How do I convert 1 world-save folder into 3 folders for Bukkit multiplayer?
Bukkit does not save worlds the same way as Minecraft, thus you cannot just copy/paste your worldsave folder into Bukkit as is. Edited: THE ANSWER:http://www.hammondslegacy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=201
Trying to find an answer was surprisingly difficult!
I'm thinking about making a multiplayer version of this map and I'm collecting my thoughts about it on this thread.
If I do get this converted for a 1.8 bukkit server (starting on 1.7.10), I will post the converted maps and plugin configurations where you only have to download the server and plugin .jar files to make it work for you.
EDIT #1: I am converting this map and texturepack to the current version format / resource pack. Once that is done, I'll continue with the multiplayer server conversion.
EDIT #2: Here is the original map updated to 1.7.x format along with the texture pack accurately converted to a resource pack: Kingdom of the Sky for MC 1.7
EDIT #3: I have solved just about every obstacle getting this map to work well on a multiplayer server except for the automated map reset. I tried Multiverse-Adventure and AdvertCore but neither work correctly. The only solution I have would be a bit ugly...to script a restore of the world folders whenever the server restarts.
I played the map and I enjoyed it up until the parkour part where a skeleton spawned and he shot me and basically I fell in the void and have no gear so I cant play now.
Portals don't work for me, so I couldn't get to the last place. That place where is the labyrint and soulsand and lots of mobs and things. Otherwise, it is a really good map with interesting story and cool lanscapes.
I have updated this map to be compatible with Minecraft version 1.11! Links to all of the neccessary assets below. As well, I updated the sequal to be compatible with 1.11 as well, link here.
* KotS World (1.11 fix)
* KotS Resource Pack (fix)
* KotS Audio Logs
