a replay just because I finished the map without ever actually utilizing the leveling dog pet (I thought I had to unlock him first or something) or the construction mode, which looked really interesting.
I took the opportunity to play it a second time to toy with some of the features I missed during the first round.
I really liked the leveling, invincible pet. He may not do crazy damage but upgrades like the wolfpack summoning are ridiculously fun to watch chase down a horde of skeletons.
It really goes to show just how much you have to this map that I still found upgrades and such I didn't see in Round 1. Claustrophobia, where I ran around collecting chests and emeralds in a cramped area full of spiders, and that book that caged every monster around were really fun.
For some reason I didn't have emerald bats this round. Are they a random upgrade of some sort?
I finally gave construction mode a practice run by building a huge tunnel between my base and the nearest library room for my enchanting table. Very cool stuff. The only thing I found myself desiring was a ceiling egg (though maybe the floor egg would've done the job?)
I accidentally logged off without using the save book first, but I'm pretty sure by toggling the redstone off and on after logging back in it worked properly again.

Reloading the game first reads all variables as 0, then what they truly are, making the game think you just gained your last level.

It will not work with skeles or zombies because they are constantly overwritten. The boss idea sounds good, any ideas?
