Lol I just checked the downloads and it says that while 47 people have downloaded the map, only 9 people downloaded the texture pack, which makes me remind everyone
THE TEXTURE PACK IS REQUIRED FOR THIS MAP!!!!
You should package them together. Put the texture pack in the map download.

I just check the downloads and it now pretty even, so I think the notice on the fron post got their attention But so far I've had people have a lot of fun with my map, which makes me happy
I honestly really like the map. Normally I'm not a fan of parkour, but the beautiful world really keeps me calm when I mess up over and over for hours. The only problem I had was the massive amounts of reeds would make me lag a bit, but I'm also on a mid-range laptop, so I'm sure it wouldn't be too bad for most people playing on desktops. I'll have the review video posted once it's done being uploaded!
Oh, and a small tip. Maybe make a bamboo-less version for people with low FPS? That way they can still experience your map, even if it isn't as good looking as normal.
My god, this looks amazing. Very unique and very colorful =D
You should include the texture pack in the main map download. That way, people will realize that it's required and use it when they're looking for the save folder.
I put a notice on the OT and the problem has been resolved lol I guess people don't really read the fine print

I feel your pain about having low fps, but it's not the bamboo that is causing the lag (I've tested it without mobs and full bamboo) It's actually the village that's in the bamboo forest, it has quite a bit of NPC's in it. Although thankfully the map stops having huge conglomerates of NPC's after that.
looks good i'll download and try it out tomorrow, cuase i'm kind og in a egyptian mood today
Egyptian Mood? Egypt isn't in the Far East
Although now that you mention it, I am going to start working on another adventure map pretty soon based on the cultures of Western and Eastern Africa with Egyptian Influences.____________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Visually great, although I would have liked SOME of the map to occur in daylight, for contrast.
Experience is great (story/dialogue), even though the plot itself is simple. I feel motivated and the quests make sense for the world.
Good breadth of puzzles, although they are fairly simple, and definitely too much jumping for my tastes.
Progression - it's long, but there's not a super amount of down time between action, so that's good. PLENTY of food. Weapons are low to moderate power, but I always have 2+ spares. Armor is scarce, but hasn't been a huge issue - mobs come in controlled bursts. I wish the quests were not self-governed, and some of the sidequest rewards are definitely not worth doing them.
Assuming I finish playing tonight I think the first video should be up tomorrow.

I'd love that! You can post the videos here if you like and I'll link them to the front page of this post along with you channel!

It's pretty long, 5 chapters in total and each chapter is long in itself.

Very good! Can't wait for more episodes! I linked it to the front page along with your channel
Take the texturepack and place it in your texture pack folder
then take the adventure map file and use a program like winzip to unzip it
take the folder inside the zipped folder and place it in the "saves" folder in the minecraft
