Here is a play-through of the map while we were still play testing. This was from one of the final rounds of testing before the map went live. As you could see, the paintbrush was added right before the map was released. At the time this video was taken, it was still a feather.
I take pride in knowing I suggested the exact idea for this minigame to sethbling in a video comment long before this game came out. Glad somebody made it happen. ;)

There are two versions of this map.
One, is downloadable and must be played on a server you set up at home. The server version requires command_blocks be enabled, as well as mob spawning.
The VERY first time a the game is loaded on the server, someone needs to connects to your server (We'll call that the FIRST PLAYER EVER), they will find themselves in a white clay field that reads: "Loading". The player needs to set themselves to game-mode 0. This tells the code to initialize all scoreboards. After the first player, anyone that connects to the server will automatically be teleported to the Lobby.
In the Lobby, you will automatically be set to gamemode 2. You should be able to flip the "team-ready" levers. Flipping one will cause the game to start.
The second version of the map is OUR TRIAL version. This is a set of servers (cc01.musclecraft.net) that we created to show off the map to those wanting to try before they download it. The TRIAL version of the map will only start if there are TWO players connected on the server. You will not be able to play on the server if there isn't at least one other player. The TRIAL version of the map has levers disabled to prevent griefing. If you want the full set of features the map offers, download the map and run your own server with your friends.
Loved this snapshot mini game! My sister and I would become invisible to each other when we start the game sometimes and I'm not sure if it was a problem on the map or my end but other then that it was great! I played on snapshot 14w25b btw.
Review Summary
Clever minigame requiring you to paint blocks (by walking on them) while not falling off and engaging in PvP. Great use of 1.8 mechanics and fun power up items. And the best part is that there are many different arenas that you will be randomly placed into.
We're working on an updated version of Color Cube and will re-release some few weeks after 1.8 has been released! We're hoping we can take all 20K command blocks and reduce it down to exactly 53 of them what with all the improvements in the snapshots since 14w25... we won't release until then!

Just to let anyone who is insterested know: "Yes, Virginia, We're still working on a Minecraft 1.9 version" (COLOR CUBE II CONFIRMED WOOT WOOT!)
I'm proud to say we've surpassed 11K downloads, just from our own servers. (Other folks have rehosted, so.. no download count details there.)
We've updated COLOR CUBE to work on Minecraft Realms, and you can get a working version of the map through there! Additionally, we're gonna make the latest version of the map (whatever version we're up to lately -- the colors are making me a bit dizzy) available for download from our website.
We've discontinued to play servers, though, sorry. You'll have to make friends to play this game from here on out!

Did you make sure to enable Command Blocks on your server? If not, open up your server.properties file and change enable-command-block to true.
Hope that helps! ^.^
EDIT: i cant flick levers dont see the titles and i cant use any commands?

Here's the video!:
Is awesome! But not supports 14w29b. Why? But works with 14w25b.
Thanks for making this awesome map! And the Resource Pack is awesome! (In 2013 called "Texture Pack")!
