Can't get enough Sonic the Hedgehog action? Introducing Sonic: Emeralds of Power!
There have been many Sonic-themed maps before, but S:EoP does not focus on bringing familiar locations from Sonic games into Minecraft, it instead focuses on creating the ultimate Sonic parkour experience! Collect classic items, like Speed Sneakers to run faster, Shields to regenerate health, Fire Shields to avoid lava damage, Water Shields to avoid drowning, and 1ups to refill health! Bounce on springs, shoot off ramps, and collect all seven Chaos Emeralds to unlock Super Sonic! Run through a oak wonderland, snowy mountains, a watery swamp, a desolate lab, the Nether, the clouds, a GUN base, and Dr. Eggman's fortress! Available with Easy and Hard versions, newcomers and parkour experts can enjoy this speedy adventure! The first in a three-part Sonic parkour map series, Sonic: Emeralds of Power is compatible with nine players, so your friends can join in on the fun!
It is recommended that if you play the Easy version, you play on Peaceful difficulty, if you play the Normal version, you play on Easy difficulty, and if you play the Hard version, you play on Hard difficulty.
UPDATE: Link fixed! It will take you to Normal mode!
I can already tell this is a Nooby map, Emeralds of Power? God no
Hey, somebody's got to start somewhere. The name, while not impressive on its own, I tried to turn into a Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages / Oracle of Seasons sort of thing. Part one, Emeralds of Power, part two, Emeralds of X, and part three, Emeralds of Y, each one focusing on the different Emeralds/Collectibles in the games.
If you actually went out of your way to play the map, I'll be more than happy to take any criticism. I made a deal about using Command blocks to try to emulate the Sonic the Hedgehog feel in this parkour map. I'm already halfway through the development of the second map, so I'll take more feedback for the final part.
And I've been playing Minecraft since 1.2. Don't talk to me about being a "Nooby." Granted, I don't do much on the Minecraft Forums (as you can see), but I am well versed in Redstone, Command Blocks, Status Effects, and Commands.

Since Release 1.2? I've been Mining Ores since 1.0.0
Maybe everyone should calm down and just state things about the map. Sure, it might be his first map. Sure, it might not have the best name in existence. But you should calm down and just play the map before you be judgmental. All I'm saying is I'm going to play this map and see how good it is BEFORE I hate on it/love it. I'll put a review

I totally agree.
