Rakankrad its a known issue. Im hoping to have a fix out today. However to fix this yourself on your current map, go into the config file and delete the NEI config. (this will allow you to access cheat mode when you log in next. Spawn a couple of beehives for forest and meadows and use the bee's from their to carry on.
[This is technically not a bug, its just that bee's that are spawned in via NEI, dont have a genome, so they wont breed.]

What do you mean? I put all the zip files that were in the "put in minecraft jar" into the jar. The three files are:

NotEnoughItems-Client 1.2.1.zip
All three of those went into the jar. Just like the readme told me to.
Like i said, i was an alpha tester for the map, and trust me, it is possible to do, The beast itself will give you a clue, but only when you complete the 15 before it.

yeah.. took a peak at the configs and the forestry bronze recipe is disabled.. most annoying, need to get IC2 started to get bronze.

I guess I will need to use NEI to get beehives, unless the End Bee and the Omega Bee is the same one. I managed to get to the very end of the challenge, except for that 1 bee.
Loved playing through the challenge. Took me 13 hours to get to the very final item. Would probably have it (or be close to it) if NEI bees didn't have that genome issue.

Oh! I just cheated my way though one run just to pull up the rewards and see what I get for what to figure out this bedrock thing, and had an epiphany! Cool! Alright, I love this map, will now play it legit, though I am not *happy* about the whole reliance on bees. FTB has been about skill, not about random luck, who's more skilled than the other in PVP plays. Who built a better design and got the biofuel or diamonds, etc, faster than the other, etc. But I'll work my way though it some how.
Ok, I'm now confused. I am trying to get the GUIAPI and Minecraft Resolutions working. Using MultiMC (But installing the mods manually, so I can overwrite the config files) and in my 1.2.5 Play instance everything works fine. I had copied over the core components (the bin folder and stuff), dumped in the Mods, the Config files, etc and it was working fine. I add in the GUIAPI and MR and MR wasn't working. Some more tweaks later I delete the instance and start over. I copy over the core from the 1.2.5 play world, *KEEP* the GUIAPI and MR, fire it up, it *works*. I add the mods and the config files for FTB V3 and it crashes again. It acts like Forge is out of date, but it's the 3.1.2.94 version which is needed by EE and Redpower PR5. I repeat, with out the mod pack and the config files GUIAPI and MR works fine, once I add it in it goes *crash!* ... >.<

Update! : I disabled mod_MusiBox and it stopped crashing. So... Something with that mod is screwy.
erm on my single player in the newest version, a creeper blew up the top of the 'beast' so it exposed/destroyed some wires and a chest with bees in it...for now ive put everything a picked up inside a wooden chest next to the top, incase i still need it... what block was the bees for??

Ok, I followed the instructions. I installed ModLoader for 1.2.5(and I followed the instructions there on how to install that, including deleting the Meta-Inf folder), I put the zips that were in the "put in minecraft jar" into the MC jar, and I copied the files in the "put in minecraft root folder" to the minecraft root folder. But it is crashing on startup. What did I do wrong, or what steps were missing from the installiation instructions in the readme?

I need some help. The forrestry recipe for bronze doesn't work for me. it won't give me some bronze, when i try to combine 3 copper ingots and 1 tin ingot. I also cant macerate these ingots to dust, so that i could mix these dusts und smelt it to an bronze ingot. Someone, who can help me with that?
you have to masserate 3 copper bars and 1 tin, then combine the powders 3:1
after cooking the result you will get a copper bar that saves in the transmutation table.

I would, and did, I don't see the point of holding back Forestry until IC2 is developed to the point you can pull bars out of the table, macerate them, then make your bronze when you could drop one step and the hassles of IC2 power generation just to do Forestry machines. The quicker you can start the 64 biofuel cans the more likely you are not waiting at the end to finish that up. >.<

If you "fix" a feature I think that defeats the purpose of a legit run. They disabled the forestry bronze recipe intentionally.
