Minecraft BINGO is a vanilla survival scavenger hunt, where your goal is to collect items displayed on your BINGO Card in order to get five in a row, column, or diagonal.
You start with nothing but a BINGO Card, and must punch trees, craft tools, and explore the world, to obtain the items on your card which "light up" to track your progress as you get them. A typical game takes about 10-35 minutes.
Features:
BINGO Card (map) that automatically tracks your progress
randomized BINGO Cards, randomized spawnpoints - the game is different challenge each time you play it!
automatic win detection (fireworks when you get a BINGO)
play single-player, or do a head-to-head race against a friend in SMP!
This map took me a lot of time to make; I hope you enjoy it! If you do, I appreciate any support you can give me, including upvoting this thread or leaving a comment with feedback.

If you'd like to see a very close, fast match, check out this head-to-head:

Just curious, is there an reason it has to be done in 14w11b? Or have you not updated the OP?
It does happen to also work in 14w17a. But the snapshots are not known for their reliability and not-breaking-existing-behavior, so I just wanted to future-proof the Original Post.
My buddy Tonic and I have been having a lot of fun with this game. We played a few rounds of 2.0 and a couple rounds of 2.1. Here's the two 2.1 games we did for any folks interested in checking them out. We're looking forward to future updates or versions.
I wanted to leave this mini-game running on an unattended server, so I made a few changes. The following "patch" can be run on the server console to modify version 2.2:
The Meaning of Life, the Universe, and Everything.

The terrain generation options are the default, except
dungeon frequency at max (level 100)
biome size at smallest (level 1)
granite/diorite/andesite turned off (level 0)
If you want to try your own terrain, you can make a new (creative mode) world with your own options, save and exit, copy the region\r.0.0.mca file from the BINGO save into your new world save, go back in, tp to (150,150,150), place a button at head height on the 'go' wall at the corner of the 'card' wall and press it (get some feedback), then place a button on the 'card' wall at the 'go' corner and press it (more feedback), look at a new map from creative inventory, and then step on one of the pads and look at a given map, and then I think it's ready to go? That's what I do, sorry if those instructions are not completely clear.

I'm on the CSM team, but I've retired from Minecraft modding for the most part. I made Cliffie's Goos.
I'm an old-timer, been around since Alpha. MC: Windows 10 edition is like the uncanny valley, almost modern Minecraft but off in every way.
I have an XBox tag, but only because I needed one to try the Windows 10 version. I don't have an XBox.

We're having so much fun with this!
I'm just a Minecraft player that likes to give my opinion. Nothing special to see here.

Not the best time, so I'll probably try again soon.

A short list of the changes made:
* Instead of showing the score for each player it shows the score for Red and Blue
* Players can join a running game by stepping the appropiate pressure plate
* White team is replaced with spectator mode
* Players who disconnect are reset and respawned in the staging area next time they connect
* The reset button is removed and the game auto resets when there are no more players in game
* The game is always run in two teams mode
Edit: I figured it out. :-)
Are you holding any maps? If not, (re-)join a team to get some.
Are you using snapshot 14w20b? Opening with earlier snapshots can permanently break the map (you'd need to download a fresh copy to fix it).
The reason I ask this is because I kind of want Ocean Monuments and other later changes added into the whole Bingo experience.
