The Terraria Biome generator is a device you can place into your vanilla world that will randomly seed the Corruption, Crimson, and Hallow biomes into your world. If you aren't familiar with the Terraria, these biomes will slowly spread and take over other biomes near them. These biomes also have harder mobs and will attempt to take over your entire world!
Your job as the player, is to cleanse these biomes and stop their spread. Items like purification powder or vile powder can be bought from the dryad and used to revert corrupted areas to their original form. You can also buy corrupted/crimson/hallowed seeds from the dryad if you want to try and spread a certain biome!
The Terraria Biome Generator offers:
.Three biomes that will spawn in your world and slowly spread when the player is nearby
.Custom mobs that will spawn in these new biomes, and pack quite a punch! (Yay corrupt bunnies!)
.A Dryad villager that will spawn with you and sell you the tools to help cleanse or spread these biomes
.Is able to run in any 1.8 or later vanilla world, pre-existing or brand new! (However, some biomes cannot be seeded on desert or mesa, so a world without those biomes at spawn is recommended)
How to Download:
If you do not have MCEdit, then download any one of these worlds that already have the schematic, press the button, and you're done!
If you want to download the generator into your own world and have MCEdit, download the schematic into your schematics folder and import into your world with MCedit, make sure you import the schematic into your spawn chunks near bedrock level, as to minimize lag and keep it running properly. Then press the button to start.
These biomes spread through entities. An entity becomes infected when it walks on a biome, and will spread the biome when they move. If a custom biome has too many loaded entities, this can cause a lot of entity lag. (mobs will move jerkily, items will take longer to pick up) If you find you are experiencing this, you can simply reset your render distance to a smaller amount, meaning less loaded entities on custom biomes, meaning less lag.
