It's great to see such interest. The reason we chose to do a 3 player game was because there are lots of 1- and 2-player maps out there, and thought we would fill the niche gap of 3 player games. It also increased the challenge, as it's much harder to design puzzles/fights that are designed to keep three people entertained at once rather than just the one. Were a conversion possible I would happily oblige, but due to some of the puzzles it might be impossible to do a straight conversion into a single player map. On the other hand, if you are seeking a party to play with feel free to advertise on the thread - stickyhuman, for example, needs one extra player (although I think they lack a host too). I'm sure that between the community, we can match people up. But we will definitely consider your suggestions.
Hello there! Sorry for the long quiet stretch - we've been working hard on revamping the future to capture it in all it's burning, demolished glory. The Spirit Temple is underway (and requires an awful lot of redstone wiring), but for now here's a neutral area that we missed from the past:
No, we haven't forgotten about Kakariko Village - we're just making some final touches as it's an area that is heavily linked to both the past and the future. In the meantime, check out the Temple of Time post again for some extra shots of the exterior of the temple.
If you would be interested in Beta testing the map for us, please get in contact. Based on how many responses we get, we will decide whether or not such a round of testing is worth it.
At long last, an update! Rest assured that we've been working, but a split effort on the Water Temple, Fire Temple and Spirit Temple has meant that despite lots of hard work none had reached completion.Without further ado, I can reveal a few shots from the Spirit Temple
Would three valliant gamers be able to give childhood Link's adventure a run-through? We think it's in working order but are still working on a few final details (e.g. the House of Skulltula) - we just want to make sure that the main bits of the game are functional, user-friendly and enjoyable.
We are still seeking three volunteers that would be able to join our server and do a play test of the closed alpha version for us. We would be hosting and present to observe any issues the past contains.
This will be available for the ONLY three people.
If you are interested please message either MaybeLaterx or myself and the run through will be done at a time tbc.
New Updates to the future!
Completed both Dampé's Graveyard adventure and the external of Ganon's Castle!
With the alpha test of the past in the coming days It seems to be coming together!
Getting excited about the release!
The Shadow Temple is finally underway. In other news, we still want to do a runthrough of the past - get in touch with me or Duskreaper if you're interested in having a hosted run-through of the first half of the game, please.
I volunteer myself and two close friends of mine if you still need help alpha testing the Young Link portion of
your adventure map. We played through the Learning Curve just today and it was really cool and challenging! We loved it, and whether you still need testers or not, looking forward to playing this. I'm a big fan of LoZ too.
My Skype name is brickengineer should you still need help.
Thanks!
Thanks for expressing your interest! We have run the past once and made some bug fixes, and we would like to have it tested again soon, so we will definitely be in contact. The future is nearing completion so we may ask you to test a couple of those temples too, if that's alright by you. Looking forward to having you on board!
We've just completed our second run-through of the game and made countless bug fixes and quality control checks to make sure that the levels are comfortable, fun and just the right length at all times. Thanks ever so much to DarkDengar and co. for their help!
Ganon's Castle is currently underway, and two of the six chambers have already been completed.
To be completed:
Fire Temple (40% finished)
Shadow Temple (10%)
Ganon's Castle (15%)
Kakariko Village (30%)
Inside the Well (0%)
Dampé's Challenge (90%)
Thanks for your patience. We're both really looking forward to getting the final product polished and ready for you.
We have a VERY exciting update for you! We want to let you guys access our map as soon as possible, and we're way too impatient to wait for official release of the entire game, so we're giving you all a
Mental Block Gaming Super Secret Saturday Map Sample!
The Forest Temple from Link's Adult adventures is available for download now
We really appreciate all the support and interest the community has shown for the map so far and want to reward you guys with a sneak peak of the game. The map has been slightly edited so that it can be played as a stand-alone puzzle instead of as part of a canon of temples. Please let us know what you think of the preview, and if there are any bugs, issues or problems let us know either here or by email at [email protected].
In other news, the Water Temple is completed and it is now just a matter of piecing the different rooms and puzzles together. We're really proud of our very own water boss and can't wait to see how you guys will react to it. (Pictures coming soon!)
Thanks for your continued support, and we wish you lots of fun on your Forest Temple runthrough.
This map looks really cool; The Ocarina of Time is my favorite Legend of Zelda game. I can't wait till it comes out completely, I just played There Is No Learning Curve, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Hope to see you guys make more maps!
This in one word looks EPIC! I loved the Ocarina of Time game, played it 2 or 3 times over, it was easily the best LoZ game ever, and now it's MC. I would love to play this map and I can't wait for the full release. If with your permission, I would love to do a Let's Play on this map once it's fully complete and ready to be released.
Thanks for showing your interest! It's always encouraging to hear positive feedback from the community. There Is No Learning Curve was a sort of 'warm up project' in comparison to this map which really does lean towards something 'epic'. As for the Let's Play, we ALWAYS enjoy watching players give the maps a shot as it serves as entertainment for us whilst also informing us of any bugs of parts that are too easy/difficult so we can balance things a little better. (It's quite hard to playtest a three-player map with two people...)
As for an update, the Fire Temple is almost completely planned out, and the creation of Volvagia is already underway. Water Temple pictures are to follow - exams and appointments are making it difficult for us to work together to get the Water Temple completed finally. Stay tuned!
Hi, I am Available To Test The Map Whenever you need. The Only Problem Is That I dont have any others to help :L. If anyone can make a server with the worlds on it I would Appreciate. Also, When Full Comes Around I am a good tester. I beta tested Elder Scrolls Online
That's great! No worries, we can certainly use alpha testers for the newer areas of the map that need running through. We'll gladly have you on board! Check your inbox for Skype details and we'll contact you as and when we need testers so we can organise a runthrough together.
