Lost, as in not knowing where to go next, or lost as in not knowing what to do next? I can PM you some help...
Lost as in it all looks the same, and also I should test maps for you, so you can reproof them for stupid people like :tongue.gif: And don't worry about it, if I can't get the tnt then I shall find "other" means to get them. Thank you for making great maps and keep up the good work.

You can find gunpowder in one of the supply pods (although I forget how many I put in there), and if you break pinkish ground it should be sand.
I'll have to think about where I could put a replacement block for this situation.
If you can't get TNT, I can PM you with the location it was going to come into play.
Me and my friend played this map yesterday, and I recorded the entire progress. Currently we have 3 parts uploaded on our channel, - if you are interested, click here!
Right now when I'm posting this, I am rendering the fourth part. There will be a total of like 5 or 6 parts. Maybe 7, - can't tell.
Thanks! This will be helpful in my round of fixes.
Y'know, we wouldn't really mind if you put a link to our series of this map in your post. That would be helpful.
I haven't quite decided what to do with videos of my maps in these forum posts.
I don't want to spam the original thread with a bunch of playthroughs that are all the same, and of course I'm probably wisest to put the one that best shows off my map or has the most views. Or maybe I'll do what simo_415 does and change it every few days. Not sure yet.
But I -will- list all of the channels that have done a video.
All youtube channels that have done videos are now in the original post. Even the ones that had negative reviews (didn't use the texture pack, follow rules or signs).
I just want you to know that I have lost sleep over this secret puzzle lol. Such a neat aspect to any map, I'am definitely going to do something like this in any more maps I make, If I can, it's so entertaining.
Anyways, I have 5 words and a letter and number, and have been wracking my brain, trying to figure out what to do with this knowledge (Maybe Ive gone crazy and havn't actually found anything lol). If "secrets" should be discussed via pm or something, just let me know : )

I can neither confirm nor deny what you've learned, but I'm glad I've caught your interest.
I started participating in some "armchair detective" books a few years ago (Mysterious Stranger, Whistle Pig, Alchemist Dar) and I know what it's like to beat your head against a puzzle only to find out it was right in front of your face the whole time.
You might want to take a look at AdventureCraft for future projects, as it gives the creator a LOT of power, like dialogs, cutscenes, mob spawns and more. And takes away a lot of the player's power to ruin things.
Great map overall, most things worked as expected, I had a very fun time, except...
Thank you for detailed feedback!
I'm not too interested in AdventureCraft right now, as I want to stick with vanilla as much as possible. I'm hoping some of its functionality get built into the final game someday, but we'll see.
I'm keenly aware of 3 things you brought up (the first storage cart, setting difficulty back to Peaceful in the nether, leaving the flint and tinder in game without instructions). They will most likely be changed in a 1.01 version - but I don't yet have an ETA.
I don't think I posted this, but if you're interested in some behind the scenes Mars Mission stuff from shawnvmartin's playthrough, check out his other channel www.youtube.com/fivethingsnews
I can now confirm that LINKMASTER2207 is the first person to find the solution to the super secret challenge, hidden somewhere in the map, and is now receiving their prize.
NOTE: Link Master stumbled upon it in the middle but did not solve the entire puzzle, so I'm keeping the challenge open to anyone else who can prove that they solved the entire puzzle.
I just downloaded it and finished it today. and might I say you have a real gift for map making. I hope you keep up
the great work with future protects have a diamond!

Yay, well there goes my life.

I am still confirming if they actually solved the puzzle, or just stumbled upon the solution.
Regardless - they are the first.
Who will be second?!
Haven't watched them yet, but show them some +subscriber love!

FIN is the Spanish and French word for "end", often appearing at the end of books, films, video games, and other media.
Also, "The End" was too big to fit where I wanted it to :wink.gif:
Ahhhhhh, ok. Thanks.
Door: *refuses to open*
Me: ... *sighs and has the first OOC moment of the map and takes down the door*
Me: *Gets out of the first cave, with difficulty still set to Easy because there's no place saying that you should*
Ghasts: :biggrin.gif: ---===* <- This is one of the 129347 fireballs that hit everything but me.
<1 hour later, Mars looks like swiss cheese and broken pieces of redstone machinery, plus tons of faceless, speechless bots everywhere>
Me: D:
<Much later, after entering the portal under the quarry...>
Bot: Ice melts, planet revives. Blah blah blah...
Me: Hm... *Has a lighter from an earlier chest, has a derp moment, sets ice on fire(?!)*
<Hilarity ensues!>
Sooooo yeah, I felt like I had to restart the map from scratch a few times...
Thank you for detailed feedback!
