Hey, didn't fake. Do you think I memorized the locations or something? I went in, got the stuff, and left. That was how I did every area efficiently. No damn cheating.
Rumblehiss Nest: (Deaths: 5)
This is my least favorite area, since there was lots of lag and random vines. TNT spawners were making most of the lag, while the use of random blocks such as LAVA (yes you, lava) is a small source of that as well. I tried the piston glowstone trick to see where I needed to go but unfortunately the amount of random blocks there blocked my view. I then flew around in creative just to find the entrance (I admit I did).
Random blocks of lava?
Lava shouldn't be in random spots unless my area was tinkered with.
Uh, guys. Kiilek has found the Red Wool at the Silent Start. You might want to check that out...
(Note: Kiilek is a professional grinder.)
Was that supposed to be TNT?
I am so glad I didn't update yet then. I'll go hunt those down and kill them, I have no idea why they're there.
EDIT: Found it. It'll be patched out, alongside a cute troll, in the next patch then. I'm shooting for tomorrow, unless someone else has more stuff for me!

Been a CTM fan for a while now, never had any problem with Vechs, Coldfusion, or Amlup's maps. I knew there were other good ones, but none of them got the publicity/attention to catch my eye. Found this. Challenge accepted. I'm playing on hard, with rei's minimap installed for waypoints. Also added armor gui and similar tweaks.
Silent start. Great area. Love the beginning part with the water, the netherrack courtyard was painful. Got me 6 times, made it though with barely any wood or supplies. I recommend a bed after the water area, near the rule board. I got sick of the cool water currents after the 3rd death. Looking for extra loot was impossible, I'll be returning.
Then the maze-like part. I didn't explore it all, but the area was very fun to start. Ran through as much as I could, fought as little as possible, used creepers to grab blocks, and got the white wool. Reading the thread, I see there's a music disc I missed. Again, something to go back for.
Finally, the open-ish area with the ghast spawner and coal. Took a few cryboxes to get through, died twice. I appreciate the bed before this area. Again, need to go back for extra loot, since I only stopped for a handful of coal.
At the intersection, I picked the sapphire city route first. I love city/town areas. I didn't make a camp at the intersection, I made a nice fort in the back of the city, against the wall. The area was easily looted and secured, the "tough areas" were the lapis house (containing tons of blocks, thank you), the armory (free grinder), the bank (?) and the tower. Having these specific hardpoints made the area feel very RPG, "level 1 area level 2 area"-esque. I was able to set up food supplies, wood, cobble gear, etc. while looting these.
Haven't cleared the bank, but the armory was easily broken into from the top. Makes clearing it easier too. The tower I cleared by making a staircase up the outside, the falling creepers at random locations was too much for me to bother with, mostly because of the holes in the floor. I see how it adds to the challenge of the area, and I liked the vertical aspect of it.
Mostly cleared the tower, made a detour across the obsidian path to the next intersection. Moved my base camp, tree farm, up to the tendril. My eventual base pre-VM will be in the second intersection I think, because water.
Next goals are the rest of the tower, the bank, the secondary areas in the town (mines, side caves) followed by the rest of intersection 1. So far, this is definitely the hardest map I've played. Although, Inferno Mine's loot system makes it my favorite for now.
Lovely LP so far! I'm not the main guy, that's Hybran, but I'm the one doing all the changes based on the feedback now I've only got a WIP map myself though.
Next beta update done! Links are, as usual, updated.
Just did some small tweaks and changes again. The next update will have some changes to Citadel of Sapphire, Belly of the Beast, and Misty Deep.
See below the spoiler for full change log:
-Changed some spawners in Silent Start
-Added a bit more loot
-Removed rogue red wool
-Added an easter egg
-Tweaked Citadel of Sapphire
-Added some potions
-Fixed Dormant Mines bugs
-Made I4 much more obvious
-Set off some 'splosions. Deal with it
-Tweaked the path to I5
Fangride.... I got it from a creeper and saved it to play later. I didn't use it in the monument until i realized there was no 11. Also, hotel internet is damn irritating. One second, you can open up MC Forums fine, next, nothing loads fast enough.

Record 11 is the only in game record that can't be obtained from creeper 'splosions.
Also fang... I raged and deleted my world after getting the red and black wools and falling in lava... So.... Ya i'll play this again when the releases are further along -.-
Hybran? Forgetting something? Impossible!
Like, wowzers
Heh. I also forgot. Can't help you, there Hy-"Raisin"-Bran
Pssst - Don't pick on Hybran. He is the much loved cactii / human hybrid of the CTM genera.
My only forum infraction ever was from calling him chocolate thunder. Fer reals.
Congratulations on faking your win then.

Sorry the TNT lags you that bad.
My Minecraft Maps: coldfusionmaps.com
in this room right before the cobweb apocalypse
there was also some glowstone in the wall behind it.
-chuckles-
There's more to that question than you might be expecting.

11's not in the beta for this exact reason
