Anyways, I got kinda carried away while updating Dragonstone Keep...
...and ended up putting in 5 mini dungeons with various awesome loot pertaining to their theme. This means a slight delay on the update, but it'll have more awesomeness when it comes out. The two dungeons shown in those screenshots are named Ignis and Caelum, I've already done another two, and have plans for one more.
Wow.. This is amazing. How are you not that well known yet? Bump, and congratulations, keep up the hard work!
Thanks, that really means a lot!
Dragonestone Keep (Hardcore) has been updated to v1.1 now! The schematic pack for it is now also included with the download. I'll be creating the non-hardcore version next, which will take considerably less time, so keep an eye out. Easy Link
Change log v1.1:
+Five dungeons of difficulty and loot
+New weapon in the start
+More proximity bombs
+Changed a loot chest to have more of "something"
+New bonus objective (conquer all dungeons)
+Schematic Pack added to download
So remember, think happy thoughts while you play this!
Getting stuff done! I've made alterations to Dragonestone Keep and have now made a non-hardcore mode version. It's more of a "long term" map, "survival-ish" if you will. Be sure to prepare yourself with supplies for future deaths, or you might end up with nothing. Ores are also now scattered around the map for your use.
I'm downloading The Impossible now. I've played a lot of ultra hard CTM maps, I'm going to see how hard this is
EDIT:
Is it actually a CTM map? or just a glass platform which forces you to try and read sign upside down while feeling a little to drunk?
Nope, it's just a representation of the lengths I'll go to to create difficulty. I do have a plan though for an actual CTM map that utilizes a 10/10 difficulty rating.
The spawn point for the second training map seems to be place one block too far to the side. I fell off as soon as I started the map and now I have to re-download it haha

Strange, must be one of those weird Minecraft glitches because that's never happened to me in the past.
Hey guys, as I mentioned a while back, here is my let's play of IQ agility in which I fail, every task X_X
-snip-
By the way Xekaj, in the lava room, how do you get out?
Nice job! That number of deaths is actually probably rather respectable.
Erm, f*ck. It seems that I might have uploaded the wrong version. The new one should have the sign in Area 3 with the advice to take 2 chestplates as well as the bedrock in the end of the area removed. You can consider that wool gotten, my bad.
Well here's the fix if you want to try it again. IQ Agility v1.2
If I see you go anywhere near vechs with that Idea I will personally silent you :3
Well I think he'll be happy enough with HyperSpawners for a while ;). Anyways, rapid mob dispensers are the very least of what you should be afraid of me showing him...
Lol?
Lol.
Lol!
Yep, I'm back! I'm making a quick "actual" training map that isn't just forcing you to get better at running from creepers and jumping off cliffs. It'll include 4 branches of skill sets (e.g. Resources/Objectives, Mobs/Combat, etc.) with visual and written information on each. In the end there will be a "preparation test" so you can judge how well prepared you are for these maps.
You are a horrible person. You know that, right? >.<
I log into a TRAINING AREA, and find myself limping forward with 3 hearts, mostly empty food bar, no ability to run, walk, or jump, only limp forward. I get 3 swords that let me kill creepers in one shot, which then uses up the entire sword. Those swords disappear in seconds. The bow has too high a charge time to be practical, by the time I charge it up another one has emerged from the darkness. Creeper upon creeper upon creeper.
Should I even bother with these maps? There's a border between "hard" and "goddamn impossible" you crossed.
I did eventually find the black wool and record though!
In creative mode.
I'm not even going to bother with the rest of your maps.
Is it bad that I'm using DragonStone Keep as a map on my server to punish my friends who will come on to it soon?
From what I can tell, it looks hard, they will never see it coming. MUHAHAHAHA!
Not bad at all, I very much approve >:). I'd like to know how it goes/how it went.

The bow is actually quite feasible since you don't have to charge it up for the knockback effect. After a few hits you should wear down the creepers enough to kill them, or just use the swords if you're being swarmed (I think these tips are in the hints section of the main post by the way. I'm planning on having tips/walkthroughs for most of my maps in case you get stuck).
Like I said, here it is, Enjoy! (Repost from main post down below)

Description:
YThis map is designed as an overview to the skill sets and mechanics to both CTM maps in general and this series in particular. Also included is a "Final Exam" so you may test your skills and see how you are rated. Hopefully you can learn enough to get a bit of an edge in any maps you might play.
As new mechanics are implemented into Minecraft through future updates this map will be updated as I see fit.
This map was designed with the assumption that you have basic knowledge on Minecraft. If you don't go look on the Minecraft wiki.
I had a strange image of a spire-like castle surrounded by a combination of lava and water pop into my head yesterday, so I was compelled to make this. It's made as the sequel to Dragonstone Keep, (which I'm now making a sub-series) so it follows a lot of the same gameplay mechanics as in the first, of course with some new and very original stuff thrown in. If you like the first, you'll most likely like this one as well.
I also made it in only 3 hours, which begs the question of whether these could become a very frequent, maybe even weekly thing. Of course I would only do this if the time constraint doesn't have an impact on the quality/make me rush it by obligation, but it might be something I consider for the near future.
Anyways...
Here's the repost of the download for convenience, enjoy!:
This fortress of light, fueled by the eternal flame has guarded the great treasures against the darkest of the depths. Tendrils of the purest glowstone spread across the caverns walls, purifying the evil they shroud. Igneous demons float above the blazing lake while ghoulish monstrosities roam the forsaken ruins nearby, vigilant of the rare adventurer.

(The next one I'll be doing will be "Flameflare Tendrils")
That's pretty not sweet...

IQ Agility v1.2
Double buffed zombies spawned with a compact, rapid pulsar clock trigged by a proximity sensor are quite fun
Yea... fun.. haha I'll soon make a video of IQ agillity I've trained quite a lot.
Awesome! I'm looking forward to seeing someone like you try it out.

Hehe.
Oh, and I'll have the Complete Training/Preparedness Test map out this afternoon, becoming sick made for some annoying delays :/

I broke down and cussed at my computer.
Map working as intended I suppose.
Super Hostile maps I've completed: Spellbound Caves (Yeah, I pretty much suck.)
Yes, I probably would call that a mission success ;).
Did you have any particular map as a favorite though?
The one I liked the most was probably Dragonstone Keep. All of those loot boxes at the beginning helped me out.
And then a skeleton shot me in the lava and I died.

thats all i have to say.
the maps are really cool though.
...on peaceful
EDIT ill just have to start over again like my 50th time *sarcasm apparent I hope*
