Here's fun map for people who love mazes!

It's 4 mazes with built with 4 seasonal colour palettes. The starting area is decorated with 4 different seasonal styles. And when you complete all 4 mazes, you'll open a secret area and get a special prize.

Oops, that's a pretty embarrassing bug, thanks for catching it! I'll fix it tonight when I get a chance to fire up minecraft. I should have the (hopefully finalized) map download link up again tonight/tomorrow.

I've corrected the issue and the map should work as planned now.

What sort of maze maps do players prefer, one large maze or a series of smaller mazes? Do you think a maze would be improved by adding some sort of trap or punishment for making a wrong turn?

I've been thinking about this since I first saw your post, it's a great idea!

I'm now making a more complicated valentines themed maze map. It has 4 easier difficulty mazes, with items to collect at the end of each one. (The reason why your collecting the items is driven by the valentines storyline, but you could just skip the story & play it as a series of maze mini-games too). Followed by one large/difficult maze at the end.

Check out the wip page for it. It should be ready by the end of January. It's called: Flowers for your sweetheart: A Valentines day adventure.
