Every bloody CTM map series boasts that it's bigger, longer, and harder than other CTM series. It's almost as if it's a **** measuring contest. (bigger, longer, harder...)
EDIT: Oh! Time for a sneak-peak into my color-coded loot system! :3
To start things off, I've divided weapons into three categories: Unique, Rare, and Magic. Unique items get their name and description colored gold, along with a subtitle, and can only be obtained once in the map. Rare items have their name colored light green and appear multiple times, anywhere from 2-5. Magic items are items that aren't usually used as weapons (a la Zistonian Battlesign, Lacerator, etc.), and they get their name colored yellow, along with a purple indicator showing what level they are. Each of these levels has a tag mentioning what category they fall into. Here are a couple of example pics.
Weapons aside, Indigo is used to name and describe armor, Dark Gray is used for tools, and a White/Red combo is used for Monument Blocks.
Well, I can See Svenjals Bow next to the Skullmasher. I'm An archer and like to deal with things from afar, I have a feeling that this is gonna be a good bow. I dont know, it could probably be better than Death Sentence. I hope it has infinity :3 Another idea could be just a world where you have a stash of all of the weapons and armor and people could use against a load of zombies or whatever.

Also, I got the modified terraforming done for Avalon Fortress yesterday, and I'm planning on starting the actual structure either today or tomorrow (with Thanksgiving today, I don't know how much I'll be able to get done). I made a paper and pencil sketch of the main structure last night, and I'm really liking what I've come up with. It's definitely going to be one of the areas that I show off on the OP.
I'm gonna put a new poll up in a few minutes, hang tight for that.

Personally, I think the Infinity enchantment is a bit op, and if I give one of them out, Infinity will probably be the only enchantment on it. Well, I'm looking towards either that bow, or Hiiya'lex the hybrid. For some reason the map I've been playing has been SOOOOOOOOOO laggy. I fell into lava because it didnt register my sprint. I had fire resist though :3 Also, about the armory places, will they be at a piece of wool? It'd make sense to do that so that the players, (EX: me.)Could fight their way back to the VM or whatever you want to call the monument. Still, I'm Dying to play this map though. My hunger for failing has exceeded my expectations.

I got some good work done on Avalon Fortress today (before we went to have thanksgiving dinner), and I think I've really nailed down the style. Working on it tomorrow and hopefully I'll have pics soon.
Avalon Fortress is going... Holy crap, it is going awesome. I don't want to show screenies yet because the exterior isn't completely finished , but as soon as it is, I'll definitely get one out. I've decided to focus on the outside first before I move on to the inside, and I think that will definitely be more than half of the work. I've more or less planned out what I want for Shardveil Cove and Untapped Underpass, and I'll probably build them in the order they're listed. For now, Avalon Fortress is enough to focus on.
The islands need a bit more eroding. The brushes are quite obvious.

Oh man, I cant wait to play the final beta when it comes out. I tried playing the map that was sort of training for Dreadsky Isles, it crashed. So, I have nothing to do but play Pokemon and listen to dubstep 'till it comes out. Or, try to find my glasses.
I will be playing blind and I had to squint just to read all of the replies to this topic so far. My eyes are in pain, that isn't gonna stop me.

Hey guys, I'm still alive, don't worry. I've been working on the interior of Avalon Fortress, and I'd estimate that I've got about 50% of the work done for that area. I think it may be the most time-consuming area in Intersection 03, and it doesn't help that I don't have a whole lot of experience doing interiors around a pre-built frame. I'll see about providing pics sometime soon, but there isn't a whole lot inside the fortress that I really feel is worth screencaping. Shardveil Cove and Untapped Underpass will probably be a bit easier to build, albeit (SPOILER ALERT) UU will involve quite a bit of lore-writing.

Well, I haven't said much, and I also haven't released any new screenshots or info for a while, meaning there isn't much for people to talk about. I really want to be able to release something for you guys to look at, but until I finish the interior Avalon Fortress, there won't be much of that. Plus, you know, I want some areas to be a surprise for when the map actually comes out.
And thank you, your constant support is very encouraging.
Up until this point in time, I honestly have nothing to do except build things in my creative world and play survival. The only reason I play CTM maps is for fun, and I dont think the past few maps that I have played haven't been very fun. One of them was just on a superflat world with random structures to get wool from. EASIEST MAP EVER. Even for a player like me. I usually suck at CTM Maps, but this was too easy.
From my POV, a disgrace for CTM maps everywhere.

P.P.S: Keep doing what you do Drago, You already have a Ytuber doing an LP. (maybe even AMLUP, you know, another minecraft "Lets Play" hmm?)

I keep fairly up to date with the area progress on the OP, but I think I'll leave the bulk of the explanation as it is until I release the beta.

My layout has changed a little bit. T.R.O.L.L.Tech Facility 08 no longer has a second half that I'm putting off, as I was kinda dreading building that area since I got so sick of the style in the main building, so I figured if I wasn't going to enjoy building it, it shouldn't be in this map. What I do have, though, I'll keep and consider using in future maps. Instead, Avalon Fortress is going to have two wool, and due to its size, this compromise makes sense. I'm also completely rethinking my previous concept for the Brown wool, as it just wasn't very good and didn't seem to fit in this map. I may reuse the concept later, though. >:] Just a little bit of an update for you guys.
Avalon Fortress is coming along good, I've finished the interior of the main building, and I'm working on the large tower, along with... Things. And stuff. :3
Anywho, here's a teaser screenie that I managed to scrape together. Not a fantastic angle, it looks much better in-game, but at least it's something.
EDIT: I think I'm on the home stretch with Avalon Fortress. Got one last area to build before I place all the spawners and loot, then I'm done.
