Sadly, he's stopped working on them. I'm not a personal friend with him, but I PMed him a review that I'm now going to post.
Here it is, don't feel bad for those of you who can't find this stuff, I went through in creative mode because my CPU is way too slow for me to be able to fight in the middle of those massive spawn rates.
This is a major spoiler, and does not include the four bonus blocks as I could not find them.
isaac_Bardin’s Humble Beginnings? Hah! Lies!
From the (not so) friendly beginning, onward, you can tell that this map is massive, and very impressive. For veterans of Vech’s super hostile maps, this will be a nice break from the usual rage-quit difficulty. For almost everyone else, you’ll probably lose at least one keyboard before you win. This map is incredible, to the point where I don’t think I can properly convey it without going in area by area.
A Friendly Start
More of an indifferent start if you ask me. It tells you to explore, but don’t pick up the creeper egg with efficiency III, due to updates, it no longer works. He gives you stuff to start out with, but not enough. The trees have ice- not leaves! to not only make early wood gathering difficult, but make tree farms impossible from there. At night, don’t stay. From this area, all you get is wood, stone, and coal. (and a full set of leather armor if you’re playing alone) The dock has fish, torches and such and such. Don’t mine the coal ore in the walls! its a trap! All the seams have a maximum of four ore blocks in the walls. You want coal? There is an island filled with it opposite the dock. And a free pickaxe too.
(notable treasures:Starter Chest. Dock Chest. Mega Collector 3000. Stone pickaxe. The special explorer’s treasure. fake treasure (empty).
personal opinion: This really isn't a friendly start if you take more than about 15-20 minutes here. There are quite a few mobs here almost as soon as night falls, and because it's really just a large lake, they don't die when the sun comes back up. This isn't a fun place to spend your first night, if only because you won't have better than stone tools by that point. Still pretty easy, also; make sure to grab wood and coal, you'll want them both.
enjoy the little tunnel given to you so you can craft stuff without being attacked.
Dark Deep Caves
A rather annoying area with sandstone, mobs, lava, and a sprinkling of obsidian. This place seems plenty bright with all the lava, but I suspect spawners due to the total absence of spiders. Oh, and have fun with those creepers.
(notable treasures: Cobblestone x64.)
personal opinion: ironically, they are neither deep, nor dark. This place is really easy to survive unless you fall in the lava. You can just go skipping happily down the path and nothing worse than some zombies and a few skeletons will accost you.
Intersection 1.
This is what isaac meant when he said his aesthetics weren’t up to par. But, despite the ugly looks, you’ll be grateful. Lots of coal, melon, and for some reason, emerald. It isn’t too terribly ugly though, and grows on you after a while. [tip to the adventurous. The bottom has a chest, have fun with that.]
(notable treasures: The Hard Hat. Coal x32.)
personal opinion: gameplay wise, I like this place, it is perfect for food, but not too big of an advantage (melon doesn't keep you full very long), large intersection makes for the perfect spot for a temporary base. Just don't fall off the edge of the path.
Mossy Halls
Lots of fun to be had here. Periodic spawners and dark corridors at the beginning, and some great loot in here. Have fun with the area leading up to the wool, you’ll meet plenty of skeletons and creepers. All in all, this is a nice little area. Odd use of bricks in here though.
(notable treasures: Leather x64. Tree-Growing Kit. Sword of Legions. White Wool. Potions-Low.)
personal opinion: One of the easiest places on the map. The only thing that might give you pause is the obnoxious craters the creepers make right before you reach the wool. Go through the entire thing, it'll be worth your time, as only noobs or people with computers too slow for minecraft will die here.
Brick Forest
Doesn’t look too hard at first. Don’t go in at night. The low-set trees make it all but impossible to see the monsters before they hit you. But still, Punkins! It seems easy enough until you see the creeper spawners outside the fortress. Cave spiders, creepers, undead {oh my}. Lots of unfriendly mobs haunt this area. But just outside the castle passive mobs spawn, so take the opportunity to get some meat. You get to the roof. Think you’re home free? wrong. Pigmen, blazes, ghasts, and magma cubes galore. This one is real buggery. [Oh, and isaac? Brick trees? That’s not all that insane. The Ice trees were more fantastic] Oh, and watch for traps in the fortress. The end corridor is dark, so be prepared for close quarters combat.
(notable treasures: Bow ‘n’ Arrows. Feather Boots. Goldendawn, Chestplate of Protectors. Chicken x32. Music Disk 11. iron sword+splash potions of swiftness. Orange Wool.)
personal opinion: Go to the mossy halls first. This place isn't fun at night (mob spawns are fairly high out in the woods, no idea why, you'd think there'd be less space) and the fortress is absolutely #%$^ $^#$% hard if you aren't ready. The ghast and blazes on top will ruin your day if the cave spiders on the floor below don't do it first. Pretty decent loot though, although it isn't going to carry you through this on its own. oh and, YOU CALL THIS MAP EASY!?!?
Crazy Maze Caves.
From the opening signs onward, you know that this will be “fun”. Lots of mobs spawn here, LOTS. So you’ll be fighting pretty much constantly. There are some really screwy spots [isaac knows what I’m talking about] but you will be well rewarded if you go through. He was right when he said maze caves. It is quite easy to get lost. There does seem to be large quantities of obsidian, which makes everything more menacing somehow. Hint: if you want to find the wool, look for endstone. The area ends with a railway to intersection 2. isaac, I bow to you, I am impressed already.
(notable treasures: Mob-Slayer’s Suit: Low. Thor’s Battleaxe, Bane of Life. Wood x64. Enchanted Leather Armor. Levels x64. Coal x64. Railline Kit. Lives x3. Gravedigger, Bearer of Worlds. Magenta Wool.)
personal opinion: A nifty area, obnoxious amounts of creepers here though. don't play this on hard difficulty unless you like dying a lot. note: Look for the corridor that drops suddenly with a lava fall. It goes down to void, but mob spawns are close to zero and if you make it across the pit you get an awesome battle axe (best weapon you'll get in a while). Very good area, but aesthetically the worst.
Intersection 2.
Massive hanging gardens decor. Very impressive. From this point on, you will be trolled extensively. No hidden treasures though,
(notable treasure: Extra Minecarts. Speed.)
personal opinion: You should have had more treasures. Also, I liked the hanging gardens theme.
Safe Haven.
Pretty much says it all. Here is a free base for you. YAY! Needs housekeeping very badly, but at least mobs won’t spawn. It also contains the monument and the bonus blocks room. There is also an area to build your own little place.
(notable treasures: Base-Making Kit. Xtreme Chicken-O-Matic 2000. Wood x64. Levels x64. Digger Z52.)
personal opinion: Very run down, I loved watching Staticray's LP when they didn't realize it was friendly until they realized what was in front of them was the monument. I really wonder where the bonus blocks are.
The Tunnel
a three by three tunnel with mob spawners and frustration pieces. Not really terribly hard, but kinda cool in its own little way. No big bonuses to speak of. Oh, and watch out for lava. At least you don’t have to search for treasure though.
(notable treasures: Milk. Blaze Killer. Xekthyl, Bane of Worlds. Light Blue Wool.)
Pretty easy and straight forward, don't make the endermen mad until you've removed the other spawners is my only tip.
The Wildwood.
This place is FRIKKIN ANNOYING! It is a very dark, dense forest. Lots of mobs spawn, too hard to see, the wool here is hidden, you will die often, especially if you don’t set your bed to later intersections you’ll have to run through here without upgraded stuff. Amazingly enough, no spawners in the main area. It’s all natural spawns. (Except for the cave spiders). Want to find wool? Look for netherrack. Watch out, very... No, I won’t spoil the surprise.
(notable treasures: Hard Boots. Torches x64. Iskankifur, Bow of Terror. Estokhur, Protector of Blacksmiths. Leather x64. Yellow Wool.)
personal opinion: Obnoxious area, lots of mobs, and they crawl out of the trees like ants out of an anthill that's been stepped on. The center tree is worth going for, and if you can find Estokhur, use it. Oh, and the surprise in the wool area... lava pits aren't fun.
Intersection 3
This is where it gets... fun. This place is awesome isaac. Guys, you will love the looks. It is a breathtaking view. Especially down. Just don’t fall off the walk way.
(notable treasures: Rail Kit. Enderpearls x16. Chainmail Suit {you’ll never guess where!}.
personal opinion: Really impressive, one of the best aesthetics you did. Obnoxious places to put stuff though. And the death penalty for tripping?
The Arid Lands
I stopped and gaped at this. you’ll just have to see the massive desert for yourself, that’s all I can say other than too many mobs. There are desert ruins [with a few void pits thrown in] This place is massive, there is even a cave system! With iron! [finally!] and the pink wool. For fans of the Brick Forest, there is an even bigger ominous fortress right in the center of this place! Nice and dark with plenty of spawners! This is a regular castle storming. One on half an army. On floor two? Our old friends! the cave spiders! On the roof, we get more nether mobs. Yeah. Lots of “fun”. Very impressive.
(notable treasures: Lives x8. 4 miscellaneous crap {not useful}. 1 high level miscellaneous. Pink Wool. Blocks- Low. Enchanting Table. Okharin, Suit of Legions. Diamond sword. Bread x32. Complete Farming Kit. Lime Wool. Protection IV Golden Armor. Potions- Medium. 5 miscellaneous mid-level.)
personal opinion: This area is breath taking, it is an entire landscape, and is just awe-inspiring. The castle is evil, and the caves amazing. Really, you guys just have to check this out for yourselves.
The Graves of Sezalb
Not as awe-inspiring as the other areas here, but still annoying. Natural spawns= too many. Lots of soul sand. Yeah. A bit ugly though. Insanely hard to see your way around. Second bit, way too many blazes in an area with flammable stuff. Then a massive lake, really dark. Wool is hard to get too and protected by spawners. Have FUN!
(notable treasures: Fire Resistance Potions. Power Miners x64. Potions-Medium. Gray Wool.)
personal opinion: Not easy, but not the most difficult area either. It can be frustrating until you find a good strategy, and then it's a piece of cake (unless your armor breaks)
The Generic Obligatory Mine Area.
Dark, spawners, endstone, too many deaths and mobs, max spawn, wish it were lower. You will be eaten alive, way too much lava, sudden void drops, taunts you with ore, total absence of treasure. There, I summed it up. It is BIG though, and actually pretty cool.
(notable treasures: Light Gray Wool. Rail Kit.)
personal opinion: This place is evil, swarming with mobs, this place is the ultimate mob grind. But a really talented player (or, more likely, group of players) will get a good amount of ore out of this. And drops. And levels. Watch out for the void, and don't bother trying to reach the spawners, they're all hidden under obsidian, so don't waste your time (and armor durability!) on that. Obnoxious place, but also really cool.
Intersection 4
Awesome, just awesome. Bedrock and lamps. Just, epic. Sadly, another intersection with no (good) stuff.
personal opinion: see above post.
Hellgate Crypts
You know from the opening, this will be total trolling. Redo of the Mines, only with netherrack and nether brick, and no ores. Then you see the Nether Portal. Wool over void. Fun . To the Nether!?!? Brick path, no railing, you will fall into the void. Way too many wither skeletons. Its all a nether fortress replica. You will wander for a long time looking for the wool. isaac, you are an evil genius. And very sadistic.
(notable treasures: Enderpearls x16 {trolling}. Skeleton Protectors. Delthynian Bridging Kit “Never Leave Without It!”. Purple Wool. Wither Skeleton Hunting Kit. Levels x64. Regeneration. Blue Wool. Super Hard Hat.)
personal opinion: The first area really is just a redo of the mines zone, and the second is really ugly, but sort of nifty in concept, but still definitely not your best work isaac.
Frostbright Caverns.
isaac being nice? I don’t believe that... but it seems to be true. No monsters of any kind. Huh. I guess he’s sick. HOLY! FREE WOOL AND DIAMONDS! YES! wait.. this probably isn’t isaac’s then. Oh well...
(notable treasures: Brown Wool. Diamond Miner 500 Z Xtra Plus. DIAMONDS!)
personal opinion: The one thing here in this overview you shouldn't do in order, do this before the above place, the diamonds will be welcome.
Mushroom Paradise
Open air mushroom path. Just don’t do it at night or you fall into void. Other than that, it’s great. One thing perplexes me though, why zombie pigmen?
(notable treasures: Lighting Kit. 2 Levels x64. Cyan Wool. Night Vision Potions.)
personal opinion: Another strangely easy area. A nice view and cool concept, but very strange to have it here.
Intersection 5
I don’t like the look of this, when he comes right out and says he’s trying to kill you, you know it is going to be bad. Once again, no treasure, but this looks very ominous. So you want to finish this map eh? MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
personal opinion: Yep, this area just screams "TURN BACK BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!!!"
Giant Evil Death Fortress
O.o *twitch twitch* before you even walk in you meet something unpleasant. It is VERY dark. Lots of natural spawns, and plenty of blaze spawners to keep you “happy”, and this is just the entrance! And now we find an END PORTAL right at the end of the opening hallway! (oh, um... I just punned didn’t I?) Well, no enderdragon, that’s a good sign... I hope. And it’s all dirt, odd. I am suddenly very worried. The obsidian pillars are still here, but the end crystals are already smashed. Yep, the enderdragon is dead. Odd ruins all around... I still don’t like the looks of this. Giant death fortress, you come in, and the creeper spawners don’t work. Then you start flooding with creepers. Obsidian trees? This just gets creepier and creepier (punning again ) Oh, and don’t think creepers and endermen are enough? Here comes the cavalry (read as: lots of ghasts) You get inside, to even MORE creepers and ghasts! YAY! parkour stairs, while being shot at. even. more. fun. Second floor, reinforcements for the mobs down below. Yep. More creepers and ghasts. Third floor, more mobs, and the red wool. leaving now? not yet bub. Last floor, too many creepers and ghasts, as well as the only portal back. RAAAGE! And now we get ot go... all.. the... way... back. *smashes cpu monitor*
(notable treasures: Rainbow Suit. Creeper Killer 9000. Red Wool.)
personal opinion: This. Is. Evil. The fortress is explosions all the way up. This is easily the second hardest place in lonely lands.
Vaults of Light
That sounds nice... maybe it won’t be too bad... HAH! Get real. MAGMA CUBES! ALL OVER THE PLACE! Its just a long stretch of fighting magma cubes in terrain that is perfect for making slime slaying annoying. Then you get to a place where the path is water. And now its darker, you traded one evil for a worse one. Want to scale a bedrock cliff? No? Too bad! cuz’ you have to to get the wool. And believe me, you don’t want to fall to the bottom of this chamber. Isaac, I hate you and you should go die in a hole you sadistic little... OKAY! I LIED! JUST KEEP MAKING MORE MAPS LIKE THIS!
(notable treasures: Steak x64. Boat. Green Wool. Isaacian Magma Cube Killing Kit.)
personal opinion: fits right in, third most difficult, I'm pretty sure. The first part isn't TOO hard, the second bit is rage-quit city.
The Crater.
Okay, the final area. We are almost done. Finally! Then he warns me about the next area. I feel very. very. scared. *censored* Sorry folks. This is the big surprise of the map. I’ll give you the loot list, but I’m not spoiling this area for you. Okay, never mind. Lots and lots of ghasts. {Oh my god. Its full of ghasts) direct drop into the void. No special gear. Come here last, if you haven’t survived everywhere else, this will drop you and your stuff into the void repeatedly.
(notable treasures: Hybraxian Superspeed Kit. Black Wool.)
personal opinion: WORST! EVIL! YOU! DIE! NOW! Seriously, you will rage here. Don't bring any gear but a good pick and speed. You won't have time to do anything but run. Over iron bars. You will fall off repeatedly. This will work better as a team effort. If you are really determined, you could TRY to destroy all the spawners. If you had a flight potion. Isaac displays his hate of the world here.
overall: This map is amazing, one of the best CTM maps I've seen. Definitely not easy though.
challenge: everyone! Go out through this map and try to find the obsidian, bedrock, beacon, and end portal frame blocks you need, and then tell us where they are! (I doubt any of us will find 'em otherwise) Don't ask isaac, he doesn't remember.
I literally haven't played Minecraft in a YEAR; but today I accidentally clicked on my Bookmarks folder and I found this page in there. Clicked on it, and now I'm a bit sad. This all brought back a lot of memories of times I used to have on this forum and in Minecraft. It's crazy that I really stopped playing and just never looked back, but I have a lot more time for other stuff now that I've quit Minecraft. For all the people still commenting on this post: it really warms my heart that people do care about the effort I put into my map. However, I'm certainly not going to be making any others. I've forgotten how to play Minecraft at this point, and even just clicking around the forum, everything feels so foreign, although I see a lot of my old friends here.
So yeah-- I'll probably be back here every few months (as I have so far) whenever I remember this place. I had lots of fun playing Minecraft, but it's just not for me anymore. Sorry guys. <3 Love you all!

Come to the Craft side young Isaac...
It is your DESTINY!!!
I know you've already been here before, but I have to say, even still, this map is pretty cool.
Very few other maps are playable after a few updates, but Humble Beginnings is just as playable in 1.7 as it is in 1.4
Although, 1.7 is a little bit harder since witches now spawn in the dark randomly. Fairly easy CTM map (still hard as heck for anything else). I suck at these, but they amaze me so much that I still download them.
Funny story,
At a school thing, started a LAN server on Humble Beginings... I don't think I've ever seen a group of people fail so hard.
I am proud to say I am the only person who only died once, and that was because some idiot shoved me off the edge when I wouldn't give him diamonds.
The highlights of that day:
half the people getting slaughtered and spawn camped at the 'friendly spawn' because they kept falling in the lava in the Deep Dark Caves.
Several times at which people WALKED OFF the path of the first intersection (I am not kidding, under no strenuous or difficult circumstances, they fell to their deaths)
Complaints about having no food despite my insistence that all they had to do was MINE OUT THE MELONS IN THE WALL. (Actually isaac, that bit was unintended genius. You didn't give enough food right at the start, but smart players can get a very good supply if they pay attention to the intersection.)
Two players getting into a FIST fight over a STONE SWORD at spawn.
One of the (sadly more competent) players continually running into the brick forest and failing to make it to the fort even once.
The attempted rush into the mossy halls where the others ran in without me, all died, I rushed in, grabbed tons of the loot, then had to bail because everything I'd rationed out was gone by that point.
The complete abscence of any form of competency from anyone but me and three others. One of them was one of the people that got in the fist fight. Another was the one who rushed into the brick forest, and the other guy kept getting punched into the lava and never actually reached me until we started running out of gear.
Yep. I've actually beaten Mossy Halls on my own, but this... I'm surprised these people can even find IRON in basic survival they're so bad at this.
I don't know if you'll ever see this, i know this is a really old map and all but.. i been looking to play this map for the past 2 years and i really can't find any possible place to get the link to download it. If you have the map and can please get me a way to download it i'll be more than happy. you can also contact me through my discord vQutros#2599
Sadly, he's stopped working on them. I'm not a personal friend with him, but I PMed him a review that I'm now going to post.

Isaac displays his hate of the world here.
challenge: everyone! Go out through this map and try to find the obsidian, bedrock, beacon, and end portal frame blocks you need, and then tell us where they are! (I doubt any of us will find 'em otherwise) Don't ask isaac, he doesn't remember.

Nope, sorry guys, no Destroy the Godmodder relevant stuff here...
At least, not yet.
Sorry for off topic post.
Isaac left the community, I don't believe he will be coming back, therefor the map wont be released.
WHAT A CLIFFHANGER!!!!!
