Simply breathtaking. I've never played any Assassin's Creed game but the city design was just marvelous. Open world at its core. Even some of the linear courses had multiple routes you could take. Each dungeon was straightforward and yet challenging, it was hard to not notice the next ledge or handhold you'd need to jump to. The bonus missions were creative and entertaining, and the markers in the sky for the dungeons were a nice touch. Well worth using the texture pack too.
To the creators, the one downside was the occasional redstone bug.
I forgot which color wool it was, but one of the dungeons had some platforms that extended with sticky pistons, and then a large room with four levers to pull. In that room, there were some pressure plates placed on glowstone, which simply broke when I stepped on them. Unfortunately a recent patch made glowstone a non-opaque block, akin to glass or half-slabs, so many items cannot be placed on them anymore (ladders, wire, pressure plates, etc.). They only uproot if the block updates though, so pressure plates automatically uproot themselves when pressed. Those particular blocks just need to be changed to a solid block and all's well.
Playing Canon at the end was really neat too, and the last chests gave me all sorts of evil thoughts.
Welcome to a custom parkour map adapted from Assassins Creed. This is a very challenging map, one of the best made parkour maps that I've seen! In this episode we take on the Tower Challenges. Enjoy!
While I was playing I came across this; http://screensnapr.com/v/rcHmij.png
The ladders aren't touching the walls at all and I'm unsure whether this is meant to be like this? Sorry if someone else has posted about this. :smile.gif:
The co-ordinates are:
x: -151.079305...
y: 66.62000...
z: -11.30000...
f: 3
I noticed that a while ago too.
I thought it's funny so I didn't remove it^^

Wow, really great map. Not too hard, just a straight-forward parkour map. The adventure was fun the whole way through, the map was really cool, a lot of nice features similar to Assassin's Creed. Great work guys.
Hey, Selib, I found an error in one of your signs. it's just after you finish riding the first minecart.
It's not really gameplay destroying, but it really confused me and made me waste about half an hour looking for the last third diamond (good job placing those, though. they were hard to find!). When I got back I realized there were too many doors for the amount of diamonds that were available. I figured out I needed to put the wool blocks down but I was very confused. I'm not sure if anyone else has posted this, but the picture below is the sign.
also, keep making more amazing maps, Selib. I thoroughly enjoyed this one.
PS: I like using the Freerunning and the Assassin Craft mods. I know I'm not supposed to, but it's awesome fun :smile.gif:
