So i played Terra Restore.... somehow completed in a day (I love to speedrun stuff)
So what do i think about it? well lets get the score system out
Looks: 4 out of 10 because the Outside hills that surrounds the areas look not that good...
Music placement: 9 out of 10 it was like PERFECT apart from why did i have to get the music unlocked? Bit anoying
Combat: 6 out of 10 at the end part it got a bit to easy NOT HARD after i got the buffs with my shap 4 sword it was like 1 hit to everything.
so i REALLY enjoyed it
So Terra Restore 2 so far? got 3 wools already
What i would like to see is more Easter eggs like the Sun and moon shrine for Celesta and luna
What could be a good thing for the VERY last area make it like 4 times as hard then the last area in terra Restore and make it so you have to flip a switch at 4 or 5 locations so you can make a very spread out final area?
Also could you Unlock Teliports to locations as going back and forth does get anoying after a while.
2nd wool in the tower area with the leapers. They where TO MANY LEAPERS i died about 30 times in that area because of them. A bit to hard of an area at the start because of how many there where.
Just finished my second play though of Terra Restore 2 episode 2, and it just made it harder to wait until episode 3 is released! Great Map, you've made and I can't wait to play whatever you do next! Also really interested to see your next mini-map Emberforge and War of Bones were great!
Thoughts of Terra Restore 2 thus far:
As mentioned above by the end I did start to feel overpowered with all of the loot, and the boss fight at the end of the Magma Legion Base seamed really lagey, other then that it was amazing! Loved the stealth gimmicks in the Magma Legion Base. The temperature mechanic was also interesting but it could have been explained better. I'm also amazed at your ability to hide loot well, yet at the same time not make it frustrating to find if you try for long enough. For whatever reason I also feel that the story was done better in episode 2, It didn't seem as tacked on as it did in episode 1. Each area has purpose and you have a clear goal o accomplish there other then going to get the Terra Restore.
Keep up the great work, can't wait for the release of episode 3!
(And yes, I made this account just to comment here, it's something I've been meaning to do for a while now, but my recent play-though finally got me to actually to it.)
Candy canes! Cool! Judging by the background, there's a Christmas-themed map in the works?
Just finished it today actually! It's out now for those on Patreon, next Tuesday for the public release. ^^ It's a small arena map where you fight off 25 different waves of Christmas/Winter themed enemies. It's nice and simple and sweet!
Just want to say that Terra Redstone II has been the most fun I have ever had with an adventure map. I really enjoyed The Fire Legions castle, it was my favorite dungeon. Just have a couple of bugs that I encounter.
1. Sometimes the gamemode would be messed up and keep me on adventure, when it should be survival
2. The "Army of One" music never played when I did the boss battle.
3.The music would sometimes glitch and stop playing
Overall though, favorite map ever, can't wait for the next episode to be posted. One question I was wondering about, is how are you going to keep all the map data from this version?

Hey all,
I'm playing through Mithey's most recent map, Winterhold. Thanks for creating something that's seasonal, with great sound-effects, and appropriate custom mobs. Here's my first episode:
The second half of the challenge should go up Christmas day.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
As long as you have a pick you'll be fine. Just keep running...
Time for another quick update on things here! The development of Terra Restore 2 is starting to pick up again here finally, it can definitely be hard at times to stay motivated with such a large project even though I enjoy it. As far as progress goes the next city is done, and 1 out of the 2 dungeons is basically next to completion~ I mainly just have to hook up a bunch of command blocks. So I'd say the next episode should for sure be out sometime in January, perhaps along side with the 1.9 release itself.
The next mini-map that I've been working on during the weekends has also resumed development as they finally fixed the chunks not loading while riding entities bug, woo! xD
I also decided to not go along with the 1 mini-map per week thing as the amount of types of maps that I can put together in 2 days alone feels a bit limited. So instead I'm just going to say that there will be a new mini-map each month, maybe more if you're lucky!
Yesterday I also decided to try out a new site to post my maps, the MinecraftMaps site, since it's the first thing that comes up when you search Minecraft maps on Google. I went ahead and posted my three newest mini-maps on there and surprisingly enough, after 24 hours the total downloads for each of those maps have doubled! Even my map Emberforge Keep which came out over a month ago has doubled in downloads in 24 hours alone. I'll definitely be adding in Terra Restore 1 and the Tales of Nira maps to the site once I get around to adding in a casual mode for those maps.
This forum will still be the central place to discuss my maps in general and I'll still be uploading on here and using it btw.
Also to help out my financial situation, which has never been all that great and has been a source of a bit of stress, I'm going to start using adfly links for my maps soon. And don't worry, if you don't like that site I'll put in a direct download below it. ^^
Anyways, that's about all for now~ thanks all for the comments/posts as usual! And happy holidays!

THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK!!!!
Minecraft unfortunately doesn't really have a proper set of commands to handle playing and stopping music, so I had to come up with some solutions for that. One of which solutions involves playing a bunch of blank sound files to stop the current song from playing so I can start up the next song. Unfortunately there has been a bug in the game for ages where certain sounds can play more than once if you do things like hit escape to bring up the menu and then close it, or bring up a command block window and close it in the middle of a sound being played. If you hit escape when the song either switches or loops then there is a chance that all the blank sounds will get played again, canceling out the current song from playing for a few minutes until it loops. There might be other situations too but that is what I found, so unfortunately there is no real way to fix the glitchyness which can happen on rare occasions.
The next version of the map will contain all previous areas in addition to the new ones. As far as your progress goes, you will have the option to download a save file world which has all the old areas already completed and you will be given an average amount of loot to work with.
If you know what you're doing then you can also transfer over anything you have built via MCEdit, you have to be careful though to not override things like command blocks and such though. You can also transfer over your inventory with MCEdit or other tools, however though unfortunately with this next map update and how the map is now going to be in 1.9, almost all items broke so you won't be able to transfer over your armor/weapons. Again you will still be given an average amount of gear to work with though.
so... I downloaded ember forge keep and started to play. It was a great map then I quit (I didn't want to play all in one sitting) a few days later i start it up again, I load the world, it brings me on then kicks me and says "flying is not enabled on this server" and it sends me to the server list!!! please help!

War of Bones is such a great concept! I love what you've been doing since the Terra Restore days!

So I decided to take it upon myself to try and make some custom models, after figuring out how to do it over a few hours I came up with this:
Nothing too to special, though I am proud of them because they are the first ones I did! xD
I can make a pixel does that count as custom models?
Those look amazing Mithey^^

Just finished WInterhole Arena and had a blast with it~ You're abilities never cease to amaze me^^
Loved the names of all the monsters too, hated the firebats but luckily I'm a marksman with a bow.
I'm happy you found another site for your maps, more people need to know about the epicness that is them
