Version 1.0.1 of Chunks has been released! This version adds a little more loot, and fixes an issue with spawn protection for vanilla servers making the map impossible for non-ops.
Check out my video description!
"Chunks" is a basic Race for Wool map with a few twists. First off, the map is literally twisted; the two lanes spiral around each other, allowing for interesting and unique strategies. (This is inspired by another RFW map, called "Twisted Desert.")The two lanes curving around each other
Secondly, there is only one wool that needs to be placed on the RFW-standard monument to win the game (although it is quite difficult to get to).The single-wool monument, known as the Monument of Competence.
Thirdly, the two lanes also spiral around an island in the center of the map called PvP Central. Both teams may access PvP Central as soon as the sand walls surrounding it fall. The teams may cause the sand walls to fall by flipping two switches located at the end of dungeons in their lane. One of the levers, located inside of a "fleecy box"-style container.
Once both switches in a lane are flipped, the sand wall on that team's side of PvP Central falls, and that team may bridge out to PvP Central. The sand wall on the red side of PvP Central falling.
There are two buttons inside of PvP Central. One drops a piece of wool into the red team's lane, at the end of a third dungeon; the other does the same for blue team. (They are color coded to avoid confusion.)Red team's button, and a view of the top of PvP Central Tower.
The first team to take that wool back to the Competence Monument wins! Download Preferred Alternate

So, version 1.0.1 of Chunks has been released. It adds a bit more loot, fixes an issue where spawn protection would make it impossible to place/break blocks in PvP Central (thus making it impossible to get to the upper level of the tower to press the button), and adds a sumo arena to spawn.

I did... I actually posted there requesting beta testers.
Well, if you head over to reddit.com/r/mctourney, they've got a great community there where you can form a team and play against other people.
I wonder how this map is like Vertigo.
