Hello everyone! I have been working on fallen mines and I am pleased to say that I have finished the map and it is available for download!
I have worked on the map for quite some time now, and I am glad it is finally done! To all who plays have fun!
Ok just got white and magenta wool and died in the fortres in Intersection 1. The area of magenta wool was very similar to area in Inferno mines and very good build,maybe the area would look better with multicolor clay blocks and i was expecting more "dungeons" in that area,i only managed to find one stone brick structure with those skeletons and that "secret area" but the loot and custom mobs are amazing and those small traps really make player scared becuase you need to be very careful.So far im impressed
Thanks! If you like the earlier parts of that map I can't wait to see your ration to the later areas. They are lets just say, bigger.
So far I have been enjoying the map! I am at intersection 1 with 0 deaths and I have three questions:
In what order I should do the areas?
Was there a wool in the starting/stone brick road area?
Are you supposed to get an iron sword and some hoppers and gold armour in that chest that is near the starting... hole?
Also some recommendations:
Somehow show in what area what wool is (ex. Wool Carpets or Stained clay)
And for the maze mines (at the start)- I liked them. There was a lot of loot, but you can easily get lost.
I also like the hidden loot and the traps. And I love that you place glass panes at the intersection so no mobs can come.
In hole I am pleased and happy!

I haven't been on the forums in a while, but I'll start playing this as soon as I can. I kinda burnt myself out on Minecraft but I'll play it when I'm ready to again
Hmm... I couldn't find wool in the starting area, but I found even more hidden loot! And as far as I see the order of the areas are clockwise. Is that in every Intersection?

I don't think the wools are all clock wise but the mostly are.
Here is a hint as to where the wool is that you are looking for:
There should be a small lava pit that s one deep and two directions to go. The right should lead you to a pathway that goes down.
Ok got a wool from Search,Firey FEEESH and the Fermented grove,the best one i liked was the Fermented grove i really liked the spiders and the loot but at the start i kinda cheated the gravel that falls down with 6 cave spideres almsot killed me but the problem was whenever i got close it spawned 6 more in every few seconds so when i digged to it and destroyed it,there were so much spideres on the ground that it started to lag and i set it on peacful so they would despawn,Firey feesh was also a great area and the fleecy boss was very nice i also found the enchanted cavern,the mobs there were giving me some amazing loot and also does that dungeon in the enchanted cavern suppose to give me a wool ? becuase i didnt found it.
The answer to the question about the enchanted cave:
No there is no wool there, only loot/resources.
Also the trap at the start:
Yeah might have went a bit over board with the amount of spiders. Probably will lower the spawn rate but still make them an instant scare. My intention with that trap was to scare the player not make the area a pain.
P.S. some bad news - my entire .minecraft folder was deleted so I will have to start from scratch I am so mad > : (

Okay,didnt have time to finish any areas,just started the caverns of flight and that area is huge i only lit up the start of it and it looks like ill spend a lot of time there i did explore the bottom of it a bit found some nice loot and lots of funboxes > ill make a progress report on a future date and i have a tottaly unrelated-ish question about the map : i am making a ctm map and i`m making custom mobs/spawners but i dont know what spawn times to use for the spawner it is very hard to figure out the right spawn times and i need to know ( if you used mcedit and seth`s spawner filters ) what spawn time delays you used for your custom mobs(and also the area im making is kinda like your "Search" area just a bit more dungeny and smaller since its at the starter area.(you dont need to answer if its to secret)
Honestly I don't have a standard time I use. Depending on how the mob acts I tend to make mobs spawn around 1 set every 5 - 20 seconds. It really comes down to how difficult the mobs are and how hard you want the area to be. One thing I will say is that for long range spawners be sure to balance the amount of mobs spawn to the delay (I used long range in search). Don't go over board with the amound spawned, it is very easy to go over board.
