So with Season II, I am incorporating a chat system where you can talk to characters. I have it working for one character so far. I think the Space Theme for Season II is working quite nicely!
If you have any problems with Season I be sure to let me know! I plan to do another update probably in a month or so. I want to get rid of as many remaining bugs as possible.

Hey guys, I have completed the planning stages for Exodus Season II and have developed a much stronger story than the one that was in Season I. But I have come across a small issue.
I am unsure how to incorporate the popularity votes (mainly because the story revolves around an event messing up the show midway through Episode I)
So I was wondering, how many of you actually enjoyed the popularity votes from season I and would you miss them if they weren't in season II?
Made lots of progress on Season II today. It's looking good so far. Trying out a different progression system. We'll see how it does. Episode I for season 2 is about 40% built but has very little redstone wired. Gonna work on that tomorrow.

this map was very fun but after some time the zombie slaying got veeery boring
the buildings were cool
maybe you can make a custom resourcepack to make a even better atmosphere

Thanks for the feedback! I know what you mean about the zombie slaying getting boring. That is something I am changing in season II. Season II is going to be more story focused but still contain some action. (However not as often as season I)
I'm not going to create a custom resource pack for season I mainly because I built it with the default pack in mind. But for Season II, I am making a custom resource pack. (I have a few things re-textured but it still needs a ton of work)

However near the end of production I integrated a single player popularity vote system that works but doesn't necessarily fit in. (If I recall, you played it in singleplayer the few times you played)
The reason I asked the question about the popularity system is because the main idea for season II centers around you not being a contestant. Instead you are one of the producers but due to a (insert secret dramatic event here) find yourself in a similar situation. However your progression through the map will have a reward/penalty system but it is not going to openly appear as such.
I have an idea of how to possible bring back the old popularity system somewhere in episode I but instead of being voted on, you actually get to vote.

You even alerted me to a bug in the map. It's not supposed to effect the map if you press the button twice but in that area it seems that the redstone is slightly messed up. It's a minor bug but it will be fixed in the next update.

So today, I'm gonna start working on the 1.3 update for the map. There are a few minor bugs that I am aware of and a few aesthetic that need to be changed. However the next update will mostly be adding an interior to a few more buildings to allow players to explore more and possibly find some cool/better loot. I may also begin work on adding lore to some items (Not confirmed)
This update will be released probably in a week or two. However this should not stop you from trying the map now. The upcoming features are just going to be a small/minor addition.

This update adds a ton of aesthetics. Many buildings interiors have changed as well as several new buildings to explore!

I seem to have run into some sort of bug in Episode III... after completing the Maze section and rerouting the power back to the main elevator, nothing seems to have happened. I am unable to activate either one of the elevators and am stuck in the Puzzle section of the map. Is there a way to fix this problem? I'd rather not have to go through the First Two episodes again, if possible!

Lets see, did you complete all four puzzles. It shouldn't matter the order. Make sure you hit every single lever that's at the end of each puzzle. All four must be completed. If that didn't fix the issue try this:
1. Punch out the side of the roof elevator. Try activating the redstone there with a button or something.
2. If that fails fly back towards the entrance of Episode III. Find the roof area with the helicopter and continue from there. Doing this way will solve your problem but you will be skipping the popularity vote. (Not a huge issue)
If this didn't solve your problem I can go look up the coordinates you should teleport too if the redstone is still messed up.
Hope this fixes the issue!
Your advice worked perfectly, but I seemed to have hit another roadblock. I successfully defended the chopper until the fuel gauge was full, but now I find myself unable to take off?

That is very strange. I haven't heard anyone else having that problem. You are pressing the button that's on the command block in the cockpit right?
If you go into creative and fly down and cross the street from the facility. You should see a small thing of redstone with a few command blocks behind the trees. Just activate that and it should complete the episode.
I have a theory about why these things may not be working. Are you by chance playing on something lower than render distance of 7? If so that is a highly likely the culprit of the problem. Turn it up if something isn't working.
