Hello, everyone! Here's another update on the assassin's creed map. So, in a post awhile ago I typed out a list of what needed to be done before releasing the map to the public. Here's the list right here with what I've done checked off:
1. Create rewards for collecting all the Orbs in the missions.
2. Finish making the Quiz Room.
3. Make the Bonus Level!! (SPOILER)
4. Fix any other bugs that beta-testers find and also release it to more beta-testers.
5. Write out the big forum post describing the map and its features to the public on various different sites.
So, things written under 4. and 5. aren't done yet. Basically to sum it up I've just got to fix the bugs the beta-testers may find, add some little things to the map that I may think of, and write out the forum post along with all the stuff that comes with that! Thanks to all you guys who have been patiently waiting for a long time! And I hope you guys will enjoy the map once I release it! Here's another pic of the map:
REALLY nice map but I cant find the Indie's study room I got the key and the 9 magic eyes HELP!
seriously why so many chests in the clocktower???????
Ok, so Indy's study is in the second level (upstairs) of the College in the South Hall. Go all the way down the hall and take a right. Enter, and there should be an iron door where you have to place the pressure plate (key to the study).
Also, the chests are there so you can parkour up higher to get to the other chests. And they also hold the rewards!
Sorry it's been so long since I've had an update on the Assassin's Creed map (which finally has a title! Assassin's Creed: Reclaiming A Kingdom!). I've been pretty much busy this whole summer but did get the time to make the forum thread and get the map ready for posting. So I know you're wondering why it's not posted yet!
Well... there has been one huge complication. One of the creations used in the map (which happens to be a pirate ship used in a mission) was made by a talented guy named ka2stgo on Planet Minecraft. Well, I tried to contact him a year and a half ago (when I first started making the map) to ask him if I could use his creation in my map. He didn't respond, so I just kinda let it rest until I was near finishing the map... which wasn't a good idea on my part because I already put the pirate ship in the map along with all the command blocks, before he said "yes" to using it. So, around a month ago I tried very hard to reach the creator and finally was able to.
Turns out he didn't want me to use the pirate ship he made, but said I could use this other ship. Well... so now I have this other ship added into the map BUT it doesn't have any of the command block mechanisms from the pirate ship to make the mission work. So that means I have to add all those command blocks in. This is a very time consuming process. And the bad thing is, school has started so I won't have much time to add the command blocks in except for on the weekends.
So that's why I haven't posted the map yet. I can't say when I'll finish fixing the map, but I can say I haven't given up on it yet! And I hope you guys haven't either even though it's been months since I've updated you (sorry). One last thing, if any of y'all are still following my updates on this map please reply to this comment! I really want to see if I still have a few people excited for this map! Thanks!
Here's the title/logo for the map, just to give you guys something to be excited for:

Haha! Well, at least it will be a new experience because it's a different ship!
By the way, thanks for testing the map earlier this summer, I hope you had fun with it! (Btw, I put your name in the credits of the map for beta-testing)
And thanks for still following my updates, it's really awesome to get your feedback!

Holy cow... it has been a while. A looong while. I wonder if my ol' buddies are still on here from years ago. If so, hi! If you used to follow my maps you're probably wondering why I'm back on after a break of about 5 years. 5 years! Crazy how time flies. Well, I'm back just for a bit. Over Christmas break I was snowed in at my cousin's house in Nebraska. I was super bored during the stormy weather so I pulled up this Indiana Jones Adventure Map on my PC and started playing it to reminisce on the good ol' days of map building. I forgot how fun it was to make and all the little secrets we added. It was awesome. Anyway, while I was playing I found a bug and I thought, "Why not give it another update?" It'll be fun to check out the minecraft forums once again. I tried to log into MC Forums and it turned out they switched to twitch login and I had forgot my twitch login from 5 years ago. So I was sad because I thought I'd never be able to log in again. Well a few days ago a started trying passwords I thought it would be and "Ta-Da!" one of them worked!! I was excited! Now I could update the map! So here I am. Don't know if anyone will see this. If not I guess I wasted 10 minutes writing this but that's not as much as I've wasted before so who cares. Well, here's the small update! Still play on minecraft 1.7.10. It works great on it. By the way we're at 25,000 downloads right now! Thanks for all the support over the years, it warms my heart.
Update #19
-Small bug fix in Level 4: The Sankara Stones. Fixed the annoying siren sound from playing when you drop into the secret passage way in the Palace. Now it doesn't play anything. Ears will be healed. Have fun.
Haha thanks for the comment! It's cool to see someone respond to my thread after so many years. Thanks for the encouragement. Yes, I'll have to update it for Indiana Jones 5 coming out in 2021! If you do try out this map let me know what you think and if there are any bugs let me know.
Oh, ok. Glad you guys had fun, and I hope you can get to the Bonus level.
