Is there a way of getting obsidian? After the mooshroom, you can get practically anything in the shops using buckets. This kinda ruins the plot. You shouldn't be able to get cows and mooshrooms. After 5 mins with the mooshroom, I got about 50 emerald blocks.
Ideally, it takes you awhile to afford to buy a cow, and then after that it's pretty much smooth sailing due to how easy it is to buy buckets, milk cows, sell milk, buy more buckets. However, the fact that you can get one of the mooshrooms with minimal effort and no trading means you can essentially have a cow for free if you want to shear your mooshroom. This sort of feels like cheating to me, but of course it's up to the player what he or she wants to do.
EDIT: I forgot mooshrooms can be milked without shearing them, so my above point is moot, though I do feel like you should have to work to get enough money to buy a cow and start making milk. Getting milk for free does sort of break the economy.
Well the only ways do make map better is a mod (marriage, functional furniture, crops, seasons, tools) maps great cant wait for the towns if there was a harvest moon complete remake mod I would think its the biggest in the entire minecraft history
I'm playing this map with a friend and we think it would be nice if you included two beds in the house. I eventually just took one from the village, but we felt like it was sort of cheating.
Also, it would be nice if a few empty item frames would be included. We like putting our diamond loot in frames on a trophy wall and cows (for leather) are rather expensive.
Should I play on at least easy or is the map meant to be peaceful? I noticed there is all sorts of armor, weapons, and armor & weapon-related enchanted books being sold around the town, so I am guessing the map is intended to be played on a difficulty where mobs spawn...?
I'm pretty sure with TMI, or some admin command, you can spawn in an infinite carrot on a stick, with no durability loss...
EDIT: 'NBT' is the way to go, just google 'infinite durability spawning minecraft' and you'll find the the guide And it's about 377630 uses for a diamond tool. Not very sure about a carrot on a stick though!
I know it's horrible of me to think and say this, but due to my inability to play MC much lately (too many work hours), I'm almost relieved I haven't missed the new release, though I feel bad that it's stalled a bit. If I remember, the OP is also a college student and finals are looming. I'd personally wait as long as needed for this map to be perfected. As always, thanks for all the hard work guys!

I am very new to Minecraft and playing this map was the most enjoyable Minecraft experiences so far. I hope you update! Either way I will play this map over and over. I loved this map so thank you!!!
I only recently started playing this map as a time killer until some other maps I've been playing get 1.5 patches, and I was really plesantly surprised! It's a fantastic map, and apart from the fact that I'm doing terribly at it, it's a load of fun!
I'm super pumped to see this multiple city version come out soon, I'm gonna play the absolute hell out of it! Keep up the great work!

Yeah, me too.
Hey LOD, let me know if there is any way I can help out with the map. I'd love to help out.
My offer is still standing, if you want me to build or test or whatever. I loved the map, and I really want to see it updated.
