Hey there, Crimson here. And here is my 4th Progress Report of my playthrough on Vigilis Oculos of Septum Immoriel. And damn! I haven't done one of these in a long time. When was my last one? January 20, 2014? I believe that is correct. Um... What were we talking about?
So, since I last played, I managed to complete the second dungeon and obtained the Yellow Wool! Yeah, if you haven't noticed already, I play too much. >_< But I didn't say that was a complaint of me. Hmm... I'm not sure how much I can remember since I last played, but I'll try to record as much as I can remember. And... Let's go!
Experience -- Hmm... So, about that [ ♫ ] symbol. I decided to listen to Forest Funk from Super Meat Boy - an extended version that I found on teh internets. Oh, don't mind my love for VGM. I can't help myself! Um... Your spawners up in the front entrance of the dungeon were easily conquered, but I'm pretty sure that only one spawned. However, your fish-that-is-silver spawners were giving me an annoyance as they were only damaging my armor. Hmm... I know that there was a room that led me downwards. Well, thanks for those elixirs. I guess.
Positivity -- If you haven't noticed, I show great awe to the aesthetics of everything. Love that stained glass of holiness. Again, thanks for those Blocks of Gold! Um... That's it. :/
Critical Reception -- *sigh* Chests are still empty as h... But really, some examples would include those chests on the left and right side within the bookcases, as well as that one chest in, I believe, the front middle. And about those silverfish... Eh, I probably shouldn't complain about difficulty as that is usually what I not focus on.

Experience -- "Lalalala... What the hell? Why is there so many monsters?!" I'm pretty sure I was thinking that, except for that "lalala" part. I would never say such a thing! Well, at least I get so much XP for this. Yeah, I think I got unlucky on this situation. So, time to chug a Potion of Strength and Swiftness! Don't worry if I've died, because I didn't... at all! YES! After that horrid battle, I gather all the loot and the Yellow Wool! Cool! Now to escape...
Positivity -- You seem to be generous when it comes to Blocks of Redstone. Don't know if you can see it, but I happen to mine a stack (64) of it for brewing purposes. Again, thanks for those potions. Oh, and I see that you were trying to hide that chest above the fleecy box. Sneaky you!
Critical Reception -- The outrageous random spawns were at the highest levels for me. I kept having fears because of those Creepers. Yep, fearing that they could cause detonation to the dining room.

I plan to do a small Vigilis Patch fairly soon that fixes those empty chests - they're actually filled in the version I have, so I really don't know what happened. I'll also try and add a few extra honeypots in that last room, though the added spawns do help make it a bit more difficult.
I'm also considering shifting the wool placement a bit, as it's fairly easy to get, but I'm not totally sure where yet.
Another thing I rather want to do, since I saw some others doing this...

Personally I'm not a fan of these. I dislike the amount of spoilers these give out mostly, but if it was slightly vague (no picture, referring to area by wool color) I'd have no problem with it.

Isn't that why we use Spoilers (BBCode) for something like this? You can have the option if you would like to take a peek or just simply ignore it, that way you won't spoil it for yourself.

It also doesn't help that I've spoiled all area names in the OP already, and have had them spoiled for awhile. So spoilers aren't really a big issue, IMO. The development of the map has been incredibly open, on purpose.

Finally finished my LP of Vigilis Oculos! Gotta say, I really enjoyed the map. I give further thoughts plus a review at the end of the video

- Rebalanced the Dungeons - Swapped the order of 1 and 2
- Added some raw food about
- Lit up each and every Story chest
- Added a few new items, including a fancy tribute item hidden about
- Filled the last few empty chests
- Added a teleporter from the Intersection to the Monument
Also, it seems Vigilis Oculos currently has just under 1,200 downloads as of now!

I think I'll check out the 1.2 patch in creative mode just to see the changes and all the hidden goodies! Then, maybe I'll play on the 1.1 version just to conquer the 3rd dungeon. Seriously, custom items are my favorite about CTM maps. I must find out about that tribute! Okay, see you later.

I have to wonder, what was the point of this? Was there something special during development of the mini-map? Hmm... I guess I should be glad while I was on my creative mode run of the 1.2 patch. Cool secret, I guess.
