Going down is easy, fighting your way back up against the flow of lava is the tricky part. This map focuses less on aesthetics, and more on a simple, yet very challenging structure that gives it a play time of 10-20 minutes.
Lol, anyway. Tried one of them out, whole heap of fun. I did the agility test one.
I did all of them, but lvl 1. The lime wool.. Wtf? I swear to god it's impossible... Also, I think the orange on burnt.. the chest wasn't there xD
Either was any wool.
But 3 legit completed, and that god damn level. Un-complete. It's so difficult.

Lime wool? in the place with the red wool, mine some sand and build on top of the beacon to the top for it LOL

Making these maps, it's weird how off track your original idea can get... Anyways, here's this, difficulty map tomorrow (For Red), very fun map after that (For Hyb). fun=potion-y
Forgotten in time, covered by growth, the ancient city rests undisturbed beneath civilization. This map is straightforward with minor challenge, giving it a play time of 5-10 minutes.
Hey Xekaj,
I've seen your map series when it was newly released, but never could be bothered to log on to comment. Anyways, I wanted to say your maps look great and I can't wait to your full map is released. I'm currently unable to play Minecraft as I'm overseas but, I can't wait till I come back and try your mini-maps.
I hope more people will see your maps as they are of really great quality, keep up the great work!
Thanks,
Dterer
Mmm, your maps look very interesting! Before I start playing them, I have a few questions for you :
Am I allowed to use the "Endermen Don't Pick Up Blocks" mod? I am paranoid about them destroying the map little by little (And for a reason since they are known to set off traps intended for the player or move/steal important resources). That will be the only mod I will use if you're ok with it.
Which version of Minecraft am I supposed to use for this map? From what I could tell by reading the topic, it's 1.2 until IQ Agility II. Is this right?

If you're thinking that you're going to spend an overly long time on these maps, you're wrong.
Darn, I find these maps d*** near impossible. What are the ranks in terms of difficulty of the maps so far?
IMO, hardest to easiest:
Archincarceron (#5) or Drowning Terror (#9), depending on your forte
Dancing Shadows (#3)
Spiraled Floodgates (#7)
Centric Elements (#6)
Sandswarm (#1)
Quagmire Jungle (#2)
Goldthread Lattice (#4)
Forsaken City (#8)

I did all of them, but lvl 1. The lime wool.. Wtf? I swear to god it's impossible...Yep, pretty difficult, but rest assured it's possible, I can make every jump easily 1 out of 2 times or more
Also, I think the orange on burnt.. the chest wasn't there xD Don't know what you mean by "burnt", but if you attempt to update anything it does blow up.
Either was any wool.
But 3 legit completed, and that god damn level. Un-complete. It's so difficult. Well 3/4 is better than most

Thanks! I really enjoy making these map, and appreciate your support for me doing so

Yep, you can use that mod and any that are purely UI or performance related, though I don't think there's any maps so far that could have endermen screw it up. Until I update them, all the maps except IQ Agility II and the Advent maps are for 1.2 - 1.2.5

Archincarceron (#5) or Drowning Terror (#9), depending on your forte
Dancing Shadows (#3)
Spiraled Floodgates (#7)

Sandswarm (#1)
Quagmire Jungle (#2)
Goldthread Lattice (#4)
Forsaken City (#8)
They watch you…from the darkness…waiting…hidden, in the fog of demise.
Xek, you've outdone yourself with Drowning Terror. It's intense, terrifying, and nerve-wracking. And the worst part is that you move so slowly. It's just...OH MY GOD I HATE IT!!!!!
Also, my list is fairly different from yours (Hardest to Easiest):
(#9) Drowning Terror
(#3) Dancing Shadows
(#5) Archinarcarcearconaron
(#6) Centric Elements
(#8) Forsaken City
(#1) Sandswarm
(#7) Spiraled Floodgates
(#4) Goldthread Lattice
(#2) Quagmire Jungle
I guess it all really depends on your playstyle. But I think that Dancing Shadows, Archarcincarceorn, and Drowning Terror would be the 3 hardest for anyone, and then the hardest within those will vary by player. I still haven't beaten Drowning Terror, but I'll get it eventually.
If you're thinking that you're going to spend an overly long time on these maps, you're wrong.
I rather ask about the 1 mod I use instead of going against the mapmaker's intended design. That's why I'll always ask about it, even if the map last for 5 minutes.
Also, I'm pretty sure I'll take a while to do these maps simply because there's so many of them.
Heh, I know I said I wouldn't put any more screenshots up, but...
I think that this map was more of a matter of getting the hang of it. Once I had a strategy and was used to knocking the pumpkins back, it got a lot easier. Though it was still the most nerve-wracking one so far.

For this one, it was easier as a rush for me. Not everything is, though, unlike Hybsie.

COME AT ME ZERO MERCY! COME AT ME!
Later that day...
Fuuuuu This is so annoying!!

I made this map! Please check it out! It's a really awesome map that took me over a year to make! :3
Hype hype hype.
By the way, I only have one son, and that's Joe Hills.

If you could leave any sort of constructive criticism, I'd appreciate it. Hopefully it wasn't too bad for a first episode. :]

Great first episode! Nice editing, and I believe you're the first person to pronounce my name correctly Can't wait for more!
Wait, how did you manage to blow up the monument be still be fine...? Still, pretty impressive making it without the supplies.

Also, here's something from Syncquential that I'm working on:
Not shown, but excess wool from fleecy boxes can also be traded off for some fun prizes...
