I beat Industrial Park, and it was amazing! However, the SHFS Final checkpoint doesn't work. I had to move a piece of bedrock for the redstone to conduct. You might want to fix that, otherwise it's perfect

Thanks! I think maybe you had an older version of the map, could have sworn I had fixed the final checkpoint on SHFS. I need to go and re-balance the Infirmary for 1.6 food/hunger mechanics, I'll double check that spawnpoint in SHFS while I'm at it. Glad you enjoyed and thanks for the feedback

I would post some kind of 1337 sentence using internet speak, but Fangride is already rather annoyed at me. There's only so much that posting on his CTM map thread and saying "I'M GONNA BEET UR MAP NUB" can do, sadly.

Vechs is now with Mindcrack. Mindcrack pretty much owns the Minecraft LP. I can see how Vechs would justify taking a break from maps and working on videos. With Mindcrack on his side it's the difference between a hobby and a career.
For me, the LP is dead. You can look at my channel statistics and see that PvP, map releases and just about anything I do other than LP gets the numbers. Once I'm done with UT3 (worst views/ratings in channel history) I'll probably focus the most on creative video and PvP. A mapmaking series just takes precious time away from actually making maps. Plus with me, everything is an experiment. I don't do tutorials because most of the time I get some new trick up my sleeve, it's the first and last time I'll use it, and I certainly don't want anyone else using it until I get the chance to

Now, that seems strange. I'd always thought that LPs were more liked by the community. Guess it's just the fact that most PvP videos aren't very high-quality, and yours certainty are. A mapmaking series like Vaks Testy Wurld doesn't seem like a good idea anyways, and I doubt anybody wants you to take more time away from your already limited free-time. Huh, I kinda hope you'll take time to do more Dev-Coms though, I always love watching those.

OK, so maybe three_two hasn't been giving out too much (or any for that matter) information about VFIII. Maybe that's to keep up the surprise? I don't know, but I would like something like that, even if it was something completely random like a screenshot of a random loot chest or something.
Also, there were diamond swords in Legendary I1? I'm at I5 and I've only found axes and shovels.
That's completely up to the player. Same as difficulty. Stepping back and looking at the genre from a new perspective over the last year, I don't see how any map maker could ever estimate playtime or difficulty. Play style and random acts of Notch factor into playtime way too much. Difficulty is just as subjective. To me, if your name isn't Vechs, claiming your map is difficult is a death sentence. Just another droplet in the pi$$ing contest that is "I made the hardest CTM map ever."

I checked it out. Looks better than it plays unfortunately. To develop PvP maps you really need a crew of test subjects to play test over and over again while you develop and tweak things. It's a shame not everyone has that. For example, Cluster Chunk, went through about 3 months of play testing and tweaking damn near everyday before it reached its current state.
Just use your PVP skillz and kill everybody that harrasses you????

I'm pretty sure he means during the waiting period between games, and even so being killed is what those people want. Anyways, I'd think programming in a disguise mechanism or something would be pretty easy, maybe if you ask them REALLY nicely and threaten to kill innocent kittens if they don't? Just a suggestion. :3
I must say, the difficulty of Cakewalk Inc and Infimary has decreased drastically since the latest update. Especially with the checkpoints and (near) unlimited supplies.
