good loot seems too rare for me, and i have yet to find a single rose. i think the whole stick business should be solved by making them expensive emerald wise but not use the rose for them, if you lose your weapon, your f**ked. also maybe leather could be slightly cheaper. anyway, great map!
Not sure if this against the rules but i made blaze rods into blaze powder and combined it with slime balls to get tons of emeralds ( then diamonds for diamond armor =3)
bookmarked for later, it sounds like you're still implementing some stuff (bosses? I do like bosses. See if you can get some inspiration from Hypixel's herobrine house, he did some good bosses)
Just a note about the future updates for anyone who's wondering, there will be a reward on every second run through the map. i.e. The second run you'll get armour, on the 4th there will be a boss and then you'll get weapons, on the 6th, you'll get a challenge map, on the 8th, you'll get more armour.
Please be patient as there is still a fair bit for me to do, and I'd very much so like everyone to come back and play it when it's all working great!

I've gotten a bit of insperation off that, mainly ideas about how to do it. But I can assure you they're definitely unique.
Before making any further questions, I have a list of things that people ask. These may be due to machinery or vanilla (and it's bugs).
Question 1: I spawn on a Lapis Lazuli block and press the buttons but nothing happens. What do I do?
Answer 1: You probably loaded an outdated version of Minecraft where "command blocks" have not been placed yet. Use the 1.4 updates, get a copy, overload it with the old one and try again.
Question 2: I can break Glowstone. Why does this happen?
Answer 2: This has something to do with Vanilla bugs. The bug is that you can break something even in Adventure Mode, given the right thing to mine it (I may not understand Glowstone's stone-glass property states in this version but it may have something to do with the glass state explaining the thing you can even break it with fists.). Try not to break some glowstone as they might reveal the map's machinery.
Question 3: Based on the Yogscast, they get loot every 4 dungeons, but I tried and it didn't work. How come?
Answer 3: Back Fire made a version only for them where they get special upgrades apart from the normal machinery. It takes 4 times longer for the normal versions (I have to say on a note that this is kinda overpowered you need to cross 16 dungeons successfully) to get loot.
Question 4: I only get a server but I want to play it on singleplayer. What do I do?
Answer 4: If you know something about accessing .minecraft and extracting, you may already know what to do, but if you are confused, here is the thing you should do: First, access the file that contains the server components. Now grab out ONLY the folder named "world". Now try and search for a file named ".minecraft". Look for a folder with the name "saves". Grab the world file and put it in saves. Rename it to your liking and play Minecraft SSP. You should be able to find a save called "world". Rename it also if you want, and play. If you get stuck, read question 1 above.
Question 5: I inputted the correct code switches but nothing happened. Why?
Answer 5: I gained knowledge based on the play-through of the Yogscast. When you get the right code, go back to the class-picking/bedroom place in the Hall. Find an open hole on the sides (from entering the room, crafting hole is on the right, brewing on the left (I'm not sure with this one...)). Press the button in the hole and re-check the code rooms.

That's all for now. More questions, more answers.
For the next update, I have redesigned the rewards system. As well as a lot of other things, so I will see a lot fairer on effort-to-rewards. The players will effectively get a reward on every second run (8 dungeons). The rewards include challenges, boss battles (rewarded themselves with weapons), and armours. The difficulty system has also been revamped, so that now the difficulty will increase as the player progresses.
There is something with the NBT tags that do not allow for command blocks to be enabled by default on single-player games I believe. This is because I initially begun the map on a server in 1.3.2. This will be fixed in the next update. Please use the server version for now if possible.
I'm also looking into a way around being able to break glowstone. When I was initially designing the map, this was not possible, hence the copious amounts of glowstone everywhere. As of now, my only advice is avoid breaking it, and fix it if you do.
There's also a bug that allows mobs to trigger the exit, even thought I thought I made them fairly mob-proof. I am also working on this.
Quick question: Can I run this in Single Player? And, if I can, do I simply download+extract the files and drop the "world" folder into my saves? Answer as soon as you can, I reaaaaallllyyy wanna play this map D: It looks so good <3
what about makeing a room where you can go and slay all the monsters you want to and pick the one monster you wanner fight (so bosses and stuff dont get in the way of playing and getting loot)?
I dont know if this is an intentionall glitch in your game mechanics, but instead of wasting 2 emeralds to repair than re-enchant a player could simply put their enchanted bow were the non enchanted icon is and repair it for 1 emerald.
And also i was wondering if perhaps it would be possible to make it show if you die in the nether area then when you go into the portal to continue you appear in the nether area instead of having to restart the entire area. Perhaps this could be for easy and normal and restart from begining hard and expert.
and the boss fight with the huge ----- is there any way to make it immune to the lava?
I also took a peek outside and was immeadiatly awed. I could no even start to make sense of the mechanincs.
Love your work and hope youl continue improving it awsome job!!!
That's not a glitch, there are two blacksmiths for this purpose. One is for repairing and disenchanting, giving a plain weapon. The other is for repairing and enchanting.

Are you planning on updating it frequently, or will there be a time when it is completely finished and you'll pretty much end adding more features?
