Wow, thank you! And by the way, update coming your guys' way in not too long.
i just started the brawl pit update but havn't reached the brawl pit, in fact im still in littlewood!
so instead of continuing im just donwloading this kreus desert update
I'm sorry but 75 MB for a map? Seem's kinda big. I suggest putting the map over less terrain, (shortening it). Otherwise the map's just too big.
Well I've already built all the cities and customized all the terrain... Can't really help you there, sorry. It's meant to feel like a real journey. And I'm sure a lot of that size was added from the Anvil WorldGen Update.

Good luck! And thanks for being so enthusiastic about this, it's a great help.
btw there are like a bunch of spawners between littlewood and Oclidian and along all the other roads, journeing at night is quite challenging.
oh and Peartnoy you should recomend a texture pack to go with the map
Just some quick constructive criticism:
I played through the map, I got the bit where you need green dye, but I couldn't find the road to Okellem. Other random problems: (I'm not trying to hate, but I think you really have to fix some stuff.)
Make the quests less about travelling.
When you need to go to the King, and you walk for about 8 minutes to get there, there really isn't much of a 'reward'. The people there don't say anything, there isn't anything to buy or sell, and really it seems kinda empty. Then, to top it off, the king tells you to go ALL the way back to the tomb, and then to the desert. It seems that it would be a lot easier to just make all that behind Veldam, because having to travel that much becomes less fun then adventure-y.
The torches you get don't serve a purpose.
I suggest that you make the adventure a bit more interesting, by making the environments feel like they haven't been looked at in ages. For example, the tomb should be completely dark, so you have to place torches and cross the jumps like a true adventurer. Also, Jorgen's Mine could also have this.
You get loads of armour, but you hardly use it.
It seems like you get a huge amount of armour, but you never get to properly use it. By the time I actually needed it, I was using iron armour, and I felt like I wasn't being challenged. Maybe some spawners between Littlewood and the first big city would help make the map more fun.
Thanks for reading this, I really hope you don't see this as mindless trolling, I just thought it would be good for you to make your map as good as it can be.
Thanks
Preistbob
I know, but my map is only 30 MB, yet it has 3 hours of gameplay. I don't think maps have to be that big to be good. Just sayin'.
I noticed the armor problem earlier, going to fix that. And the traveling was supposed to be made a bit more interesting by completing the optional quests and going into optional caves. I can't really fix destinations of entire regions, so I guess that'll be a problem that'll last... and about the torches, yeah I'll definitely look into that. Never thought about the whole Lumin's tomb thing, thanks! And there are actually a bunch of spawners between Littlewood and Oclidian, there's at least 2 on the tops of trees and around 3 in the surrounding area, not to mention a cave to the left. So I dunno about that one. Thanks for giving me an honest opinion, I'll definitely get to seeing what I can do about that!
And I have an idea, maybe you'll only start with a leather helmet, and inside Abel's shop is the rest of the set, instead of immediately having two sets of armor, then the chainmail could be in the Royal Guard's Tower. I'm glad you pointed this out, I suspected it wasn't really a problem because no one posted about it.
And with going to the king, I'm working on putting some optional quests in Downtown Veldam. Not sure if you had that update, but there's now the foundation of a town to the right of the main building.
So don't feel bad about giving criticism, I would never take this as a troll. It'll only ever help the map, and that's what I want to do!
yeah its true that you get too much armour too early.
also i noticed that you start with an exp level of 17 and very low food(is this intentional?)
Oh. Uh. My bad lol. It'll be fixed in the next update, which will be targeting mainly what Priestbob was talking about, armor issues, lighting, and distance problems. Distance will most likely be fixed by adding more to do on the way to different places. Also adding a more story based optional quest to Veldam, which will take place in Downtown Veldam. Thinking about adding more than just one to compensate for distance.
I tried the Brawl pit, its really cool and the reward is great!
One issue i found is that zombies dont attack you but instead stand at the wall looking up at the NPCs.
Thank you and your welcome! Subbed, going to check out the video now!
and to everyone else, a new update should be coming out tomorrow. Just going to go through tweaks. This one adds some more dungeons and other things, and another larger scale optional quest.

Oh, I didn't think of that. I'll replace zombies with something else in the next update.
The Conspirator's Update has been released! I'd like to thank Priestbob again for helping me out with some of the troubles this map had, it means a lot. Check the first topic comment to see a detailed changelog!
Armor Update added, sorry that was my bad. You shouldn't have an over-filled inventory as much. New pics coming either later tonight or tomorrow, depending on schedule/boredom.
sorry guys, but I won't be messing around with the new decorative blocks until a new version of morecreative comes out. I think I need a nice break anyways.
New pics added! some previews of things added in the new update, like the jungle, the underground civilization, and the new additions to Veldam. Sorry I couldn't get to that earlier, I've been a bit busy with other things.

Veldam looks awesome now, and where is the underground civilization i want to see without doing all the quests lol!

Have you beaten the Brawl Pit yet? I'd like some feedback, and I know I can trust you with good advice.

it took me less then 2 minutes to download, and its definatly worth 2 mere minutes
