Doing a playtrough of this map, and so far loving it! Especially the humor, thumbs up!
Minecraft (Adventure) | The Eronev Mansion Adventure - Part 1
You can find Part 2 on my channel! (Will be uploading the entire playtrough in this upcomming week)
All feedback is welcome!
Thanks for the LP! I really love the music you play and voices for the npcs. Really makes them feel more alive. My only real suggestion is to more properly read the rules instead of going "blah blah blah I got it" since you sort of broke sequence by breaking clay with the sword (you're supposed to use a shovel)... Also you seem to be using a much older version of the map. Where did you get it from?
OH MY GOD!!!!! I played this map with my friend and me and him just LOVED it. Best map I have ever experienced. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE continue with making maps like this. My friend and I cannot wait for Eronev Mansion Adventure 2 comes out I hope it is like the first one, but better. Also, I loved the boss in the best ending, and all of the amazing redstoning you did was mind blowing! Please keep on making sequels to Eronev Mansion Adventure. I loved this map so much I wrote this big reply. I can't find words to describe this map's awesomeness. If someone is reading this that hasn't played this map, GO TRY IT, IT ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are the best map creator Jigarbov. Hope you can get a long series going I just wanted to give you a lot of positive feedback for motivation because I really love your maps. My friend and I are playing The Adventure Mulitplex right now. Not trying to compare your maps, but I think that the Eronev is better than the Multiplex, but still REALLY love The Adventure Multiplex still. I am going to stop letting my mind drift off topic now. Sorry for this huge reply. The point is I really think you should make a big series of the Eronev Mansion Adventure, and I know you are making the 2nd. I just can't wait. Love your maps.
It seemed like you enjoyed it! I do want to make a sequel... it will be out this year sometime
I LOVE THIS MAP! It's the second map I have ever played and I'm glad I chose this one to play it! I even made an account to tell you how much I loved it. Everything about this map is amazing!
I hope you continue to make maps like this!
This sounds good, I have downloaded it and am now currently going to try it! Is there a recommended Texure Pack? a map this awesome deserves a custom Texure! lol, good luck on your next map!
I will Inform you guys when I have completed this map,
Wish me luck! -ech
Good luck! There is no custom texture pack because I like to give people the opportunity to use their favorite. As long as the blocks are the same you should be able to use any texture pack you like
I played this map a long time ago, and later again, and i got the best ending, all of the NPC, the diamond block and the whole jar fild with gold and 4 blocks more.
Best map ever!
PS: Is part 2 coming somethime???
A lot of people have said this actually. The first time they played it they kinda rushed through, then after some time passed they played it again and took their time to find everything and really enjoyed it. Part 2 will come... this year. I promise
That's why you must make a new map to blow us away yet again!
Also, I think I'll leave that sign there just for laughs.
Haha, I intended on doing exactly that with the awesome invisible stairs but the loss of them really hurt
side note: I found a website that was hosting a really old version of my map! I messaged them and hopefully they can update to the latest version, sucks when people do that and don't keep them up to date
Eee~ This map was so much fun, Jig! I was questioning whether or not I'd want to do it, since I wasn't too fond of your Multiplex contribution (I found it took wayyy too long for not enough excitement)... But then I played this, and it was =amazing=. I would like to point out that I totally misplaced the diamond ore block... My laptop decided it wanted to look _OVER THERE_ instead of where I had originally be pointing (you wouldn't believe how yucky that makes parkour sometimes...), so I broke it so that you could see that I had it. Unfortunately, that means it is now a diamond, not a diamond ore.
I filled the gold jar up, which makes me super happy, and I had 5 things left over that I know don't count as a point, but now I'm wondering where the other four are! Probably inside some birch tree... I think I missed a couple of birch chests...
My favorite things:
-The guided open world! I loved it so so much! You couldn't mistake what came next as long as you read everything.
-The use of dynamic dialogue made the game so much more alive and interesting.
-The optional parkour -- I am not usually very good at parkour, so knowing that I could stop at any time and go back to it was actually really encouraging. I was able to retrieve all 10 bedrock blocks, but I only needed 9 of them. If anything, the way the parkour levels develop, it helped me achieve jumps I hadn't been able to do before. It was perfect for me, a beginner, to go through these progressively tougher minigames! -- One thing: I thought you were trolling the first time I opened a bedrock chest... I hadn't checked out the bedrock building yet.
Things I didn't like:
-Too much TNT in the 'best' ending. I had to stop the game and set my perspective to tiny before I could run through the village effectively. Thanks for the warning that there was no gold, though!
I would definitely give this map a 10/10. It was FUN, it played like a game unto itself, not just some "map" in Minecraft. I plan to play it again in the future, and I CAN'T WAIT for Eronev II!
That was delightful =3 I enjoyed finding the villagers and the ice parkour area. You can probably tell by the lack of gold and block in the parkour slot i didnt spend much time exploring I did it in a single playthrough.

Glad you didn't get the average ending then, there is MUCH more TNT there Also you touched on something I really tried with this one and that is to make something that is more like a game experience than a custom map. I wanted Eronev to feel like something you could go down to the shop and buy.
As for E2, I broke ground on a new concept for it just the other day actually, I have a new idea and I hope it doesn't go to the wayside like my last attempt. I want the next one to be better, probably not bigger, but better than Eronev 1 so it will take some time to get it the way I want it. Glad you enjoyed the map

Wow to get all but one of the villagers in a single play through is pretty impressive. Good job!
This map was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed how challenging it was without being impossible. I really like going out and exploring to find all those hidden chest. The only complaint I would have is there were two places I found that you can get out of the games boundries, this led me to accidentally stumbling onto two of the endings while I was looking for gold. One is on the cliff near the right tower of the masion, the other was reached above the Glacier Outpost. But it was still a great game. I look forward to trying the second one. I was disappointed I couldn't find one more gold bar so I could make one more block, but I may have still missed one somewhere.

Thanks for playing my map! If you could pm me a ss of the exact spots you were able to jump out that would be great so I can patch them up if I do another update. Your score was pretty amazing, good job!
This is my first time playing an adventure map, so i was a little bit scared that the map might get glitches or stuff that would make it impossible to finish. But i was wrong, this map was a whole lot of fun, rewarding, and satisfying. I especially like the fact that there are side quests all around the map rewarding me with stuff such as armors and weapons.
Well, my playthrough wasnt that smooth at all, i did get stuck at some places, like the 4 minutes music riddle. I know I had to match the sounds with some kind song, but i only found that out at the last minute when i tried to run to door away from the falling lava. only then i knew that i had to match it with the first pressure plate. To make it simple for you to understand, you should place a sign telling people that we had to match the sound from the first pressure plate
my second problem was the bedrock parkour. i've collected about 7 bedrocks but i never get the chance to start the parkour as i thought i would be able to come back to the first village after going through the soul station. The signs said to take the golds with you, but i never thought that i wont be coming back there to complete everything. Kinda sad that i didnt finish the parkour, but it's okey i guess
I have couple of suggestions on ways to make Eronev 2 much better!
1. More hours and larger area to explore! i just couldnt get enough with exploring!
2. More sidequests!
3. Perhaps more structures and building? (since the only structures you built was the village and the mansion)
4. Make use of dispenser and eggs when 1.3 comes out (dragon boss perhaps? )
i think that's just about it, i had so much fun, thanks for making a great map!
ohh and this is my score :3 i managed to finish it in around 5 hours and this is my first playthrough
I'm glad my map was your first! I tried really hard making sure it was impossible to "break" the map if you follow the rules. Anything you can do has been planned for and it is impossible to break the sequence of the map and do something in the wrong order. But since this was your first map I should mention that not all maps are like this!
Some things like the music puzzle were intentionally difficult to solve, I think if you already knew you had to match the notes it would have been much easier than if you had to work it out yourself so I don't really want to put a helper sign there. Also sorry to hear about the bedrock. In fact you can go back to the village from all endings except from the best and fail ending so I guess you just got unlucky that you got the best ending (lol) so couldn't go back to the parkour. That's something I will have to consider in E2 if I add the same mechanic.
You want more hours of exploring??? It's already a huge map xD
I love sidequests too, and I think adding more wouldn't be a bad idea. Now with enchanting it's possible to add all sorts of different reward types and loot from side quests.
I agree with the structures and buildings. While it doesn't look like much is going on, there is actually quite a lot of natural structures going on. The whole desert biome was actually constructed by me, as well as the glacier and the forest. While not your typical buildings, I had to totally change the landscape to add those things in and it took quite a bit more time than I wanted.
Also I will for sure be using dispenser eggs in the next map. Those are awesome, as well as books and other awesome 1.3 stuff.
Played through with a few friends and we really enjoyed it. I liked all the redstone puzzles and the fact it wasn't just jumping. Also the multiple endings were fun.

Glad to hear it!
I started preliminary work on Eronev 2... made a poll and everything but it took all the previous answers and assigned it to the new poll... which is dumb so there will be no poll for now.

You need to rescue a minimum of 7 npcs to get the best ending.
It seemed like you enjoyed it! I do want to make a sequel... it will be out this year sometime
Glad you enjoyed it! Which ending did you get?
http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/798824-dont-take-our-ooh-away/
VERY impressive!
I always love seeing screenshots like that that show the parkour token and the best ending. Means you really got the best out of the map Great job!
That was a fun map
got best ending but didn't do the parkour
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! The parkour for sure isn't for everyone, it's pretty tough
*lol* Enjoy!

hahaha I'll take that as a compliment x) This map is so old I'd expect many maps now have better redstone than it
I saved all 8 NPCs and got up to Pro-Explorer on the best ending. I really enjoyed the map
Any time estimate on the sequel?
No estimate... except this year
Good luck! There is no custom texture pack because I like to give people the opportunity to use their favorite. As long as the blocks are the same you should be able to use any texture pack you like
