Amalon, this map is the hardest one I've ever played. usr1k and I finished our playthrough of GuudeBoulderfist's 404 Throwback this week, and Malicious Isle is the one we picked for our next LP. After 2 hours I can tell you that your "ultrahard" description is not an understatement.
Probably have about 5 or 6 more episodes of "We Heart Guude" to post on YouTube (link in my sig) and then I'll start posting videos from this playthrough.
All in all, let's just say I'm glad we don't do a death counter... I don't even want to count the number of deaths we've had in your map already. :smile.gif:

Removed cave spider spawners hidden by stone near spawn
Fixed signs
Increased spawners underground
Added 1 more obtainable diamond ore to the map (Yaaaay)
Now updated to the (hopefully) last version, V 1.1.03!
Updated to increase difficulty in the grass dungeon
Increased daytime on the first day
Added more sand underground, removed more sand above ground
Progress on the Cutthroat Caverns has begun! It'll be a linear-branching styled map, with a progressive difficulty. I've also changed the topic post, so that its a collection now.
The Gate of Illusion and Intersection 1 in Cutthroat Caverns are now done. I've also made awesome loot, so I'll be sure to sprinkle that around in the map.
I've polished things up around the spawn of cutthroat caverns so I could give you guys a screenshot. So, without further ado, the spawn of cutthroat caverns!

Wow. This map is brutal. We're about 75% done. Still have a few hours left of my Guude 404 footage, and then I'll start posting stuff from this. :smile.gif:

No, I didn't take them out. I just got rid of the ones completely hidden by stone. The ones on the shore that like pushing you into lava are still there. And besides, I put more cave spider spawners underground, to make up for the less spawn-killing.
I literally screamed at my computer and nearly broke my keyboard. I ragequit after 25 Minutes of gameplay barely accomplishing anything. In my opinion, MUCH harder than Vechs Maps. Nice Job. Looking forward to Cutthroat Caverns!
Sadly, the spawn area of Cutthroat Caverns is in a snow biome, and when it snows, you get only 1 fps. Time for the long and grueling task of exporting the current map and importing it into a different world.

All the areas of the first intersection in Cutthroat Caverns are now done. I suppose that means I need pictures. I don't really want to spoil all the areas in the map, so I'll only show them in an edit if you guys want me to.
