It isn't being put out until the final. What exactly has got you so interested about the pack I edited? It honestly isn't any different except for the cobble stone and smooth stone, those are the only blocks I changed.
This is the most wonderful creation I have ever seen. The shader adds alot to it, I must say, but it sends chills down my spine how well made this is. And if this could be turned into a post-apocalyptic survival map, mother of god...
Thanks pal! And yeah I was toying with the idea of doing something like that, with that one mod that lets you make custom talking NPC's and what not. We'll see!
After you have finished building everything, will you seal it in, in some way? Like surrounding it all with very dense forest? That would be great if this was ever to be used as a custom maps, so that you can't "escape" out to the flatlands.
Yeah in the final version I'm planning on raising it, I didn't know that Super Flat was all the way at bedrock haha. Thing is Ukraine is pretty flat, or atleast the Exclusion Zone for all I'm concerned, but from my time spent there I can say it's pretty flat. So I;m not planning on any mountains however your idea of a super dense forest could do the trick. If the map gets popular enough I'd even make the entire exclusion zone, 100's of abandoned villages over an enormous landscape would make for a fun map indeed.
Wow! I'm surprised how well the map carries over into vanilla Minecraft. My only suggestion is that the player starts with a map in a future/final version. The decay of the buildings is done very well. I cannot wait until the next release.

Thanks! And yeah good idea! I might include a PNG file as a map, I don't find the in game ones very useful.
I for one would love to see an entire Exclusion Zone map. I finally went through the whole map and it is haunting how realistic it is. I have never had the oppertunity to go to the Ukraine. I only know what Pripyat looks like from photos and documentaries. But I am willing to bet that this is the closest thing to being there. I can defianantly agree with a previous poster, that this map does send chills down your spine. Everyone I have show this map to has said the same thing. Great job!! Thank you.

Reminds me COD, that map was so sad and somewhat scary.

Give it a go haha, excellent game that inspired alot of this map!
I didn't change anything but the stone and the cobble man, the rest is native the medieval pack.

The power plant will be in there next release, I wanted to add it this time but it's incredibly large, and very time consuming.
